Kirk Cousins Sep 23 3:40pm ET

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins will try and bounce back from a horrific Week 2 performance this week against the Titans. Cousins posted, perhaps, one of his worst statistical lines of his career last week, completing only 11-of-26 passes for 113 yards and three interceptions. The veteran passer already has four interceptions on the season and will go up against a Titans Defense that is allowing the 18th most fantasy points to passers through two games. The Vikings are 0-2 and need a win desperately and their success in Week 3 will be tied to the play of Cousins. Until he can prove otherwise, Cousins should be a fantasy stay-away against the Titans.

Adam Thielen Sep 23 3:40pm ET

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen will try and get back on the right track in Week 3 against the Titans. After a promising Week 1, Thielen caught only three passes for 31 yards and the Vikings offense imploded against the Colts. The Vikings will now go up against a Titans Defense that has allowed the 15th most fantasy points to opposing receivers and have not allowed more than 84 yards to a receiver. The Vikings season already is on the line and will need to feature Thielen to achieve success. The veteran receiver will carry WR1 value, albeit with a low floor, in Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Mitch Trubisky Sep 23 3:30pm ET

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is off to an inconsistent start through the first two games. He has completed only 59.7% of his passes but has five touchdowns through his first six quarters of play. He will have a chance to improve upon those numbers against a Falcons Defense in Week 3 that currently is allowing the most fantasy points to opposing passers. It's early but Atlanta is allowing an astounding 386 passing yards a game, including three rushing touchdowns and five passing touchdowns. Trubisky is averaging only 216 passing yards this season but that is a number he should easily eclipse in Week 3. Trubisky has a shot at posting top-15 fantasy numbers among quarterbacks and should be a solid QB2 against the Falcons.

    D.J. Chark Sep 23 3:23pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR DJ Chark Jr. (back, chest) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 23, and is listed as questionable for Week 3.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players should check the inactive list for Chark's official status. He can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option if he is able to play, but players will need other options available in case he is ruled out.

    From TheHuddle

Josh Lambo Sep 23 3:23pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars PK Josh Lambo (hip) will be placed on the Reserve/Injured list because of a hip injury, according to head coach Doug Marrone.

    From TheHuddle

Matthew Stafford Sep 23 3:20pm ET

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford could surprise in fantasy heading into the team's Week 3 matchup against the Cardinals. It has been a brutal start for the Lions combined with mediocre production from the Lions offense. Stafford, through two games, has passed for three touchdowns, two interceptions and is completing only 58.7% of his passes. He will go up against a Cardinals Defense that is allowing the seventh fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. But Arizona has lined up against Jimmy Garoppolo and Dwayne Haskins Jr., two quarterbacks that do not enjoy the talent that Stafford possesses. With star receiver Kenny Golladay returning to practice and on course to play in Week 3, Stafford could finally fulfill the fantasy buzz he garnered in the offseason.

    From RotoBaller

Philadelphia Eagles Sep 23 3:10pm ET

The Philadelphia Eagles Defense will look to bounce back after a rough Week 2 performance in their Week 3 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Eagles defense allowed the Rams to score 37 points last week, with Rams quarterback Jared Goff looking comfortable all game. The Eagles only recorded one sack. Going up against the Bengals this week, who have one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL, the Eagles should theoretically play well, but they've been too inconsistent even through just two weeks to trust as a high-end defense. They're somewhere in the 12-15 range of fantasy defenses in Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Davante Adams Sep 23 3:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) will be questionable heading into Week 3, but his injury may not be as serious as many thought last Sunday. Adams is the unquestioned No. 1 receiver on the team and was held out of the second half of the Packers 42-21 win over the Lions with the injury. But head coach Matt LaFleur downplayed the severity, telling reporters: "I know he wanted to go back in the game. I just told him, 'Hey, let's see how these next few series go and see if we need you.' ... If we don't need him, we didn't want to put him back in a position to do further harm to his own body." So the fact that the coaching staff was considering clearing him to return to play during the game should give fantasy managers a sigh of relief. Adams' status will need to be monitored all the way through the week, perhaps up to game time against the Saints.

    From RotoBaller

Aaron Rodgers Sep 23 3:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is off to a hot start and will have a prime chance to keep it going in Week 3 against the Saints. Through two games, Rodgers already has six touchdowns, zero interceptions and 604 yards. The future Hall of Famer will go up against a Saints Defense that has already allowed five touchdowns and an average of 260.5 passing yards to Tom Brady and Derek Carr. No offense to Brady, but Rodgers is still a different breed of quarterback at the respective stages of their careers. Rodgers' fantasy value could be affected by the availability of star receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) but the veteran passer should be considered a QB1 for Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Jalen Reagor Sep 23 3:00pm ET

The Philadelphia Eagles are saying that rookie wide receiver Jalen Reagor (thumb) is dealing with a UCL tear in his thumb. The first-round pick left the game in the Week 2 loss to the Rams but returned and played through the injury. With Reagor expected to miss a few weeks, the Eagles are expected to place him on the Injured Reserve, which means he'd have to miss at least three games. The talented 21-year-old out of TCU had five catches on eight targets for 96 yards through the first two weeks, and his role was growing before the injury. DeSean Jackson will continue to function as the team's No. 1 wideout, with J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, Greg Ward and John Hightower battling for playing time after that. Reagor has the talent to make it worth stashing him in deeper leagues, and fantasy managers in dynasty/keeper leagues should definitely be holding him.

