2023 RULES
1) Roster Size - You must draft and maintain the following roster : 2 QB’S, 4 RB’S, 5 WR’S, 2 TE’S, 2 PK’S, 2 Team Defenses.
2) The defense you draft is also your special teams. Any scoring done by a defense or special team is awarded only to the team that has that defense or special team. (If a Dallas WR. returns a punt for a TD, the team using Dallas will be awarded the points, not the team using him as a WR.)
3) Lineups - Your lineup for a game must have : QB, 2RB’S, 3WR’S, TE, PK, Defense , and a Tie breaker. The tie breaker can be any position player.
4) Please put your lineup on the Web Site. If this is not possible, call me or text me with your lineup. If a lineup or lineup change that is E- mailed or sent by text to me, is late or lost in cyberspace, the sender must verify that it was sent on time in order to be valid. If there is a Thursday or Saturday game you must submit any players you wish to use by 5 minutes before game time. The rest of your lineup can be turned in by Saturday, 8 PM. You forfeit the use of any player for a Thursday or Saturday game, if he is not put in by 5 minutes before game time. If you fail to turn in a lineup, your lineup from the previous week will be used. There will be a $10 fine assessed for each bye week player used in a starting lineup!
5) Lineup Changes - The deadline for a lineup change is 5 minutes before the start of any game. Obviously, you cannot put a player in your lineup who has already played, or take a player out of your lineup, if his team has already played. You can change your lineup on the web site. If this is not possible, you can text me or call me. Please check the web site for any lineup changes. Please contact your opponent if you are calling or texting in a change. If I’m called with a lineup change that I can’t immediately put on the web site, I will try to contact you with any change that pertains to you.
6) Trades - Trades cost each team $5. A trade is only to involve players. A trade will not be permitted if it involves any form of draft picks, cash, gifts, or any other ridiculous circumstances. Trades agreed to on the web site are not valid until both parties contact me. No trades after Saturday, 8pm. Draft day trades are free. Commissioner has final say on all trades.
7) Bidding On Players - On Tuesdays, from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, until the end of the regular season, the league will accept bids for desired players. Minimum bid is $5. This is a one-time secret bid. You cannot change your bid amount once you put your bid in. You can bid on as many players as you wish. If two people bid the same amount, I will call each one for another bid until one outbids the other. Any bid I make will be E-mailed to Frank McAdams. If you prefer, you can E-mail me your bid on Mondays. Check the web site for bid results. If a bid or a pickup is late or lost in cyberspace, the sender must verify that it was sent on time, in order to be awarded the player in question. I must be notified of the problem before Saturday 8pm, for a change to be made. Any player requested after Tuesday, 5pm, will be considered a Wednesday 9 am request. If you wish to call or text me with a pickup, my cell phone # is 215 800 2785. Players cannot be picked up until Tuesday, September 12th.
8) Pickups - Players can be picked up Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 Am to 11 PM and Saturday from 9am to Sunday 12pm. This will be done on a first come first served basis, for a $5 fee. Any request made after 11pm, Wednesday to Friday will be considered a 9am request for the following day. If two or more teams ask for the same player at the same time, each team will submit a one-time secret bid. No pickups can be made on Mondays. Bidding on or picking up players can only be done during the regular season. Playoff pickups are only permitted if an injury or suspension will cause you to have an incomplete lineup. Players involved in the Thursday game cannot be picked up until the Tuesday bid. A player in your starting lineup for a Thursday game, cannot be dropped until the following Tuesday.
9) Playoff Pickups – Rosters are frozen during the playoffs. Pickups will be permitted only if an injury, suspension, etc. (with your IR player included) will result in an incomplete lineup. In this case you may pick up a player. This player can only be used if none of the players on your roster at that position (Including IR) are active on the day of the game. A QB may be picked up if you have one active, but not starting. The deadline for this type of pickup is five minutes before game time, any day. This is a free move.
10) Dropped Players- Players dropped between Tuesday and Sunday are not available to be picked-up until the following Tuesday.
11) Trade deadline is November 25, 2023 8PM. Deadline for picking up players is December 17, 2023 1200 PM. Players involved in the Thursday night game (Dec. 14th) or the Saturday games (Dec.16th) cannot be picked up or dropped once they kickoff.
12) Injured Reserve - Each team may have one player on IR. The fee is $5. The player does not have to be injured. If you use a player in your lineup that is on your IR you will get zero points for that player. IR players may be activated at any time during the regular season and playoffs.
13) Tie Breaker (Game) - If a regular season game ends in a tie, points scored by your tie breaker, will be used to break the tie. If the points scored by the tie breaker fail to break the tie, the game ends in a tie. (Tie breaker points do not count toward total points for a game or season.) If you fail to put a tie breaker in your lineup, you will receive zero points for your tie breaker
If a playoff game ends in a tie, the tie will be broken by using :
1) Tie breaker points
2) Most touchdowns (Excluding tie breaker player)
3) Most 100 yard games by QB, RB, TE, WR. (Excluding tie breaker player)
4) Most passing yards by starter
5) Points by non-starters (IR. Not included)
6) Coin flip

