Danny Santana May 19 12:43pm ET

Texas Rangers OF Danny Santana (ankle) has not been placed on the injured list but will miss the Rangers' game Sunday, May 19, with a bruised right ankle.

Drew Pomeranz May 19 12:43pm ET

San Francisco Giants LHP Drew Pomeranz was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Sunday, May 19. In a corresponding move, OF Aaron Altherr was designated for assignment.

Aaron Altherr May 19 12:43pm ET

San Francisco Giants LHP Drew Pomeranz was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Sunday, May 19. In a corresponding move, OF Aaron Altherr was designated for assignment.

Shawn Kelley May 19 12:40pm ET

Texas Rangers relief pitcher Shawn Kelley (illness) is scheduled to throw a simulated game on Sunday. Assuming everything goes well, Kelley could be activated from the injured list on Monday. Kelley had surgery last week to remove lymph nodes from his vocal cords. Kelley was the closer in Arlington before landing on the injured list, so he's likely going to return to that role.

    From RotoBaller

Amed Rosario May 19 12:40pm ET

New York Mets shortstop Amed Rosario (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Miami Marlins. It appears this is just a routine day off for Rosario. Adeiny Hechavarria will play shortstop and bat sixth versus righty Sandy Alcantara. Hechavarria is not a reliable fantasy option here. J.D. Davis or Robinson Cano would be much better fantasy options for this contest.

    From RotoBaller

Tommy Pham May 19 12:40pm ET

Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Tommy Pham has been struggling over the past few weeks. Hes only hitting .231 with one home run and no stolen bases in the past two weeks but has a .362 on-base percentage. Pham owners shouldnt panic at this point and is a potential buy-low candidate. His walk rate of 15.5 percent is one of the best in the league and his strikeout rate of 17.6 percent is the best of his career. He still has a healthy BABIP of .325 but it appears that hes getting some bad luck which is evidenced by his hard hit rate of 52% (among top in the league) and xBA .277. Expect a bounce back in a major way from these past two weeks and check the buy-low market before he heats back up.

    From RotoBaller

Josh Donaldson May 19 12:30pm ET

Atlanta Braves third baseman Josh Donaldson (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers. This appears to be a routine day off for the slugging third baseman. Austin Riley will cover third base and bat fifth versus righty Brandon Woodruff. Riley has been smacking the ball, so he's a decent cheap DFS option for Sunday.

    From RotoBaller

Ryan Braun May 19 12:30pm ET

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Braves. The veteran slugger will get the day off to rest, but should be back in there soon. Ben Gamel will cover left field and bat seventh versus righty Mike Foltynewicz. Gamel doesn't have much fantasy value, but Christian Yelich or Lorenzo Cain would be a solid DFS options against Foltynewicz, who carries a 8.02 ERA into this contest.

    From RotoBaller

Andrew Benintendi May 19 12:30pm ET

Boston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Houston Astros. The team has decided to give Benintendi the day off versus the left-handed starter. J.D. Martinez will slide over to left field and bat cleanup, while Eduardo Nunez bats eighth and serves as the designated hitter against lefty Wade Miley. Martinez is always a threat to do damage at the plate, so he's worth looking at in DFS contests.

    From RotoBaller

Justin Turner May 19 12:30pm ET

Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner (shin) will return to the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. Turner left Friday's game after fouling a ball off his shin. He did not play on Saturday, but bats third and plays third base against righty Tanner Roark on Sunday. Fantasy owners can feel safe about plugging Turner back into their lineups.

    From RotoBaller

Blake Snell May 19 12:20pm ET

Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Blake Snell threw six innings of one run ball with nine strikeouts, but failed to get the win Saturday in New York. The Rays didnt give him any run support, but ended up winning 2-1 on homers in the seventh and 11th innings from Brandon Lowe and Austin Meadows, respectively. Snell has been great over his last three starts, with 30 strikeouts in 17 2/3 innings and let up only two earned runs in that span. He hasnt been able to get past the sixth inning which is likely due to the high strikeout numbers. He remains one of the best pitchers in fantasy baseball and should be started in every matchup. Next up will be a plus matchup against a struggling Cleveland lineup.

