League Rules:
• Roster size: 18 players: There are no roster restrictions except that
you must draft enough players at each position to field a starting lineup on opening day.

• NFL Week 1 - Season Begins

• NFL Week 12: Trading deadline is kickoff Sunday NFL Week 12.
After the 1st kickoff on Sunday NFL Week 12, no more trades are allowed.

Trading:

• All trades must be approved by the commissioner.
• Weekly Trading Deadline: 24 hours before kickoff each week.
• All trades must be approved by the commissioner. The commissioner of the league will approve or deny trades. If the
commissioner is not comfortable with a deal he may ask the owners involved to present a rationale for the trade to
show that no collusion is involved. If a logical rationale cannot be presented, trades will not be approved. In
addition, the commissioner has the right put the trade up for league approval by means of a vote if members of the
league are uncomfortable with the players being traded. In a 12 team league, trades would be disapproved with 7 votes
• Weekly Trading Deadline: 24 hours before kickoff each week.
This means that for most weeks, if you want to trade and start your new players, you must have your trade request to
the commissioner by Saturday 1 p.m. Eastern time. This gives both owners time to submit new lineups for the current
week. If no players involved have a Thursday or Saturday game, then the deadline to have the trade request submitted
to the commissioner is the same. If any of the players are involved in Thursday or Saturday games, the deadline is 24
hours before the earliest kickoff of any player in the trade.

New Rules:

New league rules must be approved by the commissioner and then pass a majority vote of owners. If it's a 12
team league, then 7 teams must approve for the new rule to take effect. Owners failing to vote in a timely manner
will be counted as “yes” votes.
New rules will not go into effect until the off-season.


Tie Breaker (for standings) Explanation:

Our league is setup to break a tie in the standings first with the team's Division record (for same division
standings) and second with Head-to-Head records and if a tie still exists total points scored.

For wild card berths, division record will be omitted and we will go to Head to Head and then Total Points.

How does that work if more than 2 teams are tied for the wild card?

The software calculates the winning percentage of the teams that are tied ONLY in games that they played against each
other and uses this as the head-to-head tie breaker for more than 2 teams. A team that has not played the other tied
teams (having a record of 0-0) has, by default, a .500 record. So, if 3 teams are tied and their records against each
other are, respectively, 2-1, 0-0, and 1-2, the 2-1 (.667) team is first in the standings, the 0-0 (.500) team is
second and the 1-2 (.333) team is third.

Tie Breaker (for individual games, including playoff games):

Each owner will select a tie breaker player from his/her bench players. In the event that both players score the same amount of points, the
game will end in a tie (regular season only). However, if both tie breaker players score the same amount of points in
a playoff game, total bench points will be used to decide the winner. In the unlikely event that both benches score
the same amount of points, total passing, rushing, and receiving yardage of each starting lineup will be used to break
the tie and declare a winner. If a tie still exists, individual QB points followed by RB's, WR's, TE's, K, and DEF
points will be used until the tie is broken (For example if both QB's have the same # of points, total points for all
RB's will be used and so on on and so forth until a winner is determined).

Playoffs:

Four division winners and two wildcard teams will qualify for the playoffs. Thus, a total of 6 teams will make the
playoffs. The top 2 teams will get a bye in week 14. The other 4 teams (seeds 3,4,5,and 6) will compete in a wild
card round with team 3 vs 6 and team 4 vs 5. Two teams will advance to the semifinal round in week 15. The final
four will then be in the "money" rounds. In summary, 6 teams qualify for the playoffs but only the top four finishers
will be eligible for a money prize.
