Carlos Correa Sep 19 6:30pm ET

Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Seattle Mariners. This appears to be a routine day off for Correa, so he should be back in the lineup on Friday. Marwin Gonzalez will play shortstop and bat cleanup versus righty Matt Festa. Gonzalez has been hitting well lately, so he could be a sleeper option for DFS contests on Wednesday.

    From RotoBaller

Connor Sadzeck Sep 19 6:30pm ET

Texas Rangers relief pitcher Connor Sadzeck will serve as the opener on Friday against the Mariners, with Ariel Jurado following him. Sadzeck hasn't allowed a run while striking out five over 6 1/3 innings in eight outings (one start) for the Rangers this year, but he isn't on the fantasy radar in an opening role. Jurado shouldn't be used by fantasy owners, either.

    From RotoBaller

Chance Sisco Sep 19 6:20pm ET

Baltimore Orioles catcher Chance Sisco (concussion) will not travel with the team unless he's cleared from the concussion protocol. With Baltimore having nothing to play for, it doesn't make sense for them to rush their young catcher back. Sisco is hitting just .181/.288/.269 with two home runs and 16 RBI in 160 at-bats for Baltimore in 2018. He hasn't been a fantasy option.

    From RotoBaller

Chris Davis Sep 19 6:20pm ET

Updating a previous report, Baltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis (neck) is out of the starting lineup with a stiff neck on Wednesday. It doesn't sound lIke Davis' injury will keep him out for long, so consider the power hitter day-to-day. He continues to be a massive disappointment, hitting an embarrassing .171/.246/.302 with only 16 homers and 49 RBI for the worst team in baseball. DJ Stewart is serving as the designated hitter and is batting eighth against Blue Jays starter Marco Estrada on Wednesday.

    From RotoBaller

Billy Hamilton Sep 19 6:20pm ET

Cincinnati Reds outfielder Billy Hamilton is back in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. Hamilton did not start on Tuesday after going hitless over his last three games. He'll bat ninth and play center field versus lefty Gio Gonzalez on Wednesday. Hamilton has not been reliable with the bat lately, so he can be avoided in DFS contests.

    From RotoBaller

Austin Romine Sep 19 6:20pm ET

New York Yankees catcher Austin Romine (neck) was unavailable on Tuesday after he woke up with stiffness in his neck. However, he's feeling better on Wednesday and is expected to be available off the bench. Romine was a decent fill-in for Gary Sanchez when he was injured earlier this year, and he has hit .248/.302/.430 with 10 home runs and 39 RBI on the season.

    From RotoBaller

James Paxton Sep 19 6:20pm ET

Seattle Mariners starting pitchers James Paxton (illness) and Felix Hernandez (hamstring) will both rejoin the team and throw bullpen sessions on Friday before manager Scott Servais decides whether they'll start in the final week of the season. Paxton would like to get to two more starts to push his innings up to around 160 for the year. Both pitchers have been out since the first week of September, so they'll both be extra risky if they start next week, with King Felix being much more risky. Paxton has been the team's ace this year and has gone 11-6 with a 3.83 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and career-high 11.6 K/9 across 26 starts.

    From RotoBaller

Lorenzo Cain Sep 19 6:10pm ET

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Lorenzo Cain (ribs) is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. Cain was forced to leave the game on Tuesday after a muscle stiffened up on him. Christian Yelich will slide over to center field and bat second, while Domingo Santana will play right field and bat fifth versus righty Matt Harvey. Yelich is a reliable fantasy option, but Santana can be avoided on Wednesday.

    From RotoBaller

Edwin Encarnacion Sep 19 6:10pm ET

Cleveland Indians first baseman Edwin Encarnacion (ankle) is back in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Chicago White Sox. Encarnacion missed two games with a mild right ankle sprain. He'll bat cleanup and serve as the DH against righty Dylan Covey on Wednesday. Covey has a 5.81 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in his last 10 starts. The Indians hitters should be a solid bet for DFS contests on Wednesday.

    From RotoBaller

Rowdy Tellez Sep 19 6:00pm ET

Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Rowdy Tellez (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. It appears this is a rest day for Tellez who has seen an increase in playing time lately. Justin Smoak will play first base and bat third, while Kendrys Morales will serve as the DH and bat cleanup versus righty Jimmy Yacabonis. Both Smoak and Morales are worth considering for DFS contests.