    From RotoBaller

Dallas Goedert Sep 23 3:00pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert remains a TE1 option in fantasy lineups despite a struggling offense and the presence of Zach Ertz. Goedert was excellent in Week 1 before taking a step back in Week 2, but he was actually on the field more in Week 2. In Week 1, Goedert saw 79% of the team's offensive snaps, which went up to 89% in Week 2. The Eagles offense seems like it is going to be run through the running backs and tight ends, so there will be plenty of targets to go around for both tight ends. Ertz is the preferred play by a slight margin, but Goedert is still a solid, high-upside TE1 option.

    From RotoBaller

Jake Elliott Sep 23 3:00pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott is a mid-range kicking option for a Week 3 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals. Elliott has made three of his four field goal tries and all of his extra points so far this year. With the Eagles offense sure (maybe?) to get better this season, Elliott could improve in the rankings, but for now he's somewhere in the middle of the pack.

    From RotoBaller

    JJ Arcega-Whiteside Sep 23 2:40pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver J.J. Arcega-Whiteside has been phased out of the offense and doesn't play on special teams at this point either. Despite a decent bit of hype around the second-year wide out before the season, Arcega-Whiteside has yet to catch a football in 2020. He was on the field for 41% of the offensive snaps in Week 1 and only 23% in Week 2. He shouldn't be anywhere near a fantasy roster at this point in his career.

    From RotoBaller

Justin Herbert Sep 23 2:40pm ET

Los Angeles Chargers rookie quarterback Justin Herbert is expected to make his second straight start in Week 3 against the Panthers with Tyrod Taylor (lung) dealing with a punctured lung. Herbert had a costly interception late in Week 2, but he held his own and looked impressive on short notice against the Super Bowl champion Chiefs in an overtime loss. If the first-rounder puts on another solid performance in just his second NFL start, he could supplant Taylor as the Bolts starter under center, even though head coach Anthony Lynn said that Taylor is the starter when he's 100 percent healthy. Herbert has a great matchup this weekend, but he's still more of a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues.

    From RotoBaller

Zach Ertz Sep 23 2:40pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz is still a top-tier fantasy tight end option despite the emergence of Dallas Goedert in Week 1. Ertz was on the field for 85% of the offensive snaps in Week 1 and followed that up with a 94% clip in Week 2. The Eagles will run most of their offense through their two tight ends along with running back Miles Sanders. Ertz and Goedert are both TE1 options, with a slight preference going to Ertz if choosing between the two.

    From RotoBaller

Joe Webb Sep 23 2:23pm ET

Free-agent WR Joe Webb and C Marcus Martin were signed to the Detroit Lions practice squad Wednesday, Sept. 23.

    From TheHuddle

Greg Ward Sep 23 2:20pm ET

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Greg Ward is not a viable starting option in any standard format of fantasy football in Week 3. Ward saw only one target in Week 2, catching it for a five yard gain. He was slightly more involved in Week 1, but still wasn't able to do much, catching five passes for 31 unexciting yards. With the Eagles offense struggling as a whole, the third wide receiver on a team that often plays with two tight ends on the field is not much of a fantasy asset. Ward can be left on the waiver wire in shallower formats.

    From RotoBaller

Chase Young Sep 23 2:20pm ET

Cleveland Browns right tackle Jack Conklin (ankle) is over his ankle injury and is "ready to go" according to head coach Kevin Stefanski. Conklin appeared in the team's Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens but sat out last Thursday night in a Week 2 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. When asked, he said, "Ankles feeling great. Ill be back to 100% this week, rolling.'' Conklin's return is a big boost for the Browns as they get ready to contend with a Washington Football Team that employs a nasty defensive line, anchored by No. 2 overall pick Chase Young. Young is tied for the league lead with 2.5 sacks through two games. Conklin's return will also help the Cleveland running game, most specifically Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt as they try to improve to 2-1 on the season.

    From RotoBaller

Davante Adams Sep 23 2:13pm ET

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (hamstring) is not expected to practice Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Fantasy Spin: Adams' status for Week 3 is uncertain, but fantasy players will know more about his availability later in the week. He should be a starting option in all leagues if he is cleared to play.

    From TheHuddle

    Sep 23 1:53pm ET

Free-agent C Zach Shackelford and CB Ross Cockrell were signed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad Wednesday, Sept. 23.
