1. TRANSACTIONS
There will be 2 sessions to make a move for either reserving/replacing an injured player or adding/dropping a player. Days and times are set for each session for the entire season. Players dropped will be protected free agents until the following week's Waiver Wire.
Used for competitive claims (for either an injury reserve/replacement or free agent) with picking order based on current power ranking standings (lowest to highest). Competitive claims are submitted via the “Waiver Wire” page on your Team page menu and are reviewed by the commissioner. The lower team in the current power ranking season standings will establish first priority selection order when the same player is claimed. Tiebreaker (if power ranking totals are equal) will be total fantasy points for season (lowest takes precedence). For Week 1 claims, the reverse order of the draft (last pick to first pick) will be used for priority selection order. Once the postseason has commenced (see below), the waiver wire priority for week 17 will be based on the playoff point standings after week 16. No fees will be incurred for waiver wire moves.
If a team wants to make more than one move, he needs to establish which move should be considered his first priority, which is second, and so on. This can be done by utilizing the "Bid Group" selection box at the top of the waiver wire page. Type in "Bid Group 1" and make your selection(s) and save. If you want to add "contingent" picks, you can place more than one player in a Bid Group by simply adding more names from the FA list. If your first choice is selected before you, your next contingent pick in that group will be selected. If you have more than one waiver claim to make, create a "Bid Group 2", etc.. If your first choice in the first round of the claim session is selected by another team ahead of you (based on seeding), you still maintain your position in the waiver order, but your second choice for that Bid Group or a second Bid Group player/position claim will be awarded as applicable.
How you would like to rank/place your selections must be shown in your Bid Group claims. Utilizing an arbitrary bid amount in $ (high to low) is an effective way to show how you rank your waiver requests.
There are as many rounds as there are teams wanting more than one player/position. The waiver wire session is essentially a mini-draft, using the power rank standings of the teams for the selection order in each round, using lowest to highest standing and repeating that order as necessary.
Used for first come/first served moves for either reserving/replacing injured players or unrestricted free agent add/drops. Transactions are submitted via the “Add/Drop” page on your Team page menu. Players dropped will not be available for pickup until the following week's Waiver Wire. No fees will be incurred for free agent moves.
Thursday Game Moves - If a player on a Thursday game needs to be moved (drop / IR), he must be dropped or reserved before the Thursday game starts. However, the added or injury replacement player does not need to be identified at that time, but can be added as late as 5 minutes before the respective replacement player’s game.
A player on the roster (lineup or bench) of a team involved in a Thursday game cannot be moved in the same week after the Thursday game is completed (just like a Saturday or Sunday player can't be moved before a Monday night game in the same week). Once their game has been played that week, a player will be locked and can't be moved until the next week, except in the case of later game IR activations and a benched replacement player (see below for more details).
2. INJURY MOVES - An owner that has a player listed as PHYSICALLY UNABLE TO PERFORM (PuP), INJURED RESERVE (IR), OUT (O), DOUBTFUL (D), QUESTIONABLE (Q), PROBABLE (P), or COVID (C) by either Real Time Sports (RTS) or NFL.com is entitled to reserve and replace the player. The player must have one of the above statuses in order to be reserved. The reserved injured player remains property of the owner. If a reserved player happens to be active for that week, the owner also has the right to either play the replacement player or the original reserved player. As noted above, in the situation where you have an IR'ed player in a later game (for example on Monday night) and his benched replacement has already played (for example Thursday or Sunday), the bench replacement can still be released if the IR player ends up being activated for the later game. This allows for more flexibility with late game IR status players. Since this move will have to be done by the Commish (since any player who has already played will be locked on your roster), you'll need to contact the Commish accordingly. No fees will be incurred for injury moves.
A reserved player must be taken off IR status once he records a performance stat (per our scoring system). You then have 2 options for handling injury replacement players:
1. Choose to re-activate the reserved player once he records a stat and the replacement player is then released back to the free agent pool (for that current week).
OR
2. Choose to retain the rights to the replacement player and the original reserved player is released back to the free agent pool (for that current week).
NOTE: You may not keep both and then drop another same-position player from the roster (in place of the original reserved player or the replacement player). They are essentially "tied together" and only one or the other is retained.
An owner must decide which option above he is choosing no later than 12:00 on Tuesday. This is to ensure that the player(s) is available in the current week's free agent pool. Emails, texts or phone calls can be used to alert the Commissioners with your intentions if you are unable do access the site. If no action is taken by the owner by 12:00 pm Tuesday, the replacement player will automatically be put back into the free agent pool for the current week.
