Rules specific to our league**
1. Roster Limit. The roster limit is a minimum of 9 players and a maximum of 18 players. An Owner cannot expand their roster by free agency. The Owners roster limit is set by the number of players drafted. For example, if you drafted 13 players an Owner cannot expand their roster to 14 players via free agency. Rosters may be expanded via trade. For example, an Owner may trade 1 player and receive 2 players.
Owners who violate this rule are subject to a $5.00 per week. An Owners roster must be at the correct limit at 11:59 am each Sunday.
2. Division winner determination. There 4 teams in each division. The team with the best record is the division winner.
If there is a 2-way tie, the tie breakers rules are as follows:
1.) Head to head record
2.) Best division record
3.) Most total points
4.) Coin flip or a WWE cage match
If there is a 3 or 4 way tie, the tie breaker rule are as follows:
1.) Best division record. For example, in a 4 way tie where 2 of the teams have a 4-2 division record and the other 2 teams are 2-4, the 2-4 teams are eliminated. The 4-2 teams advance to the next tie breaker.
2.) Most total points
3.) Coin flip between remaining tied teams with most points or a Battle Royale match (foot must touch the floor to be out)
3. Wild Card determination winner. The team with the best record after the division winners are determined is the wild card winner.
If there is a 2-way tie, the tie breaker is as follows:
1.) Head to Head record
2.) Best division record (if tied teams are in the same division)
3.) Most total points
4.) Coin flip or a no holds barred match
If there is a 3-way or more tie, the tie breaker is as follows:
1.) Most total points
2.) Coin flip between remaining tied teams with most points or a ladder match
4. Seeding for playoffs. Division winners will be seeded 1 thru 3. The team with the best record will be the number 1 seed. The team with the second best record will be number 2. The team with the third best record will be number 3.
If there is a 2-way tie the seeding will be based on head to head record.
If there is a 3-way tie, the tie breaker is as follows:
1.) Most total points
2.) Coin flip between remaining tied teams with most points or a falls count anywhere match
5. Playoffs. There are 3 divisions (Ho's, Johns and Pimps). Each division winner and one wild card team will complete in a 4 team tournament to determine the FFL Champion. In round one (week 15) the number 1 seed plays the wild card team who is the automatic number 4 seed regardless of record. The number 2 seed plays the number 3 seed. If either game ends in a tie the team with the best seed wins the game.
Round 2 is the championship game which occurs on week 16. The winner is the champion. If the game ends in a tie the teams will play again on week 17. If the week 17 game ends in a tie we have Co-Champions and the prize money will be split equally.
Remaining 8 teams will play for 5th place. The team who has the best combined score for weeks 15 and 16 wins 5th place. In case of a tie, the teams who are tied will play week 17. If a tie still exists after week 17 we have co-5th place winners and the prize money is split equally.
6. Prize money. The payout percentage for 1st place is 45%, 2nd place 30%, third place 15% and fourth place 10%. The 5th place winner is paid $60.00. $10.00 per week will be awarded to the team who has the most points in a regular season week. High week payouts are not used during the playoffs.
7. Fees. The league fee is $100.. There is a $2.00 per free agency move fee. $5.00 over the roster limit fee.
8. Free agency (see Free Agent Transaction below for more rules).
1.) A player picked up on free agency must be on the roster for a least one week. A player cannot be added and dropped in the same week.
2.) Waiver wire order is determined by worst record to best record. In the case of a tied record the team will the least amount of points will get the higher free agent claim position. In the case of tied points a coin flip will determine the order. Each Tuesday the Commissioner will establish the waiver wire order for the week.
9. Bart Rule. Draft is scheduled to start at 9:00am. If a team owner is not in attendance, that team will lose $5.00 in draft money starting at 9:05am, and every 5 minutes thereafter. Maximum loss of draft money is $25.00.
