After you join or create a fantasy football league, you will have the opportunity to make changes to RealTime Fantasy Sports' default draft cheatsheet of players, ranked from best to worst.
It is recommended that prior to your draft, you customize your draft cheatsheet to rank the players by your preferences. If you do not customize your cheatsheet, your cheatsheet for the draft will be the player rankings from RealTime Fantasy Sports' free draft guide as they are listed at the time of your draft. You may customize your draft cheatsheet at anytime up to and even during your draft.
During the live draft your cheatsheet will be used as a fail-safe backup in case your time limit expires before you make a pick. In the event you should fail to make a pick in the time allowed for your pick, RealTime Fantasy Sports will automatically draft a player for you. The player will be the top ranked player on your draft cheatsheet. Players drafted automatically will be drafted from your cheatsheet in a manner that will fill out your team's starting lineup before drafting any bench players.
After the required 12th team has joined the league, the league will be locked in and the draft order will be generated. At this time all players will be notified the league is locked in and the draft order has been generated. If your league does not have the required 12 teams 48 hour prior to the schedule draft time, notification will be sent to all owners informing the league will be disbanded 24 hours prior to the schedule draft date and time if the league is not full. If your league is disbanded you will be able to join another league or create a new league. If your league becomes full with the mandatory 12 teams between 48 hours and 24 hours prior to the schedule draft date and time, the league will lock in and the draft order will be set at that time and all team owners notified.
The draft will be an S-style draft with the team picking last in the first round picking first in the second round and so on. For example,
- Round 1: Team1, Team2, Team3, Team4, Team5, Team6, Team7, Team8, Team9, Team10, Team11, Team12
- Round 2: Team12, Team11, Team10, Team9, Team8, Team7, Team6, Team5, Team4, Team3, Team2, Team1
- Round 3: Team1, Team2, Team3, Team4, Team5, Team6, Team7, Team8, Team9, Team10, Team11, Team12
- Round 4: Team12, Team11, Team10, Team9, Team8, Team7, Team6, Team5, Team4, Team3, Team2, Team1
Each team will have 120 seconds per pick to draft a player. There will be 15 rounds to your draft.

Roster Composition
Each team will consist of a roster of 15 players. Team owners are free to choose the player position mix of the players on their roster. There are no restrictions on the number of players at any position that may be on a team's roster. Owners are not required to have a minimum number of players at any position on their roster. For example an owner could choose not to have a kicker on their roster.
Weekly Lineups
The Contest uses a single starting lineup for each team per week. Team owners may change their starting lineups any time between Tuesday morning at 7:00am Eastern and 9:00pm Eastern on Monday of each NFL week. In week 1 of the NFL season, owners may set their starting lineup beginning immediately after their draft up until 9:00pm Eastern on Monday of week 1. Regardless of the deadline for setting a team's starting lineup a player cannot be promoted to a starter or benched after the scheduled kickoff of their game.
Each Team's starting lineup will consist of:
 |
- 9 Total Starters
- 1 Quarterback
- 2 Running Backs
- 3 Wide Receivers
- 1 Tight End
- 1 Defense/Special Teams
- 1 Kicker
|
In the interest of competition, between 12:01am and 6:00am on Sunday of each week of the NFL season, the system will automatically replace any starter with a bye on a roster with an alternate player from that same roster. At the same time the system will automatically fill in any missing starters from a team's lineup, if possible.

Waiver Wire
Free agents will be awarded using a prioritized waiver wire system. Team owners may select free agents
they wish acquire via the waiver wire on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during the season. Waiver wire award order will
be worst to first by each team's position in the standings.
Player requests must be submitted by 11:59pm Eastern each Tuesday night for award between midnight and 6:00am Eastern Wednesday
morning. Team owners will be awarded players in reverse order of standings, worst to first. Beginning with
the worst team in the league, each team owner will be award a single player. Then the second worst team in the league will be award one player, and so on.
After each team in the league has been awarded a maximum of one player, the process
will repeat beginning with the worst team in the league. This process will repeat until all player requests have
been evaluated. If a team makes no player request, that team will not be awarded any players.
Team owners may submit player requests for a second weekly waiver wire before 11:59pm Eastern each Wednesday night for award between midnight and 6:00am Eastern Thursday morning.
Free For All
Beginning each Thursday at noon Eastern through 12:59pm Sunday free agents will be available on a first-come first-serve basis.
Teams may pick up free agents at anytime during this free for all period. Team owners may not pick up players after kickoff their game in any week.
Protected Free Agents
In order to prevent collusion or coordinated drop trades, any player released from any roster via the waiver wire or the free for all free agent period shall remain a protected free agent until the first waiver wire of the following week. This means the player will not be available to be acquired by any team in the week the player was dropped. This applies only to players that have been on a team's roster for at least one fantasy week.
In a further effort to prevent collusion or unfair competition, if certain highly productive players are dropped they will become unavailable free agents for the duration of the season. Team owners will be allowed to drop and replace those players, but other team owners will not be allowed to acquire those players as free agents. Additionally, after week 10 of the season all dropped players will become unavailable free agents for the duration of the season. Team owners will be allowed to drop and replace those players, but other team owners will not be allowed to acquire those players as free agents.

Statistics Reporting
Scores and stats are updated immediately as they are received from our statistics provider (usually about every 3 minutes). Some events beyond RTFS' control can make this time longer. Thus, RealTime Fantasy Sports is not responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of the statistics.
Because the statistics are updated "live," some errors may occur. If so, statistical errors are usually corrected by our stats provider during the course of the NFL game, but may take up to 24 hours to be corrected. If an error occurs and is not corrected by our provider, RTFS will correct the stat ourselves, but only if it is overwhelmingly obvious that the stat is in error. If there is any doubt to the validity of the stat, RTFS will maintain the statistic given by its provider.
All stats for a given NFL week are deemed final at noon on Thursday of the next week. Even if the NFL changes a stat several weeks later, it will not be changed by RTFS. Nonetheless, RTFS still reserves the right to change any stat at any time for any unforeseen reason.
RealTime Fantasy Sports is not responsible for any inaccuracies, representations, statements, graphics or content of materials that are uploaded onto its servers and website from other vendors, including but not limited to the National Football League, Stats LLC., the Associated Press, and users, members, subscribers, customers or participants.

Regular Season
For all leagues beginning play in NFL week 1, the regular season for the league will last 14 weeks from week 1 to week 14. Each team will play its division opponents twice and non-division opponents once during the regular season. For leagues beginning play after week 1, the regular season will last through week 14. Each team will play its division opponents twice and a random selection of non-division opponents.
In the event that a regular season game ends in a tie, the points scored by each team's starting quarterback will be used to determine which team is declared the winner of the game. Should the starting quarterbacks for each team have the same number of points scored in the game, the game will be declared a tie in the standings.

The wildcard team will always be seeded #4, regardless of record. In the event two or more division champions have the same overall win-loss record, a total points scored will be used to determine playoff seeding. In the event that a semi-final game ends in a tie, the points scored by each team's starting quarterback will be used to determine which team advances to the league championship game. Should the starting quarterbacks for each team have the same number of points scored in the game, the team that scored the most total points during the regular season will advance to the league championship game.
