Giancarlo Stanton Jun 15 5:10pm ET

New York Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton is back in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Stanton wasn't a member of the starting lineup in each of the last two games, given that the Yankees were playing in a National League park, though he'll be back to serve as the designated hitter and will bat fourth against Blue Jays' lefty Hyun-Jin Ryu. Fantasy managers need to make sure he's active, as Stanton is currently 6-for-16 with three home runs, a double, and eight RBI in his last four games.

Aaron Judge Jun 15 5:00pm ET

New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge (back) has returned to the lineup for Tuesday's series opener against the Toronto Blue Jays. Judge missed Sunday's game due to back spasms, which reportedly popped up during the first game against the Philadelphia Phillies. The 29-year-old slugger will start in right field and bat second against Blue Jays' lefty Hyun-Jin Ryu. Judge is batting .289 with 15 homers, 35 RBI, and a .920 OPS this season.

Michael Kopech Jun 15 4:50pm ET

Chicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa said on Tuesday that pitcher Michael Kopech (hamstring) will throw off of the mound prior to tonight's game. Kopech has been sidelined since being placed on the 10-day injured list on May 31 with a Grade 1 strain of his left hamstring. More should be known how his progress and timeline after he goes through mound work on Tuesday. Kopech has mostly worked out of the bullpen, but has also made three starts this season. Regardless of the role, Kopech has been dominant this season with a 1.72 ERA to go along with 45 strikeouts in just 31 1/3 innings.

Patrick Wisdom Jun 15 4:40pm ET

Chicago Cubs infielder Patrick Wisdom will rest on Tuesday evening versus the New York Mets. Wisdom has been scorching hot since his promotion on May 25 and is hitting .333 with nine home runs, 13 RBI and one stolen base in his 54 at-bats. Wisdom should eventually come back down to earth, but managers should continue to ride his hot bat. Infielder Sergio Alcantara will replace Wisdom in the lineup and bat eighth versus Taijuan Walker. Alcantara is a dart throw in DFS on Tuesday.

Corey Dickerson Jun 15 4:30pm ET

Miami Marlins outfielder Corey Dickerson (undisclosed) is going to be placed on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. The injury "does not look promising" according to manager Don Mattingly, who added that "even the best-case scenario's not great." It sounds like Dickerson could be out for a long time, giving Jesus Sanchez a shot to take over as the team's left fielder. Dickerson's MRI in St. Louis apparently showed a significant injury, but the team has not announced what the injury is at this point. With all the uncertainty and below average play this season anyway, Dickerson can be dropped in most formats.

Javier Baez Jun 15 4:30pm ET

Chicago Cubs shortstop Javier Baez (thumb) will return to the lineup on Tuesday versus New York Mets. Baez left Saturday's contest early after reaggravating his thumb. Baez sat out Sunday, but did pinch-hit on Monday. Baez will bat third in his return versus Taijuan Walker. Baez has been having a very good year with a .235 batting average to go along with 14 home runs, 40 RBI and nine stolen bases. Managers should start him with him confidence when he is healthy.

Yoan Moncada Jun 15 4:20pm ET

Chicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada (illness) will miss his second straight game with a cold and congestion on Tuesday versus the Tampa Bay Rays. Manager Tony La Russa said on Monday that the club hopes that Moncada won't be out long and that they hope to have him back soon. With Moncada sidelined, infielder/outfielder Leury Garcia will play third base and bat seventh versus Shane McClanahan. Garcia doesn't offer much upside as a long term play, but he has hit .300 over the past two weeks with seven RBI and should see regular at-bats with second baseman Nick Madrigal (hamstring) undergoing season-ending surgery on Tuesday.

    From RotoBaller

Ernie Clement Jun 15 4:10pm ET

Cleveland Indians infielder Ernie Clement will play second base and bat seventh for the Tribe's Tuesday night tilt against the Baltimore Orioles. Clement was recalled over the weekend after the Indians sent Triston McKenzie down to AAA to work on his craft. While Clement is playing second base, Cesar Hernandez will still be leading off and will DH in this one. Clement currently has no fantasy relevance and should be left on the waiver wire.

