Alex Smith Nov 20 5:50pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith had his worst game of the season in the 12-9 loss to the New York Giants in Week 11. Smith completed 27-of-49 passes for 230 yards with zero touchdowns and two interceptions. It was a favorable matchup for Smith especially coming out of a bye week. Smith is beginning to become a boom-or-bust type of player. He should be in for a bounce back game in Week 12 against a struggling Buffalo Bills defense.

Kareem Hunt Nov 20 5:50pm ET

Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt was once again slowed down after his red-hot start to begin the season. Hunt rushed 18 times for 73 yards and failed to find the end zone in the 12-9 loss to the New York Giants in Week 11. Hunt hasn't found the end zone since Week 3, and it's beginning to become a problem. Head coach Andy Reid needs to find ways to get Hunt the ball. He'll be in line for a good game against a shaky Buffalo Bills defense in Week 12.

Sammy Watkins Nov 20 5:40pm ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Sammy Watkins was held to under 40 yards for the fifth time this season in the 24-7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11. He caught three-of-four targets for 36 yards and failed to find the end zone. Watkins caught a touchdown each of the last two weeks which salvaged his fantasy day. Xavier Rhodes slowed down Watkins and most corners have done a great job of that this season. It won't get any easier as Watkins heads into a game against a tough Saints secondary in Week 12.

Cooper Kupp Nov 20 5:30pm ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp had a decent fantasy day, but his real-life game was disappointing. Kupp caught six-of-seven targets for 64 yards and zero touchdowns in the 24-7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Kupp lost a fumble at the Vikings two-yard line when the game was still tied 7-7 in the first half. He also dropped a 3rd-and-10 pass that would've put the Rams in the red zone. He's a WR3 against the Saints in Week 12, but his lack of efficiency may lead to less targets.

Todd Gurley Nov 20 5:20pm ET

Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley didn't have much running room in the 24-7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11. He rushed 15 times for 37 yards and one touchdown in Sunday's defeat. He added three receptions for 19 yards on four targets. Gurley scored the touchdown on the opening drive, and basically never saw the red zone again. He was still able to put together a decent fantasy day despite little running room. He'll head into another tough game against the Saints in Week 12.

Robert Woods Nov 20 5:20pm ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods continued his impressive stretch of play on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. Woods caught 8-of-11 targets for 81 yards and zero touchdowns in the 24-7 loss to Minnesota. The 11 targets lead the Rams team, but he came back down to Earth after having two monstrous games the two weeks prior. Woods left the game in the fourth quarter with a shoulder issue, and the team believes it's not too serious. The team will run some tests and have a better idea when they head to the practice field on Wednesday. If healthy Woods is a WR2 against the Saints in Week 12.

Robert Woods Nov 20 5:20pm ET

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Robert Woods (shoulder) is not dealing with structural damage, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports. Woods went down in the fourth quarter against the Vikings, but his shoulder issue is not considered serious and he could potentially play through it without missing time. There should be more clarity on Woods when the Rams return to practice Wednesday, but it looks like a bullet was dodged for fantasy owners.

Erik Swoope Nov 20 5:10pm ET

Indianapolis Colts tight end Erik Swoope (knee) participated in practice on Monday and is on track to suit up for the team's Week 12 matchup with the Tennessee Titans, per Zak Keefer of the Indy Star. Swoope won't make much of a fantasy impact out the gate, as he will still operate in sub-packages behind No. 1 tight end Jack Doyle. However, quarterback Jacoby Brissett will ultimately benefit from Swoope's vertical playmaking ability as he reingratiates himself with the offense. He isn't worth rostering for 2017.

Jared Goff Nov 20 5:10pm ET

Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff came back down to Earth in the Week 11 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Goff was on fire in his last two games heading into Week 11, but the Vikes kept him grounded. Goff completed 23 of 37 passes for 225 yards with zero touchdowns and zero interceptions. It was a quiet game for Goff, who failed to throw a passing touchdown for the first time since Week 5. He would've had a passing touchdown, but wide receiver Cooper Kupp fumbled it at the two-yard line. Goff will be in line for another tough game against the New Orleans Saints in Week 12.

Sterling Shepard Nov 20 5:00pm ET

New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard (illness) and running back Orleans Darkwa (hamstring) were both limited in practice Monday. Shepard was a surprise inactive in Week 11 due to migraines, and there is no guarantee he'll be ready on a short week against Washington this Thursday. If he does return, though, Shepard is a must-start in a great matchup. If he doesn't play, Tavarres King and Roger Lewis will continue to help fill in, although neither is more than a WR4/5 option in deeper leagues. Darkwa has had at least 70 yards and 14 carries in each of the last three games and has been a productive RB2 for fantasy owners. Keep track of his practice status the rest of his week, but he should be good to go, barring a setback.

