The New York Mets are in agreement with former Yankees reliever Luke Weaver on a two-year deal for $22 million, ESPN reported on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old right-hander is the second player to move from the Bronx bullpen to the Mets this offseason after Devin Williams agreed to a three-year, $51 million contract earlier this month.

Weaver went 4-4 with a 3.62 ERA and a career-high eight saves in 64 relief appearances in 2025. He struck out 72 batters and walked 20 in 64 2/3 innings.

Weaver is 38-49 with a 4.74 ERA and 12 saves in 270 career games (106 starts) with six teams since his 2016 debut with the St. Louis Cardinals, who drafted him in the first round in 2014.

The Yankees signed him off waivers from the Seattle Mariners in September 2023.
