2013/2014 Season: The KHL added a FLEX position to the Starting Line Up in place of the third Wide Receiver Spot.  The Flex can be used to keep a third WR in your line ups OR you can play a 3rd Running Back OR 2nd Tight End.

 

     In addition to receiving one (1) free transaction this season, it will also be a free transaction to Drop/Add a player in the event that a player is Active and in your line up, but is cut from the team the day of that players game.  In that case, the Commish will help you select a replacement player to go in the line up for that weeks games.  Following that week, that "last minute" player can be treated like any other player.

 

2015:  PPR is the name of the game. Simple rule really... Add 1 point per reception for any Offensive Player.

 

2016:  the IR Holding Spots went from 2 up to 3.  There can be 3 total players on each team's IR list as long as they are listed by RTSports as Doubtful or Worse.

     The Knoxville Hurt Locker uses "Battle Buddies".  A battle buddy is the guy that can help you out in a pinch on Draft Day, in any event that you cannot draft your team and you need someone at a computer to help.  A battle buddy can also be the "hey can you set my line up" kind of friend in any such event as well.  The biggest reason for a battle buddy is so that Draft Day goes as smoothly as possible for everyone.

2017: Trading Picks & Trade Deadlines

Trading for Future Draft Picks IS a strategy but it comes with some guidance. The Highest Future Draft Pick anyone can trade for/away is a 4th Rounder. Sorry, you're not gonna be able to take advantage of an idiot like Bill O'Brien.

Also, the deadline for Trading Future Picks is Wk 10 of the Regular Season. The start of the MNF Game of Wk 10 is the end of Trading Future Picks each season.  Player Trading can continue up until the start of the MNF Game for Wk 14.

In the playoffs, there is only Add/Drop.

2018:  The Trade Committee is born.  There will be a committee of 3 owners that will vote to pass/deny trades, taking the responsibility away from just one individual.  Since these three owners have to all see and/or discuss each trade, it makes getting trades agreed upon quickly vital.

     Trades must be agreed upon a day in advance of the games in which potentially traded players are involved.  That gives the committee time to assess.  If the trade is agreed upon too close to the kick off of the games involved, then it will be processed for the following week.

2024: No More Transaction Fees!

Been thinking about this one for a while and it is time...

We're getting rid of Transaction Fees.  The Annual Entry Fee for the League is going up to $140.00 but there will be Zero Fees for Adds, for Drops, or for Trades either way.  The timeline for Transactions during the season will remain the same but none of these transactions will cost you a dime.

The raise in Entry will keep the Winnings the same so now every Team will either:

-break even

-make a couple of bucks

-make a lot of bucks

Unless you suck ass at this which is possible!