Andre Ellington Nov 20 5:00pm ET

The Arizona Cardinals released running back Andre Ellington on Monday after he was a surprise healthy inactive in Week 11 against the Texans. D.J. Foster, who was active in Ellington's place Sunday, will take over Ellington's role as the backup to lead back Adrian Peterson. Foster had only two catches for 26 yards on nine offensive snaps in Week 11, so he's not a notable fantasy asset unless Peterson is injured.

Kelvin Benjamin Nov 20 5:00pm ET

Updating a previous report, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin (knee) did not suffer damage to his ACL after undergoing an MRI exam, according to a source. However, he could miss some time, but his injury isn't a long-term concern. It's good news for Benjamin, but his owners need to start making alternate plans for at least Week 12. With Jordan Matthews (knee) also questionable after sitting out Week 11, rookie Zay Jones could be back on the map as a fantasy streamer against the Chiefs in a sweet matchup. Tight end Charles Clay, who has disappointed in his two games back, could also be a sleeper low-end TE1 streamer against KC.

Trevor Siemian Nov 20 4:30pm ET

Denver Broncos head coach Vance Joseph said all three quarterbacks -- Brock Osweiler, Paxton Lynch and Trevor Siemian -- are in the running to start in Week 12 against the Raiders. It just goes to show how broken the Broncos offense is in the wake of the firing of offensive coordinator Mike McCoy on Monday after the team's sixth straight loss. They can't seem to get any consistency under center. At this point, Lynch has to be the favorite to get some starts now that his right shoulder looks to finally be healthy. While he looked bad in two starts in his rookie season, the former first-rounder has the best arm strength and upside of the trio, at least in the long term. Lynch should be stashed in keeper leagues, but he'll be no better than a low-end QB2 if he's given the job.

Carson Palmer Nov 20 4:30pm ET

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer has had his cast removed today. However, he is still a long way away from getting back on the field. Until Palmer returns, it appears that Blaine Gabbert and Drew Stanton will be quarterbacks for the team. Each is a low-end QB2, while Palmer brings a considerable upgrade to the position and should be considered a borderline QB1/2 should he return.

Jameis Winston Nov 20 3:20pm ET

Updating previous reports, Tampa Bay Rays quarterback Jameis Winston (shoulder) has not been cleared to throw by the medical staff and will be out at least through Week 12 against the Falcons, according to head coach Dirk Koetter. It's not looking like Winston will be available to start the fantasy playoffs in most leagues in Week 14, so he's certainly a drop candidate in redraft formats. Backup Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn't been pretty, but he's led Tampa to two straight wins and will once again be a QB2 option in the divisional matchup with Atlanta.

Blaine Gabbert Nov 20 3:10pm ET

Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians has stated that quarterback Blaine Gabbert will start until fellow quarterback Drew Stanton (knee) is fully healthy. Gabbert had a decent week last week in place of Stanton. Both quarterbacks have proven to be similar options to lead the Cardinals offense, making them low-end QB2s with weekly streaming upside, depending on the matchup. Gabbert won't be one to trust in Week 12 against the stingy Jaguars secondary.

John Brown Nov 20 3:10pm ET

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver John Brown is likely to miss time with turf toe, head coach Bruce Arians has explained. While it remains to be seen how much time the injury-plagued receiver will miss, this is concerning news for fantasy owners as Brown can't seem to shake the injury bug and hasn't been able to for the last two years. Brown is a WR3/4 with a low floor regardless of his injury status.

Jake Elliott Nov 20 3:00pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott is in the NFL's concussion protocol after being forced to leave Sunday night's game after the opening kickoff. The Eagles placed kicker Caleb Sturgis on injured reserve earlier this year and the assumption was that he would not be brought back thanks to the success of Elliott. With the rookie kicker now potentially not available though, the Eagles could decide to bring back Sturgis for the rest of the season. That decision will depend on how Elliott progresses through the protocol early this week.

Terrelle Pryor Nov 20 3:00pm ET

Washington Redskins wide receiver Terrelle Pryor (ankle) is undergoing ankle surgery. It's an exploratory procedure, so the timeline will be better understood once it is complete. In what has been an absolute disaster season for Pryor, we can at least consider the possibility that he has been playing through an ankle injury as an explanation for his lack of production. Whatever the explanation, Pryor hasn't been roster worthy for at least a month now, if not longer. Josh Doctson should continue to play the role of the Redskins primary deep threat.

Jacoby Brissett Nov 20 3:00pm ET

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett (concussion) is still in the league's concussion protocol after taking a hit to the head back in Week 10, but head coach Chuck Pagano still expects him to suit up against the Tennessee Titans in Week 12. Brissett has been a serviceable streaming option in recent weeks and draws a readily favorable matchup against Tennessee's lackluster pass defense, but his game time status should be monitored for fantasy owners looking to start him. He should be ranked as a QB2 with low-end QB1 upside.
