Lefty Braxton Garrett was next up, but he struggled in his two starts and will be sent back to Jacksonville on Wednesday, potentially paving the way for White to make his MLB debut for Game 3 of a series in Miami against the division-rival Atlanta Braves. The former first-rounder in 2023 has a 4.01 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, and 35:15 K:BB in 24 2/3 frames over seven starts for Jacksonville and Single-A Jupiter this year, so he hasn't exactly been killing it down on the farm. With his potential big-league debut looming, White is one of the best young arms to stash in fantasy. He's rostered in 6% of Yahoo leagues.

New York Mets infielder Bo Bichette could be on the verge of breaking out offensively after homering for the second straight day in Tuesday night's 9-6 loss on the road in D.C. to the division-rival Washington Nationals. Bichette went 2-for-4 at the plate out of the two-hole with two home runs and four RBI to boost his season average to .224 and his OPS to .609. It has not been the season that Mets fans had envisioned in the 28-year-old's first year in Queens, as he entered Tuesday's tilt with a .219/.273/.297 slash line with only three home runs, 21 RBI, 21 runs scored, a steal, 15 walks, and 34 strikeouts in his first 47 games across 209 plate appearances. Bichette's xwOBA is in just the 52nd percentile, and his hard-hit rate ranks in the 64th percentile in baseball. However, he's now gone deep three times in the last two games, potentially signaling a turnaround at the plate for the former Toronto Blue Jays shortstop. With Francisco Lindor (calf) and Mauricio Dubon (thumb) both on the injured list, Bichette has shifted from third to shortstop in New York, and it could be helping him click on offense.

Colorado Rockies outfielder Brenton Doyle (undisclosed) was removed early from his team's game against the Texas Rangers on Tuesday. Per Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post, Doyle "appeared to be shaken up" after attempting to make a diving catch in the first inning. Chicago White Sox catcher Kyle Teel (hamstring, knee) has been transferred to the 60-day injured list to make room for left-handed pitcher Joe Rock on the White Sox 40-man roster. Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Quinn Priester (shoulder) is scheduled to make his next rehab appearance with Triple-A Nashville on Thursday, per MLB.com's Adam McCalvy. Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Corbin Burnes (elbow) said he has two more bullpen sessions before he can potentially face live hitters next Friday, per Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic. Piecoro also reports that Burns thinks it could be a "couple of weeks or so before he starts getting into games," and that Burnes is still targeting a "mid-July-ish" return to the big leagues. Burnes is working his way back from Tommy John Surgery, which ended his 2025 campaign last June. Tampa Bay Rays first baseman/designated hitter Yandy Diaz (hand) exited early from his team's matchup against the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday after being hit by a pitch on his hand in the eighth inning, per Ryan Bass of MLB TV. Diaz was two-for-four with a home run and two RBI before leaving the game. Atlanta Braves manager Walt Weiss said that catcher Drake Baldwin (oblique) has been diagnosed with a grade 1 oblique strain, per Daniel Alvarez-Montes of El Extrabase. Houston Astros right-hander Lance McCullers Jr. (shoulder) is going on the 15-day injured list on Tuesday with right-shoulder inflammation, according to Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle. McCullers was scratched from his scheduled start on Tuesday on the road against the Minnesota Twins with a shoulder issue that manager Joe Espada said McCullers has been dealing with for a while. San Francisco Giants shortstop Willy Adames (thumb) is back in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the division-rival Arizona Diamondbacks and right-hander Ryne Nelson at Chase Field and will bat fifth in the lineup, according to MLB.com. Garrett made his second start for the Fish in an 8-4 loss to the division-rival Atlanta Braves on Tuesday, allowing two earned runs on three hits while walking three and striking out two in only three innings to lower his season ERA through two starts to 14.54. The 28-year-old southpaw was slightly better on Tuesday, but it still wasn't a great showing, and the Marlins want him to go back to the minors to work on some things. It is unclear who will be considered to take Garrett's spot in the big-league starting rotation with Snelling facing an extended absence.

