Coby White Wed Jan 14 7:10pm

Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (calf) will play 28-30 minutes on Wednesday against the Utah Jazz, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports. The 25-year-old is back in the lineup after sitting out the front end of a back-to-back on Tuesday against the Houston Rockets. White has played more than 30 minutes just four times this season, so he will essentially have his regular workload on Wednesday night. In the first meeting with the Jazz this season, White posted 27 points and eight assists in 30 minutes.

Julian Phillips Wed Jan 14 7:10pm

Chicago Bulls forward Julian Phillips (wrist) won't play on Wednesday against the Utah Jazz. The 22-year-old is bothered by a wrist sprain and will sit out both games during a back-to-back. He was initially considered questionable for Wednesday night. Phillips has averaged around 12 minutes per game in January, and his minutes will mainly be soaked up by Patrick Williams. Williams is coming off a zero-point dud against the Houston Rockets and isn't a recommended fantasy option.

Paul George Wed Jan 14 6:50pm

Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Paul George (knee) will suit up for Wednesday's tilt against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The injury-prone star was listed as probable on the initial injury report before the team upgraded him to available. Due to poor shooting efficiency, George has struggled to put together big fantasy lines. Across six January appearances, he has averaged 15.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.3 steals.

VJ Edgecombe Wed Jan 14 6:40pm

Philadelphia 76ers guard VJ Edgecombe (adductor) is active for Wednesday's clash against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The 20-year-old is dealing with a left adductor contusion, but the issue won't keep him out of action versus Cleveland. The 20-year-old rookie has been producing solid numbers during his first NBA campaign, posting averages of 16.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.6 steals in 36.1 minutes per contest across 34 outings.

Kelly Oubre Jr. Wed Jan 14 6:40pm

Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Kelly Oubre Jr. (illness) will play on Wednesday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was added to the injury report late due to illness. Now, the team has upgraded Oubre Jr.'s status to available. The veteran has featured in four games since returning from a knee injury, averaging 5.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in 24.5 minutes. While Oubre Jr.'s production has been underwhelming, his workload has been increasing, and it should eventually show in his numbers. He logged 30-plus minutes in both games during a recent back-to-back against the Toronto Raptors.

Joel Embiid Wed Jan 14 6:40pm

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee, adductor) will be in the lineup on Wednesday versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. The former MVP has been upgraded from probable to available. Embiid faces a tough night against Cleveland's well-equipped frontcourt, but he has been highly effective. In January, Embiid has averaged 26.2 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 3.7 assists, with 55.3 percent shooting from the field.

Christian Braun Wed Jan 14 6:30pm

Denver Nuggets guard/forward Christian Braun (ankle) will miss a third consecutive game on Wednesday versus the Dallas Mavericks. The 24-year-old is currently sidelined by a left ankle sprain that has already cost him almost two months this season. Tim Hardaway Jr. looks set to have a large role on Wednesday night, especially with Bruce Brown (knee) also not at 100 percent and questionable to play. Hardaway Jr. has thoroughly enjoyed his meetings with his former team this season, averaging 18.0 points on 44.4 percent three-point shooting against Dallas.

Herbert Jones Wed Jan 14 6:30pm

New Orleans Pelicans forward Herbert Jones (ankle) will be sidelined for a fifth consecutive game on Wednesday night against the Brooklyn Nets. He was labeled day-to-day earlier this week, but a right ankle sprain will keep Jones out for both games of a back-to-back. His next chance to return will come on Friday against the Indiana Pacers. Saddiq Bey returned to the lineup on Tuesday night against the Denver Nuggets and will help fill the void left by Jones. Additionally, Jordan Hawkins and Micah Peavy are playing more significant roles for the team.

Lauri Markkanen Wed Jan 14 6:20pm

Utah Jazz forward Lauri Markkanen (illness) will miss Wednesday's game against the Chicago Bulls. He was a late addition to the injury report due to illness and won't be in action in the first leg of a back-to-back. Kevin Love (rest) will also be missing from the frontcourt, making Kyle Filipowski an attractive fantasy target. Due to Markkanen's absence, Taylor Hendricks and Brice Sensabaugh may also see additional playing time. Meanwhile, Keyonte George will lead the offense in a good fantasy matchup against a team that can't defend.

Ivica Zubac Wed Jan 14 6:20pm

Los Angeles Clippers center Ivica Zubac (ankle) won't be in action against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night. He tweaked his left ankle in Monday's win over the Charlotte Hornets and will miss at least one game because of the injury. Zubac's absence might result in Yanic Konan Niederhauser rejoining the rotation, though Brook Lopez and John Collins are expected to do the heavy lifting at the number five position. The Clippers' frontcourt will face an opponent that has allowed more fantasy points to centers than any other team this season.

Sandro Mamukelashvili Wed Jan 14 6:20pm

Tony East of Forbes.com reports that Toronto Raptors forward/center Sandro Mamukelashvili (illness) will miss Wednesday's matchup with the Indiana Pacers. Mamukelashvili is under the weather and will miss his second game this campaign. In recent weeks, the 26-year-old big man has seen extra playing time with Jakob Poeltl (back) on the shelf. He's posted averages of 9.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 23.8 minutes per contest during January. With Mamukelashvili sidelined, Jonathan Mogbo and Jamison Battle will likely be relied upon more than usual. Current starting center Collin Murray-Boyles could take on extra minutes as well.

