Christian Arroyo Oct 19 10:40pm ET

Boston Red Sox infielder Christian Arroyo knocked a two-run homer in Boston's 12-3 rout of the Houston Astros in Game 3 of the ALCS Monday. For the game he went 1-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored. Arroyo has recorded a hit in three straight games. Any offense from him is a bonus for the club, as Jose Iglesias was a major contributor down the stretch of the regular season but is ineligible for the playoffs. Arroyo is unlikely to be a fantasy priority in 2022.

Hunter Renfroe Oct 19 10:30pm ET

Boston Red Sox outfielder Hunter Renfroe didn't record a hit in Monday's ALCS Game 3 victory over the Houston Astros, but he did contribute two walks, two runs, and a stolen base in four plate appearances. Renfroe has not enjoyed a strong postseason thus far, with just seven hits in 31 at-bats. He's doubled twice, scored four times, and driven in just one run. He was even pinch-hit for with Danny Santana in a big spot in Game 1. Renfroe was a major part of Boston's regular-season success, but fantasy managers will want to take note of his usage down the stretch.

Christian Vazquez Oct 19 10:30pm ET

Boston Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez has found his offensive game at the right time, as he had another strong playoff performance in Boston's 12-3 ALCS Game 3 victory over the Houston Astros Monday. Vazquez went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. He now has three multi-hit performances in his last six games. After finishing the season with a .659 OPS in 138 games this year, this could be a good sign for his future fantasy value.

Rafael Devers Oct 19 10:20pm ET

Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers tacked on a home run in the eighth inning of Monday's 12-3 victory over the Houston Astros in Game 3 of the ALCS. He also walked and scored two runs in five plate appearances. Devers now has a hit in seven straight games, with four homers in that span. He's driven in 25 runs in 24 career postseason games. There aren't many players above him on draft boards heading into the 2022 fantasy season.

    From RotoBaller

    J.D. Martinez Oct 19 10:20pm ET

Boston Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez continued his hot hitting in Game 3 of the ALCS Monday, going 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, two RBI, and two runs scored. Martinez has now recorded 11 hits in 27 postseason at-bats this season with three homers, 10 RBI, and four runs scored. He seems to have regained some balance and timing at the plate since injuring his ankle tripping over second base in the season finale, and fantasy managers have to be wondering if he should do so intermittently during the 2022 season.

    From RotoBaller

Eduardo Rodriguez Oct 19 10:10pm ET

Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez accomplished a rare feat in Game 3 Monday against the Houston Astros, throwing a quality start in the postseason. He lasted six innings, allowing three runs on five hits and no walks with seven strikeouts. He also took his first career postseason win in his 11th appearance. Rodriguez lines up for a potential Game 7 should the series extend that far. This was one of his most dominant appearances of the season, and fantasy managers should take note heading into 2022.

Kyle Schwarber Oct 19 10:10pm ET

Boston Red Sox first baseman/outfielder Kyle Schwarber hit Boston's third grand slam in two days in Game 3 of the ALCS against the Houston Astros on Monday. He smacked a 3-0 pitch over the wall to put Boston up 4-0, a lead they never relinquished in a 12-3 victory. It was his only hit in four at-bats. Schwarber is a perennially strong playoff performer, and he now has three homers, six RBI, eight runs scored, and a steal in 34 at-bats this postseason. He'll be a major boon to MLB and fantasy rosters next season wherever he ends up.

Chas McCormick Oct 19 5:30pm ET

Houston Astros outfielder Chas McCormick is in the lineup for Game 4 of the American League Championship Series. The center fielder returns to the lineup after starting Game 3 on the bench. McCormick hit .257 with a .319 on-base percentage, 14 home runs, and four stolen bases in 320 plate appearances during the regular season. He's enjoyed a productive postseason so far, collecting five hits and a pair of walks in 16 plate appearances. McCormick is hitting eighth against Boston Red Sox right-hander Nick Pivetta on Tuesday.

Julio Urias Oct 19 5:30pm ET

The Los Angeles Dodgers plan to start Julio Urias on Wednesday for Game 4 of the National League Championship Series against the Atlanta Braves. It would be Urias' second appearance of the series after throwing an inning out of the bullpen during Game 2. The left-hander allowed three hits and a pair of runs in that inning. Prior to that inning, Urias had given up just four earned runs in his last 20.1 innings dating back to the end of the regular season.