Eli Morgan Jun 15 4:03pm ET

Cleveland Indians RHP Eli Morgan was recalled from Class AAA Columbus on Tuesday, June 15. INF Owen Miller was optioned to Columbus in a corresponding move.

Austin Pruitt Jun 15 3:43pm ET

Houston Astros RHP Austin Pruitt (elbow) was sent on a rehab assignment to Class A Fayetteville on Tuesday, June 15.

Max Scherzer Jun 15 3:43pm ET

Washington Nationals RHP Max Scherzer (groin) was placed on the 10-day injured list with groin inflammation Tuesday, June 15 - retroactive to June 12.

Rogelio Armenteros Jun 15 3:43pm ET

Washington Nationals RHP Justin Miller had his contract selected from Class AAA Rochester on Tuesday, June 15. The Nationals also designated RHP Rogelio Armenteros for assignment.

Mike Brosseau Jun 15 3:43pm ET

Tampa Bay Rays RHP Tyler Glasnow (elbow) was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right elbow sprain Tuesday, June 15. Tampa Bay also recalled 2B Michael Brosseau from Class AAA Durham.

Tyler Glasnow Jun 15 3:43pm ET

Tampa Bay Rays RHP Tyler Glasnow (elbow) was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right elbow sprain Tuesday, June 15. Tampa Bay also recalled 2B Michael Brosseau from Class AAA Durham.

Tyler Glasnow Jun 15 3:40pm ET

Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow (elbow) has been diagnosed with a partial UCL tear in his right elbow, according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times. Glasnow left his start on Monday night due to what was originally announced as right elbow inflammation, but an MRI on Tuesday morning discovered the partial tear. Obviously this is a blow for fantasy managers, as Glasnow has been having a great season so far by going 5-2 with a 2.66 ERA and 123 strikeouts in 88 innings of work. There's no timetable for Glasnow yet, as the decision will need to be made as to whether he attempts to rehab and return this season, or if he opts for season-ending surgery. Managers can look at Zac Gallen as a potential example of what to expect with Glasnow, as Gallen has not pitched since May 7 with a partial UCL tear, but he is just now getting close to a rehab assignment. Managers should monitor this situation closely over the next couple days for further updates.

Yordan Alvarez Jun 15 3:10pm ET

Houston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez is swinging a hot stick over the last week or so heading into Tuesday's action against the Rangers. Alvarez is slashing .346/.469/.654 with two home runs, six runs scored and seven runs batted in over his last seven games. As long as the young slugger is healthy and in the lineup, good things will happen and is slashing .327/.426/.636 with runners in scoring position. Alvarez can help fantasy rosters in any format through the rest of this week.

    From RotoBaller

Cole Hamels Jun 15 3:10pm ET

Free-agent veteran starting pitcher Cole Hamels continues to throw off a mound and is building up every day, although he has not scheduled a showcase yet for interested teams. Hamels missed most of last season while battling a lingering shoulder injury, but he appears to be healthy now and could be a big midseason pickup for a contending team in need of starting pitching depth in the second half of the season. The 37-year-old left-hander made just one start for the Atlanta Braves in 2020, allowing three earned runs while striking out two and walking one in 3 1/3 innings in a loss to the Baltimore Orioles. There won't be much streaming upside with Hamels at this stage of his career, but that will depend on the matchups and his potential landing spot.

Yuli Gurriel Jun 15 3:00pm ET

Houston Astros first baseman Yuli Gurriel is enjoying a fantastic month of June heading into Tuesday's game against the A's. Gurriel is slashing an impressive .381/.440/.643 with five extra-base hits, nine runs batted in and nine runs scored through the first 12 games in June. The 37-year-old is making a strong All-Star case right now and is a dynamite DFS play when the Astros play at night. Through 39 night games, Gurriel is slashing .372/.440/.621 with seven home runs, 15 doubles and 30 runs batted in when the sun goes down. Now is the time to get Gurriel into fantasy lineups the rest of this week.
