Luis Robert Mar 21 11:40pm ET

Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert, the team's No. 4 prospect and No. 40 overall, lit up the Arizona Fall League in 2018 after rarely being healthy in his first two professional seasons in the minors. The White Sox gave him a $26 million bonus and few players can match his combination of exit velocity and foot speed. He has five-tool potential as a center fielder. Alongside fellow outfield phenom Eloy Jimenez, the White Sox's future outfield is looking very bright as soon as the 2020 season. Robert should already be on the radar of those in dynasty/keeper leagues.

Nate Pearson Mar 21 11:20pm ET

Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Nate Pearson, the team's No. 4 prospect and No. 76 overall per MLB Pipeline, looked great in the Arizona Fall League and flashed front-of-the-rotation stuff with a great combination of size, stuff and pitchability. Pearson's 2018 season ended after just 1 1/3 innings when he fractured his right forearm after being hit by a line drive at High-A Dunedin. The 22-year-old right-hander is estimated to arrive in the big leagues sometime in 2020. For now he's just a name to keep on your radar in dynasty leagues.

Starling Marte Mar 21 11:20pm ET

Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Starling Marte was scratched from Thursday's Grapefruit League lineup as a precaution due to lower back tightness. Marte is listed as day-to-day. It doesn't seem like a serious injury, so Marte should be good to go for next Thursday's Opening Day on March 28. Marte hit .277/.327/.460 with a career-high 20 home runs, 72 RBI and 33 stolen bases in 145 games for the Bucs last year. His combination of speed and power makes him a top-15 fantasy outfielder.

Luis Severino Mar 21 10:50pm ET

New York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (shoulder) played catch on back-to-back days on Thursday for the first time since being shut down due to rotator-cuff inflammation, and he made 50 throws off flat ground. Manager Aaron Boone said that the session "went well" and that Severino looked more comfortable than on Wednesday. The right-hander won't throw on Friday and it's unknown when he will move to a mound. Severino is a fantasy ace when healthy after breaking out in 2018, but his stock is down now that he'll miss at least one month of the season.

CC Sabathia Mar 21 10:50pm ET

New York Yankees starting pitcher CC Sabathia (heart, knee) gave up one run and two hits in two innings on Thursday in a minor league exhibition game in his first game action since undergoing a heart procedure in December. Sabathia struck out three against the Tigers Triple-A affiliate, Toledo. The veteran left-hander said he "felt great" after the 26-pitch outing. He'll make another minor league outing on Tuesday against the Phillies and is expected to miss his first two or three starts of the regular season. The 38-year-old will retire after the 2019 season and is more of a matchup play in deep mixed and AL-only leagues at this stage of his career. He'll also serve a five-game suspension to begin the year for hitting Rays catcher Jesus Sucre in his final start.
