DaRon Bland Sep 21 6:20pm ET
    DaRon Bland

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (knee) suffered a torn ACL during practice on Thursday, an MRI exam confirmed, according to a source. Diggs will now miss the rest of the 2023 season. The Cowboys defense/special teams unit will still be a top play for the rest of the year, but losing Diggs is huge news going forward. The 26-year-old fourth-year defensive back had already forced two turnovers and had three passes defensed in the first two games of the season. With Diggs out the rest of the way, the Cowboys are prepared to move DaRon Bland to the outside across from corner Stephon Gilmore, with Jourdan Lewis now likely to operate at slot cornerback for the Cowboys.

Brandon Aiyuk Sep 21 6:10pm ET
    Brandon Aiyuk

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder), who is listed as questionable for the Thursday night game against the New York Giants, is not expected to play, according to a league source. Aiyuk injured his shoulder early in the Week 2 win over the Los Angeles Rams and ended up playing just over half of the offensive snaps after leaving the game for a while to be checked out. A CT scan ruled out a broken collarbone and he was able to practice some this week, but ultimately the Niners are expected to play it safe with Aiyuk and hold him out early in the year. With the 25-year-old out, Jauan Jennings and rookie Ronnie Bell will battle for a bigger role in the passing game for the Niners behind Deebo Samuel and tight end George Kittle. Consider Aiyuk questionable to return in Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Deshaun Watson Sep 21 6:10pm ET
    Deshaun Watson

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson struggled in a 26-22 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2, throwing a pick-six and losing a fumble that was returned 17 yards for a touchdown. He will look to bounce back at home against the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. Watson has a few things going for him this week as the Titans have been stout against the run but struggle to defend the pass. The Browns could use that, plus the fact that they lost Nick Chubb for the season, to dial up more passing plays for Watson and his receivers. Watson has not played well since taking over as QB for the Browns last season but he has enough working in his favor to treat as a high-end QB2 in fantasy for Week 3.

Bryce Young Sep 21 6:10pm ET
    Bryce Young

Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Bryce Young (ankle) missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday and is not expected to play in Week 3 on Sunday on the road against the Seattle Seahawks. Veteran Andy Dalton took first-team repetitions at practice on Thursday for the second day in a row with Young hurting, and he's now set for his first start of the season. It's doesn't sound like a particularly serious injury for the first overall pick of this year's draft, but the Panthers don't want to jeopardize his development by throwing him out there on an injured ankle. In a hostile environment, look for Carolina to lean on their ground game as much as possible with Dalton under center, which is good news for running backs Miles Sanders and Chuba Hubbard. Dalton will be a low-end QB2 option for those desperate in superflex leagues.

Jerome Ford Sep 21 6:10pm ET
    Jerome Ford

Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford filled in nicely in Week 2 after his team lost Nick Chubb for the season due to a major knee injury. Ford found the end zone on a reception and set the team up for another score with a 69-yard run down to the Pittsburgh one-yard line. He will look to repeat that success in Week 3's home matchup against the Tennessee Titans, although he may have a hard time doing so against a stout run defense. The Titans can be beat through the air but they are allowing the second-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing running backs through the first two games of the season. Fantasy gamers who picked Ford up off of waivers are likely anxious to insert him into their starting lineups but he is best left on the bench until a better matchup presents itself.

Chase McLaughlin Sep 21 5:40pm ET
    Chase McLaughlin

Tampa Bay Buccaneers kicker Chase McLaughlin has been a fairly reliable option through the first two weeks of the season. He had a field goal blocked during the second quarter of the Week 2 win over the Chicago Bears. Outside of that, McLaughlin has been perfect, which is great to see. However, McLaughlin hasn't seen many field goal chances this season, which is hurting his fantasy value. It probably isn't going to get any easier versus the tough Philadelphia Eagles defense in Week 3. Fantasy managers should be able to find a better streaming option for Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Chris Godwin Sep 21 5:30pm ET
    Chris Godwin

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin has surprisingly been off to a slow start to begin the season. Through two games, Godwin has 10 receptions for 109 yards and zero touchdowns. Right now, Godwin has been mainly a short yardage passing option, while Mike Evans is getting the deep balls. Despite his slow start, Godwin has the skills and potential to be a reliable contributor. However, he'll draw a tough matchup versus the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3. Oddly, the Eagles have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to wideouts this season. The expectation is that superstar defensive back Darius Slay will be on Evans this week. That means, Godwin will have an easier matchup which should lead to more success. That being said, Godwin is probably more of a WR3, but has WR2 upside for this matchup.

Cade Otton Sep 21 5:30pm ET
    Cade Otton

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton was surprisingly involved quite a bit during the Week 2 matchup with the Chicago Bears. The 24-year-old hauled in six receptions for 41 yards in the victory. The second-year tight end is beginning to build more chemistry with newcomer Baker Mayfield. The hope is that Otton turns into a trusted underneath option for Mayfield this season. He'll head into a Week 3 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. A defensive unit that has struggled to contain the tight end position early in the season. That being said, Otton has some low-end streaming appeal to desperate fantasy managers looking for an option in Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Mike Evans Sep 21 5:20pm ET
    Mike Evans

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has put together back-to-back strong performances to open the season. The veteran wideout has hauled in 12 receptions for 237 yards and two touchdowns during the first two games of the season. The Bucs have targeted Evans heavy in the passing game and that is likely to continue going forward. Evans will now head into a matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3. A defensive unit that is normally solid, but has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing wideouts this season. That being said, Evans should remain in the WR2 conversation for the upcoming Monday night matchup.

