PITTSFORD, N.Y. (AP) - Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus says he is doing the best he can to straighten around his life after his career was nearly derailed by an offseason string of troubles.
Dareus added he's feeling good both physically and mentally, and is ''100 percent sure'' that everything will turn out fine.
The Bills' 2011 first-round draft pick declined to answer questions about his legal troubles in speaking publicly on Tuesday for the first time since late May.
He was arrested in early May on drug possession charges in his native Alabama. Four weeks later, Dareus was charged with reckless driving after crashing his 2012 Jaguar into a tree during an alleged car race outside Buffalo.
Dareus then missed the start of training camp in mid-July after failing his conditioning test.
