New Rules approved for 2020-21 Season:
Injured List has been expanded due to Covid. IR will consist of 1 IR spot plus 3 Covid spots.
Covid pick-ups are FREE and do not count against your $100 free agent budget.
Covid pick-ups can be made for any position and the roster move can be made up to kick-off on Sunday/Monday.
When Covid player is reactivated, team must release the player that was picked up for the Covid player OR the Covid player himself.
New Rules approved in 2019 to go into effect for the 2020-21 Season:
- Dead Player Rule:
$20 Fine – If a player is listed as "Out" or is known to be out, that player may not be in a team's line-up. Discretion is given to the Commissioner if there’s any question as to if it was commonly known the player was out. The $20 will go to the playoff payout pot. If an owner decides to play a player listed as 'Doubtful', they must inform the league and Commissioner that they are making a conscience decision to play the doubtful player.
- Player Pick-ups:
- Regular Weekly player pickups are due to John Major by 10am on Wednesdays.
- $10 player pickup cutoff is Midnight Eastern on Saturday night. Only kickers and defenses can be picked up after midnight Saturday and can be picked up until 1pm on Sunday.
- Line-up Deadline
New for 2011 Season - Line-up deadline is now kick-off for Monday Night Football (8:30pm EST). As with Thursday games in the past, once a game has kicked off, players in that game are 'locked' and cannot be added or removed from lineups.
- Waiver Budget Limit
New for 2011 Season - Owners may not allow their budgeted free agent money bucket to go below $10 if they do not have 2 kickers and 2 QBs on their roster. This is to prevent someone with 1 kicker who finds out after the Wednesday pick-up deadline from being unable to pick-up a kicker at the last minute (using the $10 player pickup rule).
