Carlos Martinez Jun 24 7:43pm ET

St. Louis Cardinals RHP Carlos Martinez is expected to take over most of the closer duties from injured RP Jordan Hicks (UCL), according to Rick Hummel of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Luke Weaver Jun 24 7:40pm ET

Arizona Diamondbacks starter Luke Weaver (arm) had a follow-up MRI on Monday that showed improvement in his pitching arm. Weaver felt discomfort during a shortened start on May 26 before being put on the injured list. He was ultimately diagnosed with multiple mild strains in his throwing arm, although, he thankfully avoided needing surgery. The improvement bodes well for the 25-year-old, but there is still no throwing program in place as of yet. Weaver is worthy of a stash if fantasy managers have space as he was dynamite for the Diamondbacks before getting hurt.

Jimmy Yacabonis Jun 24 7:30pm ET

Baltimore Orioles pitcher Jimmy Yacabonis will start Tuesday's game against the San Diego Padres. Yacabonis performed admirably as an opener against the Oakland Athletics on June 19, tossing two scoreless innings while striking out one batter. Despite the strong outing, Yacabonis has miniscule fantasy value and a 4.70 ERA through 23 innings this season. Let him toil on the waiver wire.

Ketel Marte Jun 24 7:23pm ET

Arizona Diamondbacks 2B Ketel Marte (groin) is back in the starting lineup and in his regular position Monday, June 24, against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Marte was pulled from the game Friday, June 21, due to a groin injury and didn't play either Saturday or Sunday.

Ketel Marte Jun 24 7:20pm ET

Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte (groin) is back in the starting lineup for Monday's game against Clayton Kershaw and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Marte missed the past two games with a left groin cramp. The 25-year-old has broken out in a big way this season, posting a .309 average to go along with 20 home runs, 51 RBI, and 51 runs scored. Marte is one of the more potent bats in the Diamondbacks' lineup, so ensure he returns to fantasy lineups for tonight's contest.

Marcus Stroman Jun 24 7:13pm ET

Toronto Blue Jays SP Marcus Stroman said Monday, June 24, he's up to the challenge of the pressure in New York City if he were to be dealt to the New York Yankees. 'I am built for this. I mean anybody can say whatever, but I am built for the big lights and the moment. I am not scared of it. I have never been. I'll take that ball each and every time with the pressure on it. I love it,' Stroman said.

Brandon Crawford Jun 24 6:50pm ET

San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Colorado Rockies. Crawford is getting a routine day off here, but should be back in the lineup next game. Donovan Solano will draw the start at shortstop and bat eighth versus righty Jon Gray. Solano doesn't have enough upside to warrant using in DFS contests.

    From RotoBaller

Jarrod Dyson Jun 24 6:50pm ET

Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Jarrod Dyson (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. This is a routine day off for the veteran speedster against the left-handed starter. Ketel Marte will draw the start in center field and bat second versus lefty Clayton Kershaw. Marte is hitting over .500 in his last seven games, so it's hard to bench him, even against an elite pitcher like Kershaw.

    From RotoBaller

Brandon Morrow Jun 24 6:40pm ET

Chicago Cubs relief pitcher Brandon Morrow (elbow) has thrown two successful bullpen session and will throw a third session on Tuesday. Morrow has been sidelined since July 15 of last year with various elbow issues. There is no timetable if Morrow will return to the big leagues anytime soon or at all this season and he should be left on the waiver wire.

    From RotoBaller

Fernando Rodney Jun 24 6:40pm ET

Washington Nationals relief pitcher Fernando Rodney has been recalled from the minors on Monday. Rodney is expected to join the team prior to Tuesday's game against the Miami Marlins. He was released by the Oakland Athletics after posting a 9.42 ERA in 17 relief appearances. The Nationals are desperate for relief help, but Rodney hasn't done much to make him a valuable asset. He belongs on the waiver wire until he can prove his value.

    From RotoBaller

Adbert Alzolay Jun 24 6:40pm ET

Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Adbert Alzolay is scheduled to make his first major league start against the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday. There were rumors of this happening over the weekend, but it's now official. Alzolay made his debut last Thursday against the New York Mets. He allowed one hit during his four innings of relief work versus the Mets. The Cubs are expected to use a six-man rotation for the foreseeable future. Alzolay is worth a look in DFS contests and should be picked up in most mixed leagues.

    From RotoBaller

Kyle Hendricks Jun 24 6:40pm ET

Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks (shoulder) threw 15 pitches on Monday. Hendricks has been sidelined since June 15th with right shoulder inflammation, but Cubs president Theo Epstein said that Hendricks could return near the All-Star break. Prospect Adbert Alzolay has replaced Hendricks in the rotation and is an intriguing pickup in all formats.

    From RotoBaller

Adam Haseley Jun 24 6:30pm ET

Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Adam Haseley (groin) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with Double-A on Monday. Haseley had a short stint with the Phillies before going down with a left groin strain earlier this month. He shouldn't need too many games in the minors, and should be back to playing some outfield in Philly soon.

    From RotoBaller

Rafael Devers Jun 24 6:30pm ET

Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers (hamstring) is back in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Chicago White Sox. He tweaked his hamstring last Wednesday and hasn't been in the lineup since then. It appears that Devers doesn't need a rehab outing and he'll start on Monday. Devers will play third base and bat cleanup versus righty Lucas Giolito. He was hot with the bat before the injury, so hopefully he can keep that going.

    From RotoBaller

Jay Bruce Jun 24 6:30pm ET

Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Jay Bruce (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the New York Mets. This is just a routine day off for the lefty slugger against the left-handed starter. Scott Kingery will bat leadoff and play left field versus lefty Steven Matz. Kingery's bat has slowed down over the last week, but he's still a reliable bat to plug into fantasy lineups.

    From RotoBaller

Edwin Encarnacion Jun 24 6:20pm ET

New York Yankees first baseman Edwin Encarnacion (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. This appears to be a routine day off for the veteran slugger. The Yankees roster is loaded, so fantasy owners will just need to check lineups daily to see the changes. DJ LeMahieu will bat leadoff and play first base versus righty Aaron Sanchez. LeMahieu is a reliable bat and should be strongly considered for DFS contests.

    From RotoBaller

Aaron Judge Jun 24 6:20pm ET

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Judge has not collected a hit since returning from the injured list. However, there is no injury concern here, but the Yankees want to be cautious and give Judge some rest. Brett Gardner will play left field and bat ninth versus righty Aaron Sanchez. Gardner does not have enough upside to use in DFS contests.

    From RotoBaller

Asdrubal Cabrera Jun 24 6:13pm ET

Texas Rangers SS Asdrubal Cabrera had his four-game suspension for throwing some equipment in the direction of home plate umpire Bill Miller decreased to three games Monday, June 24. Cabrera will start serving the punishment Tuesday, June 25, over a three-game series against the Detroit Tigers.

Jake Bauers Jun 24 6:13pm ET

Cleveland Indians 1B Jake Bauers (ankle) was scratched from the lineup Monday, June 24, due to a left ankle sprain. He'll be replaced in left field by 2B Mike Freeman.

Mike Freeman Jun 24 6:13pm ET

Cleveland Indians 1B Jake Bauers (ankle) was scratched from the lineup Monday, June 24, due to a left ankle sprain. He'll be replaced in left field by 2B Mike Freeman.