    Tyler Kroft

Miami Dolphins RB Salvon Ahmed (groin) and WR Jaylen Waddle (concussion) did not participate in practice on Thursday, Sept. 21. OT Terron Armstead (back, ankle, knee), DB Elijah Campbell (knee), DT Raekwon Davis (wrist), TE Julian Hill (ankle), TE Tyler Croft (back) and LB Jaelan Phillips (back) were limited. WR Tyreek Hill (ankle) and LB Andrew Van Ginkel (rest) practiced in full. CB Xavien Howard (rest) was not given a practice designation.

Jamaal Williams Sep 21 5:13pm ET
    Jamaal Williams

New Orleans Saints RB Jamaal Williams (hamstring) did not participate in practice Thursday, Sept. 21.

Fantasy Spin: It seems like Williams will not be available for the Week 3 game and could miss more time because of the injury. Tony Jones Jr., Kendre Miller and Taysom Hill could all see carries in the game if Williams is unavailable. Hill can be a low-end No. 1 tight end, while Jones and Miller have a chance to be flex options in some deeper leagues.

Justin Watson Sep 21 5:13pm ET
    Justin Watson

Kansas City Chiefs LB Nick Bolton (ankle), WR Richie James (knee) and WR Kadarius Toney (toe) did not practice on Thursday, Sept. 21. In addition, LB Willie Gay (quadriceps) and RB Isiah Pacheco (hamstring) were limited and CB L'Jarius Sneed (knee), OT Jawaan Taylor (shoulder), CB Nic Jones (hand), WR Justin Watson (ankle) and CB Jaylen Watson (shoulder) practiced in full.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers LB SirVocea Dennis (hamstring) and DL Calijah Kancey (calf) did not participate in practice on Thursday, Sept. 21. CB Carlton Davis (toe), S Ryan Neal (ribs, knee) and DT Vita Vea (pectoral) were limited.

Rachaad White Sep 21 5:10pm ET
    Rachaad White

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White struggled during the season opener, but looked much better in Week 2. Last week, White topped over 100 total yards and scored a touchdown in the victory over the Chicago Bears. The Bucs have made it known they want to pound the ball with White. He has 17 rushing attempts in both games to start the season. The expectation is that the Bucs are going to continue giving him the ball. However, White is likely to struggle versus the Philadelphia Eagles defense in Week 3. A defensive unit that has allowed the fifth fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. That being said, fantasy managers should consider White a possible flex option for this upcoming matchup.

Carlos Watkins Sep 21 5:03pm ET
    Carlos Watkins

Arizona Cardinals DE Carlos Watkins (biceps) and LB Josh Woods (ankle) did not participate in practice on Thursday, Sept. 21. DT Leki Fotu (shoulder) was limited. OT Kelvin Beachum (hand) practiced in full.

    From TheHuddle

DeAndre Hopkins Sep 21 5:03pm ET
    DeAndre Hopkins

Updating a previous report, Tennessee Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins (ankle) was officially limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 21.

Fantasy Spin: Hopkins may have been receiving some rest during the practice week, but fantasy players will know more after practice Friday, Sept. 22. He should still be a starting option in fantasy leagues if active for the game.

    From TheHuddle

Robert Woods Sep 21 5:03pm ET
    Robert Woods

Houston Texans LB Denzel Perryman (hand, wrist), S Jalen Pitre (chest), CB Tavierre Thomas (hand) and CB Derek Stingley Jr. (hamstring) did not participate in practice on Thursday, Sept. 21. OT Laremy Tunsil (knee) was limited. WR Tank Dell (thigh), OT George Fant (ankle, knee), DE Jonathan Greenard (knee), S Eric Murray (concussion), QB C.J. Stroud (shoulder), S Jimmie Ward (hip) and WR Robert Woods (rest) practiced in full.

    From TheHuddle

Baker Mayfield Sep 21 5:00pm ET
    Baker Mayfield

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield is coming off his first 300-yard passing game in nearly two years. So far, the Mayfield experiment has worked out for the Bucs through the first two games of the season. Heading into Week 3, Mayfield has thrown for nearly 500 yards and three touchdowns without an interception. Now, he'll head into a Week 3 matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. A defensive unit that has allowed the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. Despite that, the Eagles still have a dangerous defense, so Mayfield should be considered a QB2 for this game.

    From RotoBaller

Odell Beckham Jr. Sep 21 4:53pm ET
    Odell Beckham Jr.

Baltimore Ravens WR Odell Beckham Jr. (ankle), RB Justice Hill (foot), CB Marlon Humphrey (foot), C Tyler Linderbaum (ankle), LB Odafe Oweh (ankle), OT Ronnie Stanley (knee) and S Marcus Williams (pectoral) did not participate in practice on Thursday, Sept. 21. LB Jadeveon Clowney (illness) and WR Devin Duvernay (shoulder) practiced in full.