    From RotoBaller

Jose Siri Oct 19 5:30pm ET

Houston Astros outfielder Jose Siri isn't in the lineup for Game 4 of the American League Championship Series. Siri previously started Houston's Game 3 loss in center field, going hitless in three plate appearances. The outfielder hit .304 with a .347 on-base percentage, four home runs, and three stolen bases in 49 plate appearances during the regular season. Instead, Houston will go with Chas McCormick in center field on Tuesday against the Boston Red Sox and right-hander Nick Pivetta. McCormick is batting eighth.

    From RotoBaller

Chris Taylor Oct 19 5:10pm ET

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Chris Taylor is starting in left field on Tuesday for the third game of the National League Championship Series against the Atlanta Braves. Taylor started Game 2 at third base but is back in the outfield for a matchup with the Atlanta Braves and right-hander Charlie Morton. He's batting eighth for Los Angeles. The veteran is off to a productive start in the series against Atlanta, having reached base five times in the first two games. What's more, Taylor has hit two doubles and stole a pair of bases. The 31-year-old has a hit in three career plate appearances against Morton.

    From RotoBaller

AJ Pollock Oct 19 5:00pm ET

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder AJ Pollock isn't in the starting lineup for Game 3 of the National League Championship Series. The outfielder hit .297 with a .355 on-base percentage, 21 home runs, and nine stolen bases in 422 plate appearances during the regular season. The 33-year-old hit a double and scored a run in four plate appearances in Game 1 and went hitless in Game 2. He has struck out three times during the series. The Dodgers will instead go with Mookie Betts, Gavin Lux, and Chris Taylor from right to left in the outfield against the Atlanta Braves and right-hander Charlie Morton.

    From RotoBaller

Eduardo Rodriguez Oct 17 9:20pm ET

Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez is expected to start Game 3 of the ALCS against the Houston Astros in Boston on Monday. Rodriguez made two starts in the Division Series against the Rays, throwing 6 2/3 innings and allowing four runs on five hits and two walks with seven strikeouts combined. He was much sharper in the second outing, throwing five solid innings. Manager Alex Cora will be hoping for similar length against a tough Houston lineup, though he won't hesitate to have a quick hook should Rodriguez falter.

    From RotoBaller

Kike Hernandez Oct 17 9:10pm ET

Boston Red Sox utility man Enrique Hernandez continued his record-setting run in Game 2 of the ALCS against the Houston Astros, going 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a hit-by-pitch and two runs scored in the 9-5 victory. He has produced a 1.608 OPS with five homers, nine RBI and nine runs scored in 32 at-bats in the postseason. There's nobody hotter than Hernandez right now, and he may be playing himself up 2022 draft boards for fantasy managers.

    From RotoBaller

    J.D. Martinez Oct 17 9:10pm ET

Boston Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez got Game 2 started off on the right foot Saturday, as he delivered a grand slam in the top of the first inning. He also singled in five at-bats. The former Astro has a 1.112 OPS with two homers and eight RBI through his first 23 at-bats of the postseason. He should be in the lineup batting fifth or sixth every day the rest of the way.

    From RotoBaller

Rafael Devers Oct 17 9:10pm ET

Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers (forearm) saw teammate J.D. Martinez deliver a grand slam in the first inning of Game 2, and he followed up with a slam of his own in the top of the second. Devers also walked and scored a run in five plate appearances. He's gone 9-for-29 with three homers, 10 RBI, and seven runs scored this postseason, which is especially impressive considering he's been dealing with a sore forearm. It doesn't seem to be slowing him down at all, and he isn't expected to miss any time despite appearing to aggravate it on a missed swing.

    From RotoBaller

Nathan Eovaldi Oct 17 9:00pm ET

Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi took the win in Game 2 of the ALCS against the Houston Astros, throwing 5 1/3 innings and allowing three runs on five hits and one walk with three strikeouts in the 9-5 victory. Eovaldi provided some much-needed length after manager Alex Cora deployed eight pitchers in a Game 1 loss. Eovaldi now has a 2.37 ERA and 0.84 WHIP over nine career postseason appearances. He lines up to make at least one more start in the series.
