Mitch White Jun 20 3:40pm ET

Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Mitch White was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday, according to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register. White has posted a 3.77 ERA and 20.6 percent strikeout rate over 14 1/3 innings this season, but has not been a play even in SV/HLD formats as he has two blown saves and zero holds on the year. To replace him, the Dodgers recalled Edwin Uceta, who was 0-2 with a 3.55 ERA and 24.5 percent strikeout rate over 12 2/3 innings. He has not recorded a hold either this season, so his fantasy value is also virtually non-existent at this point.

Pablo Lopez Jun 20 3:40pm ET

Miami Marlins starting pitcher Pablo Lopez was excellent on Saturday, allowing only one hit in seven innings of work, striking out seven without allowing a walk. Lopez faced just one batter above the minimum, throwing 93 pitches, 63 for strikes. He kept the Cubs hitters off balance all afternoon and was able to blow some pitches by them too, touching 97 on the radar gun several times. Lopez was coming off a rough start, but found another gear in this one and could have even more upside if he can keep reaching that kind of velocity going forward.

Daulton Varsho Jun 20 3:30pm ET

Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Daulton Varsho was recalled from Triple-A Reno on Sunday to replace catcher Carson Kelly, who was placed on the 10-day injured list with a fractured right wrist, the team announced on Twitter. Varsho struggled a bit in his stint with Arizona earlier this year, slashing .171/.227/.244 across 19 games, but at Triple-A he is slashing .313/.368/.750 with nine homers, two steals, 25 RBI and 18 runs scored over 18 games. He's back in the lineup for Sunday's finale with the Dodgers, where he will bat seventh against Tony Gonsolin. If he does well in this first game back, managers may want to take a look into scooping him off the waiver-wire in deeper formats.

Will Smith Jun 20 3:20pm ET

Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith will rest on Sunday versus the Arizona Diamondbacks. Smith had a nice game on Saturday, but will have Sunday afternoon off with a quick turnaround. Smith is having a nice season and is hitting .261 with seven home runs and 23 RBI. Smith will be replaced in the lineup by backup catcher Austin Barnes. Barnes will bat eighth and is hitting .219 on the season with two home runs and 14 RBI. Barnes is a dart throw against Andy Young in DFS on Sunday.

Fernando Tatis Jr. Jun 20 3:20pm ET

San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (shoulder) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday afternoon's matchup with the Reds. Tatis exited Saturday's game with a shoulder injury after diving for a ball, and it was the same shoulder that he suffered a subluxation on earlier this year that sent him to the injured list. Managers should consider him day-to-day for now, and continue to keep an eye out for updates on his condition. In the meantime, Ha-Seong Kim is getting the start at shortstop and batting seventh against Cincinnati.

Corey Seager Jun 20 3:20pm ET

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said on Sunday that shortstop Corey Seager (hand) is expected to begin a rehab assignment on either Friday or Saturday. Roberts wasn't sure where Seager would go on his assignment and he also didn't commit to a timeframe of how long Seager will be on his assignment. The positive news is that Seager is trending towards his return and he will be a big boost to managers. The upcoming free agent is hitting .265 with four home runs and 22 RBI on the season. Middle infielder Gavin Lux will shift back to second base when Seager returns and there should be less playing for guys like infielder/outfielder Zach McKinstry, infielder Matt Beaty and second baseman Andy Burns.

Mookie Betts Jun 20 3:10pm ET

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts will get a scheduled day off on Sunday versus the Arizona Diamondbacks. Betts has been underperforming this season, but he has been hitting .300 with two home runs and five RBI over the last week. Betts has also dealt with injuries this season and that could be a big reason for his numbers slipping this year. Betts for the season is hitting .251 with eight home runs, 26 RBI and six stolen bases. Outfielder Steven Souza Jr. will replace Betts in the lineup and bat sixth versus Andy Young. The veteran hit a home run in Friday's start and is a dart throw in DFS on Sunday afternoon.

Matt Peacock Jun 20 2:20pm ET

Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Matt Peacock allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out three in five innings of work against the Dodgers on Saturday. Peacock has been struggling in June, as he has lost four straight starts and has posted a 6.61 ERA with nine strikeouts in 16 1/3 innings of work this month. This month has now brought his season numbers to a 2-5 record and 5.28 ERA with 30 strikeouts in 44 1/3 innings of work. He had a couple solid starts in late May and looked like a potential streaming option, but until he turns things around managers can leave him on the waiver-wire.
