Adames was placed on the injured list in late August due to a left elbow sprain and wound up missing the remainder of the 2026 regular season. He will definitely need to test his calf by running the bases before then.

In 202 career postseason plate appearances, Stanton has hit .254 with 18 home runs, 44 RBI, 20 walks, and 49 strikeouts.
