The Seattle Mariners have designated utility man Dylan Moore for assignment. In a corresponding move, they reinstated outfielder Victor Robles from the 60-day IL.

Moore has played all seven of his MLB seasons for the Mariners, appearing in 671 games. In 2024, he had his best offensive season, producing 10 home runs, 42 RBIs, and 32 stolen bases with a .201/.320/.367 batting line in 135 games.

However, he could not maintain that momentum this season. Through 88 games, he has recorded nine home runs, 19 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases with a .193/.263/.359 line.

Moore has never been a high-contact hitter, but the sharp decline in his on-base percentage was notable. He has a career mark of .310.

Defensively, the 33-year-old has the ability to play all over the field. This season, Moore has logged time at first base, second base, shortstop, and in the outfield.

Robles, 28, played only 10 games for the Mariners this season, before suffering a left shoulder dislocation. In 2024, he batted .307 to go along with four home runs, 28 RBIs, and 34 stolen bases for Seattle and the Washington Nationals.
