Bobby Dalbec Jun 20 12:20am ET

Boston Red Sox first baseman Bobby Dalbec continued his hot streak Saturday, going 3-for-3 with a home run, a triple, three RBI, and two runs scored from the ninth spot in the lineup. It was his ninth home run of the season. Over his last seven games, Dalbec has slashed .360/.429/.880 with three home runs, raising his OPS 92 points in that span. If there's any concern amidst this promising run, it's that Dalbec has still struck out in 10 of 26 plate appearances in that span. He's a tantalizing, but streaky, fantasy option.

Kike Hernandez Jun 20 12:20am ET

Boston Red Sox utility man Kike Hernandez reached base three times Saturday, going 1-for-2 with two walks and two runs scored from the eighth spot in the lineup. Hernandez has predominantly batted leadoff, but he's struggled to a .227/.288/.372 slash line with five home runs, 33 runs scored, 16 RBI, and one steal on the year. If he sticks towards the bottom of order, his one solid fantasy contribution, his runs total, will likely diminish. He belongs on the waiver wire.

    J.D. Martinez Jun 20 12:10am ET

Boston Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez hit his 14th home run of the year Saturday, going 1-for-4 against the Kansas City Royals. The two-run shot came in the fifth inning off Royals starter Brad Keller, and was Martinez's 100th home run as a member of the Red Sox. He now has a nine-game hit streak, but has posted only a .685 OPS with two home runs in June. Fantasy managers will hope the power performance picks back up to the level of April, when he swatted nine round-trippers.

Carson Kelly Jun 20 12:00am ET

Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Carson Kelly left Saturday's game after being hit on his right wrist by pitcher Walker Buehler. It is undetermined the seriousness of Kelly's injury, and he will most likely have to have some tests completed before returning to the Diamondbacks lineup. The six-year veteran has been having a pretty solid season carrying a .260 batting average with eight home runs and 26 RBI. Hopefully, the Arizona catcher will not be out for an extended period as his potential injury could impact fantasy manager's rosters in a big way.

    From RotoBaller

Martin Perez Jun 20 12:00am ET

Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Martin Perez threw five strong innings Saturday, bouncing back after two rough starts in which he threw 3 1/3 innings combined. He allowed just one run on three hits and two walks with three strikeouts to earn his fifth win of the season. Perez now had a middling 4.32 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and 57 strikeouts in 66 2/3 innings. He's a streaming option for fantasy purposes.

    From RotoBaller

Framber Valdez Jun 19 11:40pm ET

Houston Astros starting pitcher Framber Valdez turned in seven solid frames for his club Saturday against the White Sox. Valdez allowed six hits and struck out five while walking two Chicago batters. The 27-year-old has pitched in 25 1/3 innings producing 1.42 ERA and has struck 24 opposing batters out. Valdez is pitching very well lately, and he would be a massive addition to any fantasy manager's pitching rotation.

Carson Kelly Jun 19 11:33pm ET

Arizona Diamondbacks C Carson Kelly (wrist) exited against the Los Angeles Dodgers after being hit by a pitch on the right wrist Saturday, June 19.

    Michael A. Taylor Jun 19 11:30pm ET

Kansas City Royals outfielder Michael A. Taylor produced a single Saturday in a 7-1 loss to the Red Sox. Taylor ended up going 1-for-4 at the plate. He now has hits in his last three contests. The outfielder is batting .233 to go along with five home runs and 22 RBI. He stepped to the plate 227 times in 2021. Despite success at the dish in his last three games, Taylor, during his previous seven games, carries a .148 batting average and has struck out 12 times.

    From RotoBaller

Austin Gomber Jun 19 11:23pm ET

Updating a previous report, Colorado Rockies LHP Austin Gomber (forearm) exited his start against the Milwaukee Brewers with left forearm tightness Saturday, June 19.

Fernando Tatis Jr. Jun 19 11:23pm ET

Updating a previous report, San Diego Padres SS Fernando Tatis Jr. (shoulder) did not suffer a serious shoulder injury against the Cincinnati Reds Saturday, June 19, and is considered day-to-day, according to manager Jayce Tingler.