Toronto Blue Jays infielder Ernie Clement (illness) is out of the starting lineup on Tuesday against the division-rival New York Yankees due to strep throat, according to Hazel Mae of Sportsnet. Clement told Mae that "it started yesterday." Davis Schneider is starting at second base for Toronto and will hit seventh for the Jays against Yankees right-hander Will Warren in the Bronx. Schneider has faced Warren only two times in his career, but has a home run and two RBI. The 30-year-old Clement should be considered day-to-day for now. The former fourth-round selection by the Cleveland Guardians in 2017 out of Virginia hasn't provided fantasy managers with much besides a decent average (.281) in 2026. Baltimore Orioles second baseman Jackson Holliday (hand) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list on Monday before the series opener against the division-rival Tampa Bay Rays, but he didn't play. Holliday will start at second base and bat seventh in the lineup in his 2026 season debut against Rays right-hander Griffin Jax. The 22-year-old former first overall pick in 2022 needed surgery for a fractured hamate bone in his right hand in February, but he's just now making his season debut due to multiple setbacks he encountered while on his minor-league rehab assignment. Fantasy managers still holding Holliday have to be disappointed that he's hitting near the bottom of the batting order, but there is plenty of time to move his way up the lineup if he produces offensively. He's currently rostered in 41% of Yahoo leagues, but he'll become a priority waiver addition if he starts putting up numbers in Baltimore.

Boston Red Sox outfielder Ceddanne Rafaela (hamstring) is back in center field and will bat out of the two-hole for Tuesday's game against the hosting Kansas City Royals and left-hander Bailey Falter, according to MLB.com. Rafaela was not in the starting nine for Monday's series opener against the Royals, but he entered as a defensive replacement, and now he's back in the starting lineup for Game 2 at Kauffman Stadium. Get him back into your starting lineups in all traditional formats on Tuesday.

New York Yankees right-hander Gerrit Cole (elbow) will come off the 15-day injured list to make his 2026 season debut on Friday against the division-rival Tampa Bay Rays, manager Aaron Boone told Chris Kirschner of The Athletic. St. Louis Cardinals shortstop Masyn Winn (knee) is still bothered by his knee injury and is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the division-rival Pittsburgh Pirates at Busch Stadium, according to MLB.com. Minnesota Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers (hand) will have surgery to fix a broken hamate bone in his left hand and is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks, general manager Jeremy Zoll told The Athletic's Aaron Gleeman. The Twins placed Jeffers on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday after he injured his hand in an at-bat late in Monday night's win over the visiting Houston Astros. It's a really tough break for Jeffers and the Twins, as he was hitting .295 (36-for-122) this year with seven home runs, 26 RBI, 26 runs scored, a stolen base, a .408 on-base percentage, a .541 slugging percentage, and a .949 OPS in 37 games across 148 plate appearances. In a best-case scenario, Jeffers might be able to return to the big-league roster in early July. In the meantime, veteran Victor Caratini should do most of the catching for the Twins, with Alex Jackson backing him up. Fantasy managers should be looking to avoid the catching situation in Minnesota with Jeffers out for an extended period of time.

Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Emmanuel Rodriguez (thumb), who is currently on the seven-day injured list at Triple-A St. Paul, needs surgery after an MRI exam showed a UCL tear in his left thumb, according to Dan Hayes of The Athletic. It's a tough break for the 23-year-old, who is considered the team's No. 4 prospect per MLB Pipeline. Rodriguez was hitting .247 (20-for-81) for the Saints with six home runs, 18 RBI, 15 runs scored, and three stolen bases in 25 games across 108 plate appearances at the time of his injury. Thumb injuries have been a problem for him, as he had surgery for a right-thumb injury in 2024 and also missed some time last year with a left-thumb ailment. The Dominican outfielder is quickly losing steam in dynasty/keeper leagues as a stash candidate due to durability concerns. Rodriguez has yet to play in 100 games down on the farm in a single season since he became a professional in 2021. His most recent thumb injury could very well cost him the rest of the 2026 season.

Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (hip) is returning to the team's starting lineup on Tuesday night against the visiting Houston Astros and right-hander Lance McCullers Jr. at Target Field, according to Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic. Buxton is finally back in action after missing almost a full week due to soreness in his right hip flexor.
