Constitution
The football league consists of a certain number of pre-arranged member teams (Currently 12). Teams are separated into divisions by draft number order. For Example (12 team league): The 1st 4 teams are in division 1 (1-4), the 2nd 4 teams (5-8) are in division 2 and the last 4 teams (9-12) are in division 3. The drafting order shall be determined at a league meeting, usually at the year-ending party for the league from the previous year. If a team should happen to drop out of the league, a replacement team will be sought after to replace the team. In the case where 2 teams would drop out of the league, a coin toss will be used to determine draft position new member teams (the winner will have choice of draft position out of the open spots). Draft positions may not be traded. Teams compete for a combination of points and for a favorable win-loss record. Teams will be ranked by record order within their divisions, as well as overall and ranked in point order overall. Division winners will be determined by best record first, reverting to head - head meetings and then points if still tied (coin toss past that). Record is also used to determine playoff seeding, reverting to points as well.
Playoff Determination
8 of the 12 teams in the league make the playoffs. All 3 division winners automatically qualify for playoff competition. The playoffs begin week 14 and run through week 16 of the NFL regular season. The 3 division winners become the 1, 2 and 3 seeds in the playoffs, determined by best record to worst record order (points order will be used for any ties). The remaining 5 teams are determined by best record and placed in order by best to worst record (points order will be used for any ties). The 1st round playoff matchups are as follows: 1-8, 2-7, 3-6, and 4-5. In round 2, the playoff bracket is "re-seeded" so that the highest remaining seed is playing the lowest remaining seed. The winning teams from the 2nd round of the payoffs advance to the Fantasy Super Bowl, which is held on the 16th week of the NFL regular season. The winner of round 3 of the playoffs is deemed Fantasy Super Bowl Champion. During all playoff weeks, all teams not in the playoffs will continue to compete for weekly and overall points (as well as playoff teams).
The 4 teams not in playoff competition will be invited to participate in the Toilet Bowl. Cost per team is $20.00. The same format will for bracketing as above. The winner of the Toilet Bowl takes all the money ($80.00). There is no 2nd place.
Payouts
Payouts are done on a weekly and seasonal basis but are considered separate. Each team enters a $275 fee for a franchise team. Weekly points are paid out as follows: High Points - $50, 2nd - $30, 3rd - $15. The end of the year payouts are divided as follows:
Division Winners (3) - $60 each
Super Bowl Champion - $300
Super Bowl Runner-up - $200
Semi-Final Playoff Loser (2) - $50 each
Top Points Winner (all 17 weeks) - $300
2nd in Total Points - $200
3rd in Total Points - $100
The remaining money will be used to pay for the Commissioner's fee, currently $305, and is used for the Commissioner's team entry fee. Payouts are subject to change on a yearly basis. All changes made are voted on and ratified by a majority vote of the member teams. Entry fees can be paid at any time during the regular season, preferably before the last week of the NFL regular season so the payouts can be made on a timely basis.
Trades
The only rule for trades is that they must be even in number. If one team wishes to trade 2 players, he must receive 2 in return. Trades will be checked by a separate trade committee to make sure that they are fair. The trade committee may veto a trade if it is considered to be one sided. The trade committee is a 3 member team that is chosen at the year end meeting.

This score decreases the amount of points the defense gives up in the game (i.e. Browns give up 15 point to the Steelers; Browns Defense scores 15 points (30-15=15). All Defenses also score 6 points for each touchdown scored on an interception and/or fumble recovery and 2 points for each safety. Defenses cannot score negative points. Bye week defenses score zero points.