Carlos Correa Jun 19 11:10pm ET

Houston Astros Carlos Correa went 1-for-3 with a home run Saturday as his club defeated the Chicago White Sox 7-3. The shortstop has rounded the bases 13 times and has 38 RBI in 2021. Correa has been on a tear lately, with 13 hits in the last ten contests. If one is lucky to have Correa in their fantasy lineup, expect big things from him for the rest of the season and beyond.

    From RotoBaller

Jose Ruiz Jun 19 11:03pm ET

Chicago White Sox RHP Jose Ruiz (knee) exited against the Houston Astros with discomfort in his right knee Saturday, June 19.

Lance Lynn Jun 19 10:50pm ET

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Lance Lynn struggled in Saturday's loss versus the Houston Astros. Lynn has been excellent this season, but allowed seven hits, six runs (five earned), one walk and struck out six over four innings this evening against a tough Astros offense. Even with the rough performance, Lynn still owns an impressive 2.02 ERA and is now 7-3. Lynn will look to get back in the win column versus the Seattle Mariners in a favorable matchup on Saturday.

    From RotoBaller

Austin Gomber Jun 19 10:50pm ET

Colorado Rockies starting pitcher Austin Gomber exited Saturday's contest after two frames with an undisclosed injury. During his short outing, he gave up four hits and two runs against Milwaukee. Before going into Saturday's game, the 27-year-old had six wins and eight losses with a 3.54 ERA. This potential setback could be a big blow to Colorado and fantasy gamers who have Gomber in their lineup since he was 3-0 in June before today's game.

    From RotoBaller

Whit Merrifield Jun 19 10:40pm ET

Kansas City Royals speedster Whit Merrifield went 1-for-3 with a walk and three stolen bases in a loss to the Red Sox Saturday. Merrifield already has swiped 20 bags in 2021. The 32-year-old veteran is batting .272 with five home runs, 38 RBI, and 41 runs scored. He leads the whole major league in stolen bases and is tenth in hits in the American League. Hopefully, for fantasy managers who have Merrifield rostered, he will continue his torrid pace on the base path and at the plate.

    From RotoBaller

Cody Bellinger Jun 19 10:30pm ET

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger (hamstring) played in a simulated game on Saturday. Max Muncy (oblique) also played in a simulated game on Saturday. The theme of Bellinger's season has been injuries as he's only recorded 71 plate appearances with a .226 batting average, one home run, 12 runs, and 10 RBI. His appearance in the simulated game this weekend is a step in the right direction towards being activated next week. Fantasy managers need Bellinger healthy and he's a must-start player once he's back in the lineup. He's just two years removed from posting a 162 wRC+ and being one of the top hitters in Major League Baseball.

    From RotoBaller

Willie Calhoun Jun 19 10:20pm ET

Texas Rangers outfielder Willie Calhoun went 0-for-4 against the Minnesota Twins Saturday. Calhoun left stranded two baserunners and struck out once. The 26-year-old carries a.243 batting average to go along with 18 walks and 26 strikeouts. However, he has five home runs and five RBI. At home, the Rangers outfielder is hitting well, posting a .287 batting average. If he can start producing offensively on the road, Calhoun would be an excellent addition to a fantasy lineup.

    From RotoBaller

Austin Gomber Jun 19 10:13pm ET

Colorado Rockies LHP Austin Gomber (undisclosed) was pulled from his start against the Milwaukee Brewers with an undisclosed injury Saturday, June 19.

Justin Dunn Jun 19 10:10pm ET

Seattle Mariners starting pitcher Justin Dunn (shoulder) was diagnosed with a muscle strain in his right shoulder. Dunn recently landed on the 10-day injured list after exiting Thursday's matchup against Tampa Bay and will now be shut down for two weeks, with no throwing during that span. He will be re-evaluated after that, but fantasy managers could be without him for a while. Robert Dugger was called up to take his place in the rotation, although he isn't worth much from a fantasy perspective.

    From RotoBaller

Fernando Tatis Jr. Jun 19 9:53pm ET

San Diego Padres SS Fernando Tatis Jr. (shoulder) exited against the Cincinnati Reds after injuring his left shoulder while diving for a ball Saturday, June 19.
