A) Trades
1) Teams may trade one for one or two for one (one team trading two players in exchange for one better player)
2) In the event of a two for one trade, each team’s roster must still end up with eighteen players. This means that
the team receiving the two players must cut a player in addition to the player they traded. The team trading the two
players and receiving only one must pick up another player from the unclaimed pool of players.
3) The trading deadline is at the end of the weekly meeting prior to the ninth week of the season.
B) Waivers
1) Teams may waive and pickup players at the same position
2) For every player picked up, you must drop a player to keep your roster at the proper sixteen player limit
3) Once a player is waived by a franchise, he becomes a free agent and is eligible to be picked up by another
franchise the following week
4) A waived player may not be re-acquired by the same team for three weeks.
C) Cut player provision
1) If a franchise possesses a player cut, waived, or released by his NFL team after the trade deadline, that player
may be replaced under the following provisions:
a) Another player from the same position must replace the player being released by the franchise.
b) The player being released by the league franchise cannot be picked up by any other team and must be released from
the league player pool.
c) The league franchise must release the player the same week his NFL team releases him.
(i) The players release by the NFL team must be provable at the weekly meeting
(ii) If the transaction is not provable at the weekly meeting, the league franchise holding the player must hold that
player until such proof can be presented
d) This rule applies even if a player is cut by one NFL team and picked up by another NFL team within the same week.
e) This rule does not apply to NFL players traded to another NFL team after the league trading deadline.
D) Trading/waiver/pickup procedures
1) All trades and waiver/pickup transactions will be done during the weekly meeting.
2) The team with the worst won/loss record will go first in being allowed to make a transaction.
a) First tiebreaker for this procedure will be the team with the fewest cumulative points scored by their starters.
b) Second tiebreaker for this procedure will be a coin flip (lower team number calls the flip)
3) Each franchise will be allowed to make one transaction (trade, waiver/pickup) per turn.
4) The transaction deadline will be at the end of the weekly meeting prior to the twelfth week of the season. At this
point the sixteen players who make up the roster must finish the season with the team (unless the player is subject to
the cut player provision).
5) At the end of each weekly meeting, each franchise active roster must have the proper number of players.
E) Transaction fees
1) There will be a charge of $2.50 to a franchise any time that franchise adds a player via the waiver/pickup
procedure.
2) There will be no charge to make a trade.
3) All charges will accumulate into a “draft pool” that will be used for the end of year league party.
a) The date of the end of the year party will be set at the draft meeting.
