NEW RULES (2020)

1-Team QB for this season 2020-2021. BUT you still draft the individual QB so that next year keepers won't be disrupted. For example when you draft Jarett Stidham you automatically have all N.E. QBs if Stidham gets Covid and no one can then draft Newton. This will save your team if your QB or QBS get covid. You can't keep whichever QB from that team you want, only the individual QB you draft. ELIMINATED IN 2021

3- All rushing yards regardless of position are worth 1pt/10yards
    All receiving yards regardless of position are worth 1pt/10yards
    RB receptions moved to 1pt/rec
 
4- Add Flex position to starting lineup replacing WR3.
 
5- Added 2 COVID IR Spots. No minimum time they have to spend on the list. Can be moved to this list when the player is not playing because of COVID or suspicion of COVID. Must come off COVID IR list when officially cleared to play. ELIMINATED IN 2021
 
6- D/ST TD pts lowered to 6 pts for 0 to 59 yd, 9 pts for 60 to 79 yd, 12 pts for 80 to 110 yd.
 
7- I took the Average for everyone's choice of weeks it takes to have an official winner (10.66) and will round it up to 11. So we have to have played thru week 11 to declare full 2020 NFFL Champion.
If we only make it thru 8-10 weeks we'll cut the fee to $50 ($200 for the Victory pt leader to that point, $25 per weekly high scorer and $100 for the website). ELIMINATED IN 2021

NEW RULES (2019)

The mandatory 3rd QB spot on the bench has been removed and a "Superflex" bench spot was added which can be filled by ANY POSITION. So Maximum's for each position will be moved up 1, except QBs (stays at 3, but minimum is now 2). So you can have 3 QBs or 5 RBs or 7 WRs or 3 TEs or 3 Ks or 3 DEFs. Only one of these! 
Be mindful at the draft to not draft 5 RBs AND 7 WRs or 3 TEs for example. I don't know if I can set it so that once you reach one of these maximums it will stop you from going over on another position once I raise the Maximums on several positions.

NFFL2 NEW RULES (2015)

Emergency waiver: after final pick-up week if you have no active players available. Ie. Week 16 you have 2 injured TEs you can pick up an emergency waiver TE to start but not keep after season. 

Limit on how many years in advance you can trade auction dollars away from: Only the 2 upcoming auctions you can trade; after the draft you can trade for auction money 2 drafts ahead. Ex: Predraft 2015 you can trade for 2015 and 2016 money. After the draft you can then only trade for 2016 and 2017 money.

 

NFFL2 NEW RULES (2014)

Auction $ set at $250 

The 2nd time a player is kept in a row his value goes up $5, unless he's traded during the season whereby which he stays at current value for the following season only. 

 

Keepers 

 5 keepers, total value takes away from your auction money at the beginning of the next draft. 

 

Free agency $ set at $150   

All money left over at draft, is gone and not added to your free agent budget. 

Free agency is a blind betting system just like past years. Ends between weeks 14-15. 

If a free agent is kept, his value will be the amount paid of the lowest starter at their position at the previous auction (i.e. 10th most expensive QB, 20th most expensive RB, 30th most expensive WR, 10th most expensive TE). So there's no need to hold back bids on your pickups, his value will be reasonable the following season. 

If you drop and pick up the same free agent in the same year, it does not revert back to year 1 and will continue as if you did not drop him. If he is dropped then picked up a full season later, then he can be considered as a first time pick up and all rules above again are in place 

The same rules applies if you don't keep a player and re-draft him, he will re-set to a Year A player. Incentive to put players back in the mix.  

 

 

 

Trades  

 

Max trades are allowed, with commissioner’s final approvalEnd between weeks 14-15. 

 

You are allowed to accumulate a maximum of $25 in auction money for the following year. 

 

If you trade a player during the season he will remain in that "contract" year for an additional year under the new owner (so a B Year player won't increase in value until after another full season).  I think this might encourage trading a bit more. 

 

If you trade a player away and then trade back for him the following year the above 1 year freeze does not apply. 

 

At the end of the season all players advance a year immediately, so trading in the offseason will NOT preclude a player from advancing one "contract" year. 

 

IR Spot 

 

Old IR rules still apply during the season, there is a 4 week IR spot and a full season spot. 

 

If a player is injured post-keeper and pre-auction you can designate him for a Full-Season IR and get all of his value back towards your budget, or 8-game IR and get half his worth back. These spots are in addition the regular season IR spots but can only be used in this special circumstance. 

 

Lineups 

 

To avoid tanking or negligent owners I'm proposing a commissioner veto power to change a lineup if one owner complains about another owners starting lineup.  If it is found that this 2nd owner either forgot or has no excuse for starting an injured player for example, I can make changes to their lineup hopefully before any scoring occurs shortly after 10am. 

 

Lineup grievances should be filed shortly after 10am on Sunday when possible. 

 

Scoring, Standings, and Payouts 

 

All other scoring options stay the same. 

 

Victory Point system is still in use, Tie-breaker is still PTS FOR, followed by PTS FOR HEAD-TO-HEAD. 

 

Payouts will remain the same as well.