Teams can drop/add another player to replace an IR replacement player, but the terms of his ownership are the same as the original replacement player. No fees will be incurred for these moves.
Suspended or Hold-out Players - A player under SUSPENSION (S) status or is HOLDING-OUT due to contract reasons cannot be reserved via IR and replaced during his suspension or hold-out. He can be dropped per regular Add/Drop move, otherwise a back-up player from your roster must be used in his place.
Bye Week IR Moves - A player with an injury status cannot be reserved/replaced via an injury move during his bye week. Injury moves can only be made for injured players during one of their active weeks. If an owner has 2 players at the same position coming up on the same bye week, he can choose to make an injury or free agent move the week before the bye week in question in order to ensure he will have a full active roster that next week.
3. TRADES - Trades will be reviewed and approved by the commissioners to ensure league integrity is maintained (i.e. no unrealistic "dumping" of players by a team). Once a team is officially eliminated from the championship playoffs (not making the top 5 in standings), they will not be allowed to make any trades for the remainder of that season. Fees will no longer be incurred for these moves.
4. REGULAR SEASON STANDINGS – Regular season will occur during weeks 1-15. Power rankings (weekly wins/losses vs. all the other teams) will be used to determine the standings and crown the league Regular Season Champion. Tie breaker for regular season standings will be the total points scored for the regular season.
5. HEAD-TO-HEAD DIVISIONS – A separate side game of weekly head-to-head match-ups (individual win/loss) will be tracked manually by the commissioner. Two divisions will be established (using the current year's draft order odd/even numbers) and the head-to-head schedule will be randomly generated from an online site. Each team will play divisional opponents twice (8 weeks), all non-divisional opponents once (5 weeks), and two additional non-divisional opponents once (2 weeks) for a total of 15 games.
$5.00 is also at stake for each team’s weekly match-up. A win is + $5.00 for the winning team and -$5.00 for the losing team. The total fantasy points scored for the week will be used to declare a winner. Tie breaker for division standings will be total points scored for the regular season. Division standings have no bearing on league final season standings. Weekly results and standings will be posted to the league home page.
The two Division winners will also face-off in a separate playoff during Weeks 16-17. Total fantasy points accumulated during the two playoff weeks will be used to determine the Division Champion. In the case of a tie, the tie breaker will be total season points accumulated through week 17.
6. PLAYOFFS – The League Championship playoffs will occur during weeks 16-17. The top 5 teams from the regular season power rank standings qualify for the playoffs. Power rankings (total wins/losses vs. the 4 other teams) for the 2 weeks will be used to determine the playoff standings and crown the League Champion (and trophy winner). In the case of a tie, the first tie breaker will be total points accumulated during the playoff weeks of 16-17. The second tie breaker will be total season points accumulated through week 17.
NOTE: The waiver wire priority for playoff week 17 will be based on points accumulated in week 16 (lowest has 1st priority).
7. TOILET BOWL – The Toilet Bowl will occur during weeks 16-17. The 5 teams not in the Championship playoffs will compete in the Toilet Bowl. Power rankings (wins/losses vs. the 4 other teams) for the 2 weeks will be used to determine the winner of the Toilet Bowl. In the case of a tie, the first tie breaker will be total points accumulated during the playoff weeks of 16-17. The second tie breaker will be total season points accumulated through week 17.
NOTE: Teams playing in the Toilet Bowl are not permitted to add players from the league free agent pool during the playoff weeks. However, they can still activate IR/replacement players as needed.
8. PAYOUTS – The league's total pot (minus money set aside for Division and Toilet Bowl winners) will be divided into 30 shares and will be distributed as follows:
Regular Season - The Top 5 teams in the power rank regular season standings will win payouts. 15 shares will cover these payouts.
Shares: 1st - 5; 2nd - 4; 3rd - 3; 4th - 2; 5th -1
Playoffs –The 5 teams in the playoffs will win payouts. 15 shares will cover these payouts.
Shares: 1st - 5; 2nd - 4; 3rd - 3; 4th - 2; 5th -1
Divisions – $150 will be set aside initially from the total pot for the two Division winners. Division Champion will win $100; the runner-up will win $50.
Toilet Bowl - $50 will be set aside initially from the total pot for the Toilet Bowl champion.
