Eddie Rosario May 25 6:50am ET

Minnesota Twins outfielder Eddie Rosario went 4-for-5 with a double, a homer, and three RBI in an 11-4 win over the Chicago White Sox on Friday. Rosario and his teammates combined for nine extra-base hits in the blowout win. The veteran outfielder has developed into one of the most dangerous hitters in the American League. He is now hitting .285 with an .868 OPS, 15 homers, 34 runs, 42 RBI, and two steals. He is well on his way to a monster season at the plate. He's an excellent play on Saturday against Chicago lefty Manny Banuelos.

Max Kepler May 25 6:40am ET

Minnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler had a big night in an 11-4 win over the Chicago White Sox on Friday. Kepler went 3-for-4 with a double, a homer, two runs, and four RBI in the victory. The full line raises Kepler's batting average to .271 with an .865 OPS, 11 homers, 33 runs, and 29 RBI. The 26-year-old has been scorching at the plate of late, hitting .467 with three homers over his past seven games. Still available in 42% of Yahoo leagues, it is worth picking up and riding Kepler while he's seeing the ball well at the plate.

George Springer May 25 1:13am ET

Hinch said the injury 'doesn't look good.' It was Springer's first game back after missing four in a row due to a stiff back.

Roberto Perez May 25 1:03am ET

Cleveland Indians C Roberto Perez (head) was back in the starting lineup on Friday, May 24, after missing a pair of games with a concussion.

Michael Conforto May 25 12:43am ET

Kyle Garlick May 25 12:33am ET

Los Angeles Dodgers RP Joe Kelly was placed on the bereavement list Friday, May 24; he's expected to rejoin the team on Monday, May 27. In a corresponding move, OF Kyle Garlick was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Dustin Pedroia May 25 12:30am ET

Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (knee) "didn't feel right" during his rehab game for Double-A Portland on Friday and came out of the game early. However, manager Alex Cora doesn't think it's a major concern. It's just one setback after another for the 35-year-old veteran. He's managed to play in just nine games so far in the last two seasons and it's fair to wonder when he'll make it back or even if he will at this point. Michael Chavis has taken a firm grip on the starting second base duties in Beantown, so Pedroia will be a bench bat if he ever finishes up his rehab assignment.

    From RotoBaller

Christian Yelich May 25 12:23am ET

Milwaukee Brewers OF Christian Yelich (back) returned to the lineup Friday, May 24, after missing the team's previous two games due to back spasms.

Welington Castillo May 25 12:20am ET

Chicago White Sox catcher Welington Castillo (head) left the game early on Friday after taking a foul tip off his mask in the eighth inning. He had a single in four plate appearances before departing. Castillo has had a rough go of it so far in 2019, hitting .176/.286/.318 with only three home runs and 10 RBI in 98 plate appearances. James McCann has been the far better catcher for fantasy owners and will likely start on Saturday. Castillo is likely going through the league's concussion protocol, so stay tuned on his status for the rest of the weekend and beyond.

Hunter Renfroe May 25 12:20am ET

San Diego Padres outfielder Hunter Renfroe blasted his 12th home run of the year Friday propelling the club to a 6-3 win. Renfroe came up with two on and one out in the eighth before yanking the ball over the left field bleachers to break the tie. The 27-year-old's play this season has been streaky hitting his home runs in bunches while struggling to make contact over other stretches of games. His 27.0% K-rate and .230 batting average is less than ideal, but his home run total and 26 RBI are carrying his fantasy value. With his sporadic play he is avoidable in shallower formats, but his pop appeals in deeper mixed leagues.
