James Paxton May 25 9:33am ET

New York Yankees LHP James Paxton (knee) continued to experience discomfort in his left knee while throwing four innings in an extended spring training game Friday, May 24. Manager Aaron Boone said the next course of action would not be determined until Saturday, May 25, after the team sees how he feels.

Troy Tulowitzki May 25 9:23am ET

New York Yankees SS Troy Tulowitzki (calf) logged nine at-bats in his first simulated game and could begin an official rehab assignment next week. He has been fielding grounders at second base, shortstop and third base.

Pete Alonso May 25 9:20am ET

New York Mets first baseman Peter Alonso hit yet another home run on Friday against the Detroit Tigers. Alonso went 2-for-4 with a solo shot that was his 17th of the season. The rookie is tied for third in all of baseball in home runs behind only Cody Bellinger and Christian Yelich and should continue to provide some major power in the middle of the Mets order.

Corey Dickerson May 25 9:13am ET

Pittsburgh Pirates OF Corey Dickerson (shoulder) started a rehab assignment with Class AAA Indianapolis Friday, May 24.

Wilson Ramos May 25 9:10am ET

New York Mets catcher Wilson Ramos launched his third home run of the season on Friday against the Detroit Tigers. Ramos went 2-for-4 in the process, while also scoring two runs in a 9-8 loss. The veteran has struggled at times this season but is hitting a respectable .257. With a shortage of options at the catcher position, you could do much worse than Ramos, who is one of the better offensive backstops in the league.

Juan Soto May 25 9:10am ET

Washington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto remained scorching hot on Friday night against the Miami Marlins. Soto went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored in his team's win. Soto's three-run shot in the eighth inning helped put the Nationals ahead in a wild game that ended in the Nationals favor, 12-10. The young outfielder is 6-for-7 in his last two games and is batting .600 in his last four games. It's safe to say that Soto is on a hot streak, so take advantage.

Justin Upton May 25 9:03am ET

Los Angeles Angels OF Justin Upton (toe) is now able to run on 100 percent of his weight and has been cleared to resume taking on-field batting practice and participating in some outfield drills.

Anthony Rendon May 25 9:00am ET

Washington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon stayed hot on Friday against the Miami Marlins. Rendon went 2-for-4 with a double, home run and three runs scored in his team's victory. The stud third baseman clubbed his 10th home run of the season off Miami starter Pablo Lopez in the third inning. Rendon is now hitting .326 and sports a 1.102 OPS. Continue to ride your star player, as he is one of the premier players in all of fantasy.

Noah Syndergaard May 25 9:00am ET

New York Mets right-hander Noah Syndergaard failed to post a quality start on Friday against the lowly Detroit Tigers. Syndergaard allowed six runs on 10 hits in only 5 1/3 innings of work. He struck out nine. The big righty came into Friday's contest with a plus matchup against a right-handed heavy Tigers lineup but failed to emerge with a win or a productive start. He will carry a disappointing 4.93 ERA into his next start against the Los Angeles Dodgers on the road.

Ketel Marte May 25 9:00am ET

Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Ketel Marte had a monster night on Friday against the San Francisco Giants. Marte went 3-for-7 with three runs scored and four RBI. The 25-year-old clubbed a three-run home run in the seventh inning off reliever Derek Holland for his 10th home run of the season. Marte is hitting .265 but brings a nice power-speed combination to the top of the D-backs order.

Pat Neshek May 25 8:53am ET

Philadelphia Phillies RP Pat Neshek (shoulder) is dealing with a sore shoulder and will be placed on the injured list, according to manager Gabe Kapler.

Eduardo Escobar May 25 8:50am ET

Arizona Diamondbacks third baseman Eduardo Escobar had a productive day at the plate on Friday against the San Francisco Giants. Escobar went 2-for-6 with a home run and three RBI in the 14-2 rout of the Giants. The veteran's home run was of the three-run variety and was his 12th long ball of the season. Escobar is now hitting .281 and can provide fantasy teams with some pop at the third base position while hitting in the middle of the productive Diamondbacks order.

    From RotoBaller

Robbie Ray May 25 8:50am ET

Arizona Diamondbacks left-hander Robbie Ray earned the win on Friday night against the San Francisco Giants. Ray went 5 1/3 innings, allowing just two runs on five hits to go along with nine strikeouts. As usual, the southpaw was inefficient with his pitches, needing 106 to get through 5 1/3 frames. However, he was given a ton of run support, as the D-backs were ahead 14-2 when Ray left the game. He will toe the rubber against the Colorado Rockies on the road in his next start.

Khris Davis May 25 8:13am ET

The young hurler improved his record to 7-2 with a 3.20 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, and 64 strikeouts in 70 1/3 innings of work. Berrios bounced back from a rough patch over his previous two starts. He will have his work cut out for him on Thursday when he faces the Tampa Bay Rays.

    From RotoBaller

Eddie Rosario May 25 6:50am ET

Minnesota Twins outfielder Eddie Rosario went 4-for-5 with a double, a homer, and three RBI in an 11-4 win over the Chicago White Sox on Friday. Rosario and his teammates combined for nine extra-base hits in the blowout win. The veteran outfielder has developed into one of the most dangerous hitters in the American League. He is now hitting .285 with an .868 OPS, 15 homers, 34 runs, 42 RBI, and two steals. He is well on his way to a monster season at the plate. He's an excellent play on Saturday against Chicago lefty Manny Banuelos.

    From RotoBaller

Max Kepler May 25 6:40am ET

Minnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler had a big night in an 11-4 win over the Chicago White Sox on Friday. Kepler went 3-for-4 with a double, a homer, two runs, and four RBI in the victory.