    From RotoBaller

Chris Davis Sep 19 6:00pm ET

Baltimore Orioles first baseman Chris Davis (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Davis is hitting .182/.260/.310 with 11 home runs and 34 RBI off right-handed pitching this season. Davis has one hit over his last eight games. Trey Mancini will play first base and bat fifth, while D.J. Stewart bats eighth and serves as the DH versus righty Marco Estrada. Mancini is worth a look in DFS contests on Wednesday, but Stewart can be avoided.

    From RotoBaller

Pablo Reyes Sep 19 5:40pm ET

Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Pablo Reyes has been crushing the ball since being called up by the Pirates. Reyes will remain in the starting lineup for the third straight game on Wednesday. He'll bat sixth and play right field versus righty Heath Fillmyer. Reyes is not likely going to be an option in fantasy leagues. However, he should be a reliable and cheap option for DFS contests.

    From RotoBaller

Adam Frazier Sep 19 5:40pm ET

Pittsburgh Pirates infielder/outfielder Adam Frazier (knee) is back in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Kansas City Royals. Frazier was held out of the lineup on Tuesday due to a sore right knee. He did later came in to bat off the bench, so it appears that this was a minor injury. Frazier will lead off and play second base versus righty Heath Fillmyer. Frazier should be a solid candidate for DFS contests on Wednesday.

    From RotoBaller

Chad Kuhl Sep 19 5:30pm ET

Pittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Chad Kuhl (elbow) underwent elbow surgery on Wednesday. It's unknown what the exact surgery is that Kuhl had, so stay tuned for details of the surgery and how long the right-hander might have to miss. Kuhl hadn't started since late June and had a 4.55 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 81 strikeouts in 85 innings over 16 starts.

    From RotoBaller

Rafael Devers Sep 19 5:30pm ET

Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the New York Yankees. Devers has awful career numbers against Yankees starter Luis Severino. That is likely why he is out of the lineup, but he's also struggled heavily over the last two weeks. Eduardo Nunez will bat seventh and play third base against Severino. Nunez has been decent this season, but does not have much upside in DFS contests.

    From RotoBaller

Addison Reed Sep 19 5:30pm ET

Minnesota Twins relief pitcher Addison Reed will go on the paternity list to finish this week and will not travel west with the team after Wednesday's game. He'll have until Sept. 25 to return to the team for the final homestand of the season. Reed has struggled this year to a 4.67 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and career-low 7.0 K/9 over just 54 innings. A popular sleeper for saves to begin the year, Reed hasn't managed to save any games in 2018.

    From RotoBaller

Luke Voit Sep 19 5:30pm ET

New York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit is back in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Boston Red Sox. Voit is back after receiving an off day on Tuesday. He'll bat eighth and play first base against lefty David Price. However, Price has been destroyed by the Yankees this season. Voit should be a decent cheap option for DFS contests on Wednesday.

    From RotoBaller

Josh Rogers Sep 19 5:20pm ET

Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Josh Rogers is being shut down for the rest of the season, according to manager Buck Showalter. Rogers struggled in his first three big league starts, posting an 8.49 ERA and 1.89 WHIP with just six strikeouts in 11 2/3 innings. However, the left-hander has promise at this level and should compete for a rotation spot in spring training next season. Yefry Ramirez will start on Friday and David Hess will go on Saturday against the Yankees. Neither pitchers are realistic fantasy streamers in bad matchups.

    From RotoBaller

Shane Bieber Sep 19 5:20pm ET

Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona hinted that starting pitcher Shane Bieber could be moving to the bullpen to close out the season. "We think that he's not being 'relegated' to the bullpen. He'd be going there to help us win," Francona said. Bieber will come out of the bullpen after Trevor Bauer pitches an inning or two this Friday against the Red Sox. He's been decent for Cleveland this year with his 10-4 record, 4.50 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 108 strikeouts in 104 innings, but his fantasy value is dropping as we near the end of this year.

    From RotoBaller

Wilson Ramos Sep 19 5:20pm ET

Philadelphia Phillies catcher Wilson Ramos is back in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the New York Mets. Ramos was given an off day on Tuesday, but is refreshed and ready to go on Wednesday. He'll bat fifth and draw the start behind the plate against righty Noah Syndergaard. Ramos has hit well against Syndergaard in his career. If anyone in the Phillies lineup has value against Syndergaard it's Ramos.