3) Most points scored in head to head games
4) Division record
5) Most 100 point games

15) Playoffs - Three division winners and four wild cards make the playoffs. The team with the best regular season record will get a first round bye. The top seed will play the bottom seed throughout the playoffs. A wild card team cannot be seeded higher than a division winner.
16) Prize Money - The team with the most points scored during the regular season will receive $90. Second most points scored will receive $65. Third most points scored will receive $25. If there is a tie the money will be split.
3 division winners will receive $200. 4 Wild Cards will receive $100. The team with the best regular season record will receive $50 and a first round bye.
First round playoff winners will receive $50.
Second round playoff winners will receive $100 + 3% of move and trade money. Second round playoff losers will receive 10% of move and trade money.
Champion will receive $250 + 42% of move and trade money. Runner-up will receive $150 + 32% of move and trade money.
17) League fee is $180.00
18) Money Breakdown : League fees 11 x $180 = $1980
Commissioner league fee + $90
Total league fees = $2070
Cost of stat service - $90
= $1980
Prize money - $1980
= $ 0
19) Stat. Service - The service provides official NFL statistics and will be our final authority if there are any discrepancies with newspapers or other web sites. The web site automatically makes scoring changes, usually on Thursdays. Your score or your opponents score could change during the week. No scoring changes will be made after Saturday, midnight. Check the web site.
20) ALL TEAMS ARE TO BE AWARE OF ALL RULES! IGNORANCE OF THE RULES IS NO EXCUSE! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OPERATION OF YOUR OWN TEAM!
21) Rules committee - The committee is designed to resolve any issue that might arise, that is NOT COVERED by any of the rules. The members are Mark Schuima, Bob Timm, and Mike Donnelly. The ruling of the members is binding to all.
22) Draft – If you ask if a player is available, or request a player when it is your turn, you get that player! NO EXCEPTIONS!

Covid Rules
If the season is cut short the following rules will be in effect. If less than 8 games are played, the season never happened. It was a Twilight Zone episode! Everyone will be refunded any money paid. If at least 8 games are played and the season is cancelled we will end the season and prize money will be awarded based on points scored.
1st $425 + 20% of transactions
2nd $375 + 20% of transactions
3rd $325 + 15% of transactions
4th $275 + 10% of transactions
5th $225 + 10% of transactions
6th $175 +10% of transactions
7th $120 + 8% of transactions
8th $60 + 7% of transactions
As you know, we have always had one IR spot. That will remain the same. The player does not have to be injured, it cost $5. This year, if you have a player that is put on the NFL Covid list, you can place that player on IR. This will be a free IR move. You will have to pay to pick up a replacement player. There is no limit to the number of Covid players you can have on IR. As soon as that player is taken off the Covid list by the NFL, you must either activate or release him.
I have never been one to make up rules in season. However, because of all that is going on this year, a situation may arise where I have no choice but to change a rule or make new rule. Hopefully that situation does not arise! I have a feeling this is going to a wild ride!! If anyone has any suggestions about any of the Covid rules, please let me know. We can change them between now and the beginning of the season.