    From RotoBaller

Brendan Rodgers May 19 12:20pm ET

Colorado Rockies infielder Brendan Rodgers (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies. Rodgers started his first two games after his promotion, but managed just one hit in eight at-bats. Ryan McMahon will draw the start at second base and bat seventh versus righty Jerad Eickhoff. McMahon is not much of a fantasy option for this one.

    From RotoBaller

Willie Calhoun May 19 12:20pm ET

Texas Rangers outfielder Willie Calhoun (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. Since his promotion, Calhoun had started four straight games. It appears the Rangers want to give Calhoun a day off to rest. Shin-Soo Choo will leadoff and play left field, while Hunter Pence serves as the designated hitter and bats cleanup versus righty Jack Flaherty. Both players could be worth a look in DFS contests against Flaherty who has struggled.

    From RotoBaller

Khris Davis May 19 12:20pm ET

Oakland Athletics designated hitter Khris Davis (hip) is back in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Detroit Tigers. Davis did not play in Saturday's contest due to left hip soreness. He'll serve as the designated hitter and bat cleanup versus lefty Gregory Soto. This is a great fantasy matchup for Davis, so DFS players should take a look at him on Sunday.

    From RotoBaller

Austin Meadows May 19 12:10pm ET

Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Austin Meadows hit a solo home run in the 11th inning Saturday night to lift the Rays over the Yankees in a 2-1 victory. Since his return from his thumb injury, Meadows is hitting .333 with three homers and a steal. Its safe to say that hes back and healthy and producing for the Rays and his fantasy owners. Its still a fairly small sample size but his numbers through about 100 at-bats are excellent, hitting .347/.423/.694 with nine home runs and four stolen bases. The supporting numbers say that his start is legit. Meadows could be a guy that is common amongst fantasy champions at the end of the season. Hang on if you have him, and if theres an owner that doesnt believe in breakout, make a move.

    From RotoBaller

Scott Kingery May 19 12:10pm ET

Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Scott Kingery (hamstring) has been activated from the 10-day injured list on Sunday. Kingery had missed the last month due to a right hamstring strain. He'll bat seventh and make his first career first in center field versus lefty Kyle Freeland on Sunday. Kingery was hitting .406/.457/.719 before the injury, so the Phillies are going to find ways to get him in the lineup.

    From RotoBaller

James Paxton May 19 12:10pm ET

New York Yankees starting pitcher James Paxton (knee) threw a 20-pitch bullpen session on Sunday. Paxton is dealing with left knee inflammation, but it sounds like he's close to returning. Paxton believes that he'll need one more bullpen session before he'll be ready to return. The Yankees have a bullpen session scheduled for Paxton on Tuesday. Assuming everything goes well, Paxton should be back with the Yankees later this week.

    From RotoBaller

Jose Altuve May 19 12:10pm ET

Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (hamstring) is expected to go on a rehab assignment this week, according to manager A.J. Hinch. Altuve has been on the injured list for about a week. He'll likely only need a few rehab games before he's able to rejoin the Astros lineup. Fantasy owners should expect to have Altuve back by the end of the week.

    From RotoBaller

Mike Clevinger May 19 12:00pm ET

Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Mike Clevinger (back) is still recovering from a right upper back muscle strain. The team believes that Clevinger could head out for a rehab assignment after throwing two or three more bullpen sessions. He is eligible to come off the injured list on June 7. It's unclear if he'll be ready by then, but Clevinger should be good to go sometime in June.

    From RotoBaller

Jose Altuve May 19 11:23am ET

Houston Astros 2B Jose Altuve (hamstring) will likely need a rehab assignment next week before coming off the injured list, according to manager A.J. Hinch.
