Arizona Diamondbacks 1B/3B Jake Lamb (quadriceps) was activated from the injured list on Wednesday, June 26.

Giancarlo Stanton Jun 27 12:43am ET

Updating a previous report, New York Yankees OF Giancarlo Stanton (knee) will have his knee re-evaluated in 10 days, and manager Aaron Boone said it's likely the injury will keep Stanton out beyond those 10 days.

Yu Darvish Jun 27 12:40am ET

Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Yu Darvish did not make it 11 straight no-decisions as he picked up the loss on Wednesday versus the Atlanta Braves. Darvish was hurt by giving up two home runs and allowed five hits, five runs, two walks and eight strikeouts. Darvish is having a much better year than 2018, but still holds a 4.98 ERA heading into a matchup versus the Pirates next week.

Reynaldo Lopez Jun 27 12:40am ET

Chicago White Sox starting pitcher Reynaldo Lopez picked up a quality start on Wednesday versus the Red Sox. Lopez has mostly been atrocious this year and allowed nine hits, three runs, one walk and struck out three over six innings. Lopez owns a 6.12 ERA heading into his next start versus the Tigers in a favorable matchup. Lopez should remain on waivers in all formats.

Jose Abreu Jun 27 12:40am ET

Chicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu broke out of a mini slump on Wednesday versus the Boston Red Sox. The slugger went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, a home run and four RBI. Abreu remains one of the more underrated first base options and is now hitting .260 with 19 home runs and 59 RBI.

Tim Anderson Jun 27 12:33am ET

Chicago White Sox SS Tim Anderson (ankle) was wearing a walking boot Wednesday, June 26, and there is no timetable for a return. The team is expected to make roster moves before their next game on Friday, June 28.

Kris Bryant Jun 27 12:30am ET

Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant went 3-for-5 with a solo home run on Wednesday versus the Atlanta Braves. After an injury plagued 2018 campaign, Bryant has bounced back nicely with a .287 batting average with 16 home runs and 41 RBI. The former MVP remains one of the best offensive options in the game when he is healthy.

    From RotoBaller

Josh Rogers Jun 27 12:23am ET

Baltimore Orioles RP Josh Rogers (elbow) will receive a second opinion on his ailing left elbow, but manager Brandon Hyde indicated that surgery was the likely outcome.

Willson Contreras Jun 27 12:20am ET

Chicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras extended his streak to ten on Wednesday versus the Atlanta Braves. Contreras finished the game 2-for-3 with a home run, triple, RBI and a walk. Contreras has been on fire lately and remains one of the best catchers in all formats. Contreras is hitting .300 with 17 home runs and 48 RBI on the season.

    From RotoBaller

Craig Kimbrel Jun 27 12:20am ET

Chicago Cubs relief pitcher Craig Kimbrel was officially promoted following Wednesdays loss versus the Atlanta Braves. Kimbrel will slide into the closer role for the Cubs and instantly becomes one of the better options for owners looking for saves. Reliever Tony Barnette was sent down to Triple-A to clear space for Kimbrel.

    From RotoBaller

Dylan Bundy Jun 27 12:10am ET

Baltimore Orioles starting pitcher Dylan Bundy had his second straight poor outing in Wednesday's 10-5 loss to the Padres. Bundy allowed five runs on six hits (including two home runs) and three walks with four strikeouts in four innings pitched. The 26-year-old has failed again this season to keep the ball in the park and now owns a 4.91 ERA with 90 strikeouts, 30 walks, and 19 HR allowed over 84 1/3 IP. Needless to say, fantasy players should stay far away from Bundy, as his HR problem crushes his fantasy value.

    From RotoBaller

Jason Vargas Jun 27 12:10am ET

The New York Mets' bullpen once again failed to preserve a late lead Wednesday as the club dropped a third consecutive game to the Philadelphia Phillies. New York's starter on the night, however, was not to blame. Jason Vargas went 6 1/3 inning, allowing just three hits and two runs. He struck out 10, firing 5 shutout innings to begin the game. It was in the seventh when he ran into trouble, eventually getting pulled after just 77 pitches. Vargas continues to be a reliable starter for the New York Mets, but once again it was the bullpen that failed for the struggling ball club.

    From RotoBaller
