2023 SHINGLEHOUSE FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE (SFFL)
RULES
FORMAT:
1. $70 Entry fee to be paid before draft. No transactions will be allowed by owner until fee is paid. RTSports ($79.95) and League Commissioner ($25).
2. Payback:Regular season: 1st place in each division - $25.00. Highest Regular Season Weekly Score - $20.
Playoffs:1st-$250 2nd-$125 3rd-$75 4th-$50 5th-$25
3. Win/loss/tie record determined by head-to-head weekly points scored and league average. Teams will get a win if they outscore the league average and a loss if they don’t. Ties will be recorded as ties and counted as .5.
4. RTSports.com will be the official source for player stats. All scoring protests must be filed before the following Sunday at 1pm.
5. Tie-breaker for division winners and playoff seeds: 1 - Total Points 2 - Head-to-head 3 - Coin Toss
6. Tie-breaker for playoff games will be head-to-head players individual points from highest to lowest until the tie is broken.
7. League Schedule and Playoff Format:
Week 1-13: Each team will play teams in their division twice and teams outside their division once.
Week 14: Division Rivalry Week - Teams from the East Division will play the team from the West Division in the same position in the division standings.
Seeds: Top 8 best records. 1st vs. 8th, 2nd vs. 7th, 3rd vs. 6th, 4th vs. 5th
Weeks 15, 16 and 17 will be used for Single-elimination playoffs
Week 17 will be "The Bowl" week.
Super Bowl - determine 1st and 2nd places
CBNC Bowl - determine 3rd and 4th places
Consolation Bowl - determine 5th and 6th places
Toilet Bowl - determine last place - Loser – party pizza for draft, Runner-up – case of beer
8. Playoff Champ will determine the draft contest for the following years’ draft order.
DRAFT
1. Based on a pre-season NFL pool, players pick where they want to draft from first place to last place in order.
2. Draft Order - Sine-wave method, first to last, last to first, etc.
3. Draft any position at any time.
4. Draft 18 players, 6 positions as follows: 2 -Quarterbacks, 5 - Running Backs, 5 - Wide Receivers, 2 - Tight Ends, 2 - Place Kickers, 2 - Team Defenses/Special Teams
ROSTER
1. Limited to 18 players, no more than original roster at any position.
2. Starting line-up must be submitted before 1pm Sunday unless there are early games - see #4.
3. Players involved in early games - owners must submit a partial line-up for players before game time.
4. No line-up submitted or not on time - owner starts previous week's line-up.
TRADES
1. Trade deadline - week #12, Sunday 1pm.
2. Any owner may bring any trade to a league vote if he feels the trade is being made to benefit another owner.
WAIVERS
Free Agent Acquisition Bidding (FAAB)
1. Each team will have $100 to bid on players for the year. Minimum bid will be $0.
2. Waivers will clear Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 1pm.
3. Free pickups from Saturday 1pm to Monday 9pm.
4. Released players will not be available until the following week starting Tuesday at 1pm.
5. Waiver deadline – None.
IR PLAYERS:
1. Each team will have 1 IR spot on their roster.
2. You can add players to the IR spot only if they are listed by the NFL as on IR.
3. Once they come off IR your roster will need to be modified by dropping a player or your roster will be illegal.
4. If a player comes back from IR and an owner does not release a player by the first game then that IR player will be released by the Commissioner and not be available as a FA until the following week.
