FRANCHISE FEES
The BFL Franchise Fee is $175.00, and is a one-time entry fee. Failure to pay entry fees by the beginning of the season will cause penalties to be applied; beginning with a $25 late fee, Non eligibility for weekly award of high scoring player or team, up to full restrictions of all transactions.
The BFL has established a 32 team limit for the 2016 season. Team owners are
allowed only one team. There is a $4.00 fee for each trade or $2.00 for each player picked
up, dropped, placed on I/R or taken off I/R. All standings and statistics will be compiled and tracked on the Realtime Sports website. This site will post and track each team's record, schedule, previous scores, trades, injuries, etc. A section called the Commissioner's Corner may have commentary on league finances, news, and rule interpretations.
All late fees and transaction fees accumulated through the season will be put into a jackpot.
The last day to Pay the entire Franchise Fee is by the beginning of the regular season. All money is due to the TREASURER, Frank Mitchell. Any new member wanting to gain access to the BFL, must have the franchise fees turned in one week earlier.
The draft will start promptly at its scheduled time.

This is called a snake draft.

You may place two players on I/R if RT Sports labels that players on I/R, OUT or PUP. Once RT Sports changes that players status, the BFL Owner have until Sunday @ 9am to either keep or drop that player. The commish will drop that player if the owner does not follow the rules. Please be advised that an unlimited amount of players can placed on I/R if that player is out on Covid.
The Owners are responsible for placing or removing players from I/R.
TRADES
BFL TRADE Deadline will be the Sunday at 10:00 am PST before week seven of the BFL regular season play.
All Trades must be confirmed with the commissioner and approved by the commisioner. If the commish is involved in a trade, the asst commish must approve it.
Players may be traded between teams from the conclusion of the draft up until week seven of the season and there is no limit to the number of trades a team can make during that period. Trades do not necessarily need to include the same number of players, though each team must stay within the restrictions of the 15 man rosters. All trades are final only upon confirmation by all parties to the commissioner unless challenged. Trades and dropped players will be listed on the RTsports website.
Franchises have 48 hours to challenge any trade. Challenged trades are subject to the approval of the Rules Committee.
Trades can be challenged on the basis of unfair trading practices, obviously lop-sided trades, and/or unethical trading.