Immanuel Quickley Wed Jan 14 6:10pm

According to Tony East of Forbes.com, Toronto Raptors guard Immanuel Quickley (back) will miss Wednesday's matchup with the Indiana Pacers. The 26-year-old, who is dealing with back spasms, will be out of action for only the second game this season. While Quickley is on the shelf, Jamal Shead could be seen as a solid streaming option, as he will likely get extra minutes and scoring opportunities. Shead finished with 22 points and six assists across 37 minutes against the Sixers on Sunday.

Zach Edey Wed Jan 14 5:50pm

Memphis Grizzlies center Zach Edey (ankle) continues to recover from a stress reaction in his left ankle and will continue rehabilitation before being re-evaluated in six weeks. The 23-year-old big man has been out of action since Dec. 11 and despite rehabbing for over a month, it appears he will need another six weeks before he's able to return. Brandon Clarke (calf) will also miss a significant amount of time, so Jock Landale will continue to be relied upon to start at center. Landale has appeared in 37 games this season, averaging 11.1 points and 6.3 rebounds across 22.6 minutes per contest.

Nikola Jokic Wed Jan 14 5:30pm

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic was cleared to resume on-court workouts on Wednesday. The three-time NBA MVP has been dealing with a left knee bone bruise that has kept him out of action since Dec. 29. At that time, he was expected to be re-evaluated in four weeks. However, Charnia reports Jokic is "right on schedule, if not a little ahead of schedule" with his projected recovery timeline. Fantasy managers will likely see the Serbian big man make his return at the end of the month or in early February.

Trae Young Wed Jan 14 5:10pm

According to Shams Charania of ESPN, Washington Wizards point guard Trae Young (knee, quadriceps) will be re-evaluated following the mid-February All-Star break. The talented playmaker is still recovering from MCL and quad injuries in his right leg. The Wizards are staying on the cautious side with their newly acquired 27-year-old star guard, and his debut in DC will likely be delayed for at least a month. With Young out of action for the forseeable future, youngsters Bub Carrington and Tre Johnson will continue to carry heavier workloads.

Franz Wagner Wed Jan 14 8:40am

Orlando Magic forward Franz Wagner (ankle) is set to return to action on Thursday against the Memphis Grizzlies. The team has removed Wagner from the injury report ahead of the game. It will be a special matchup for Wagner, as the Magic and Grizzlies face off in his hometown of Berlin, Germany. It will be the NBA's first-ever regular-season game in Germany. Wagner has missed more than a month due to an ankle injury, so he will likely be under a minute restriction on Thursday. However, it will be great to see him back. Wagner's return will reduce playing time for Noah Penda and Tristan da Silva and shift the offensive dynamics.

Dean Wade Wed Jan 14 8:30am

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade (knee) won't suit up on Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers. He will miss a fourth consecutive game due to a left knee contusion. During Wade's absence, Sam Merrill has moved back to the first unit, sinking eight triples over the last two games while averaging 17.0 points. Nae'Qwan Tomlin, Jaylon Tyson, and De'Andre Hunter have seen more minutes off the bench. Merrill's form faces a stern test on Wednesday night, as Philadelphia has limited opponents to 33.5 percent three-point shooting, the second-lowest percentage in the league.

    Ja'Kobe Walter Wed Jan 14 8:20am

Toronto Raptors guard/forward Ja'Kobe Walter (hip) won't play on Wednesday night against the Indiana Pacers. He hurt his right hip on Sunday against the Philadelphia 76ers and won't be available for a second consecutive game. Due to RJ Barrett's (ankle) absence, Walter started on Sunday. After he joined Barrett in the infirmary, Jamal Shead maintained a starting role in Monday's rematch against Philadelphia, but he had a disappointing evening with three points, one rebound, six assists, and two steals. Shead will probably remain in the first unit on Wednesday, and he will be in a good spot for a bounce-back performance.

Brandon Williams Wed Jan 14 8:10am

Dallas Mavericks point guard Brandon Williams (illness) is considered questionable for Wednesday's contest against the Denver Nuggets. He's in danger of missing a third consecutive game due to illness. Ryan Nembhard and Jaden Hardy have additional fantasy value with Williams on the shelf. Dallas has given both players a look in the starting unit, with Hardy starting the most recent game. He amassed 14 points and two rebounds in a 113-105 win over the Brooklyn Nets. Meanwhile, Nembhard contributed nine points and eight assists off the bench.

Sandro Mamukelashvili Wed Jan 14 8:10am

Toronto Raptors forward/center Sandro Mamukelashvili (illness) may skip Wednesday's meeting with the Indiana Pacers, as he is considered questionable for the game. Mamukelashvili has picked up an illness bug, putting him at risk of missing his second game of the season. In recent weeks, Mamukelashvili has had a larger role in the rotation due to Jakob Poeltl's (back) absence. The 26-year-old has averaged 9.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists across 23.8 minutes per game in January. If Mamukelashvili doesn't shake off his illness by game time, Jonathan Mogbo and Jamison Battle could see more action. Current starting center Collin Murray-Boyles will probably also soak up some of his minutes.
