By default you will be the commissioner for your newly-created league. Once some initial parameters have been set up you will be able to add new teams to your league and invite them to participate. If you register for a new account after the start of the NFL season, you will be able to enter all information (starting lineups, transactions, etc.) about the weeks you missed. You can always catch up!
