By-Laws

THE LEAGUE 

The league will consist of 8 teams. Franchise fee, per team, is $175.00. An administration fee of $1000.00 will be deducted from the transaction fees to pay for the commissioner website and draft kit.

The league will play an 18-week season. Weeks 1-14 will be regular season. Weeks 15-16 will be playoffs, and Week 17 will be the championship game. Week 18 will have no match-ups and be played for a high score prize. Total points will only be kept through Week 16. The top 6 teams will be eligible for the playoffs. Top 2 teams in the playoffs will receive a first round bye. After Week 14, playoff and Superbowl teams are not eligible for high score. 

Placement in standings and prize money distribution will be decided by record. 1st tie breaker is Head to Head record. 2nd tie breaker is Points Scored Head-to-Head, 3rd tie breaker is most points for the season, except for week 18 where ties will share the pot.

Playoff and Superbowl teams are not eligible for high score prize money during weeks 15*-16 (Wk 15, teams on 1st round bye are eligible for HS prize)

 

PLAYING THE GAME

Each franchise will draft a team and play head to head against an opponent each week. Each team will be equally matched in number of players and positions, but not necessarily in talent. Whoever scores the most points, wins. There will be no ties.

 

ROSTERS

You will draft a team of 16 players. You can construct your team however you want, you just need to be able to cover all starting positions. Maximum roster requirements are no longer required. (new for 2020)

There is no compensation for a drafted player who does not play for reasons such as injury, suspension, arrest, etc.

 

STARTING ROSTERS

Your starting roster, each week, will consist of:

QB: 1, RB: 2, REC/TE: 2, K: 1, DEF/ST: 1, FLEX: 2 (flex players can be either a RB or REC/TE)

Starting rosters are due prior to the kickoff of a players game.

If you fail to enter in your roster by deadline, there will be penalties. Your same roster from the previous week will be used again. However, your team will be penalized 30 points and your team is not eligible for high score.

Each owner is able to enter their roster into the system on their own. You are responsible for entering your roster. The system will lock players once their game starts and you will not be able to start or bench a player after that time.

The only time the commissioner will enter your roster after a deadline is if you had some sort of system problem that prevented you from entering the roster. Should you experience a problem you can call Aaron's cell number (925) 413-7275. PLEASE ENTER YOUR ROSTER AS FAR IN ADVANCE OF THE WEEKLY DEADLINE AS POSSIBLE TO AVOID ANY PROBLEMS.

If you want to reuse the same roster from the previous week, you still need to go into the "Load Roster" page and click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the roster list. This will update the website with a time stamp to show that you updated your roster even though you are using the same players.

 

SCORING

See scoring information on website.

All DEF/ST or punt/kick return TD's will be credited to the DEF/ST, not the individual player who scored. The exception is on 2-point conversions and also with IDP's. The player(s) that passed/received/rushed for the 2-point conversion will be awarded the points. A fake FG or fake Punt resulting in a TD will be scored as Offense.

You have one week to dispute any point totals for a game. If you do not dispute a score within the allotted time, the point total will stand.

 

HEAD TO HEAD MATCHUP TIEBREAKER RULES

When each team is setting up their starting roster, you will also designate an "Tie Breaker" player for your game from the check box column on the set roster page. This player will be a bench player (Any OFFENSE position) that is attached to your starting roster for tie breaking purposes only. The points scored by that player do not get included in your score for the week and those points will never be used for anything other than tie breaking purposes. Your Tie Breaker player cannot be a player that is already in your starting roster for the week. IF YOU DO NOT SELECT A TIE BREAKER PLAYER ON YOUR ROSTER FOR THE WEEK AND YOUR GAME ENDS IN A TIE, YOU AUTOMATICALLY LOSE THE TIEBREAKER. In the event that a game ends in a tie and both teams Tie Breaker players are tied as well, the highest scoring player from a team's full roster will be used to break the tie.

 

TRANSACTIONS

FREE AGENT TRANSACTIONS ARE NOW MADE THROUGH THE WEBSITE. The site will not allow you to make a pick up until the usual FA start time of 7PM.

 

The league is now using an automated Waiver Claim Period established through the site. Priority is still determined by Worst-to-First order of Weekly standings. Please see details under LEAGUE>RULES>FREE AGENT TRANSACTIONS.

Waiver Claims can be submitted from 4AM Tuesday to 3PM Wednesday every week.

Unrestricted Transactions are only allowed from 7PM Wednesday to 10AM Sunday morning (first game time).

No transactions can be processed between 3PM-7PM Wednesday due to Waiver processing by the system.

During the regular season, each team is allowed unlimited trades. Trades are allowed through Week 10. Each trade is free.

Multi-player trades are not allowed (2 players for 1, etc.) Trades are one for one.

Trades for Free Agency picks are not allowed.

A team that trades a player away cannot get that player back for a minimum of 4 weeks. Dropped players are not available to be picked up by any team until the following week (unless a FA pick is reversed by the commissioner). 

Each team receives 3 Free Agent picks per week for the entire season. You cannot carry over unused picks from week to week. If you don't use them you lose them. Free Agent picks are allowed through Week 18 and are first come first served. Free Agent picks are free (new for 2021 season). You must drop a player from your roster each time you acquire a player via Free Agency. Any position can be dropped for a FA pick-up.
