Darren Waller Dec 6 3:20pm ET
    Darren Waller

New York Giants tight end Darren Waller (hamstring) said he's been running routes and that his hamstring is feeling good. He expects to return to practice next week and is hoping he can play against the New Orleans Saints in Week 15 if all goes well in his return to the field. Waller has been hurt by a nagging hamstring injury in his first year in the Big Apple and was put on Injured Reserve after aggravating his hammy in Week 8. Although quarterback Daniel Jones (knee) is done for the year, Waller still has a shot to return to help fantasy managers in the playoffs as a big-bodied target for either rookie quarterback Tommy Devito or Tyrod Taylor down the stretch. Daniel Bellinger has had a bigger role with Waller sidelined, but he hasn't made a fantasy impact at all. Pick Waller up now if he's available on your league's waiver wire.

Hayden Hurst Dec 6 3:10pm ET
    Hayden Hurst

Carolina Panthers tight end Hayden Hurst (concussion) returned to practice in a limited fashion on Wednesday. The veteran suffered a concussion several weeks ago and has not practiced since Week 10. His participation in practice this week is a good sign for his potential return, but he will remain off the fantasy radar against the New Orleans Saints in Week 14. The Panthers offense is one of the worst units in the NFL, and Hurst was unproductive when he was healthy this season. Despite New Orleans allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends this season, Hurst can be left on the waiver wire.

Dallas Goedert Dec 6 3:10pm ET
    Dallas Goedert

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm), who hasn't played since fracturing his forearm in Week 9, sounds ready to return in a pivotal divisional clash this Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys. "Dallas in Dallas has a ring to it. I'm really glad I'm able to go and put everything else to bed and get out there and play football again," Goedert said. We'll have a better idea of how ready Goedert is to return once the Eagles release their practice reports this week, but if he's starting on Sunday, fantasy managers everywhere will want to get him back into their starting lineups as a TE1. Goedert's eventual return will most likely hurt receiver DeVonta Smith the most, as he has seen a steady target increase with Goedert on the sideline in recent weeks.

    D'Onta Foreman Dec 6 3:00pm ET
    D'Onta Foreman

Chicago Bears running back D'Onta Foreman (ankle) is practicing in full on Wednesday coming off of the team's Week 13 bye. Foreman was injured during the Week 12 loss to the Detroit Lions and was held out of Week 12 due to an ankle injury. His Wednesday practice status is a good sign for his return, but it could make things difficult for fantasy managers. Foreman, Khalil Herbert, and rookie Roschon Johnson could all split touches against the Lions in Week 14.

Kareem Hunt Dec 6 2:20pm ET
    Kareem Hunt

Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt (groin) is not practicing on Wednesday due to a groin injury. The veteran ball-carrier has not missed a game this year since signing back with the organization in Week 3, but he has often been on the injury report. He has spent the season sharing time with Jerome Ford in the backfield, leading to him failing to post double-digit fantasy points (half-PPR) in each of his last four games. If he does play in Week 14, view him as a low-end flex play against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are a neutral matchup for running backs. If he's out, Ford should see a boost in his fantasy outlook, and Pierre Strong Jr. will enter the fantasy radar as a deep-league flex option.

Trevor Lawrence Dec 6 2:20pm ET
    Trevor Lawrence

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence (ankle) is not practicing on Wednesday after suffering a high-ankle sprain in the loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13. Lawrence's ankle was stepped on by one of his offensive linemen, leading to him missing the end of the overtime loss. The Jaguars have not ruled him out for the Week 14 contest against the Cleveland Browns yet, but there's a good chance it will happen. In that case, veteran backup C.J. Beathard would draw a start under center. Calvin Ridley, Evan Engram, and Zay Jones could see reduced fantasy value without Lawrence, even with Christian Kirk (core) expected to miss the rest of the regular season.

Amari Cooper Dec 6 2:10pm ET
    Amari Cooper

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper (concussion/ribs) is not practicing on Wednesday. The veteran exited the Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams after taking a big hit and was evaluated for a concussion and rib injury. Although there's no update on whether he could play in Week 14 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, his absence from practice to begin the week is not a good sign. If he can't play, Elijah Moore will become an appealing flex option. Moore saw 12 targets in his first game with Joe Flacco, so his upside might be higher than it was with previous quarterbacks. The Jaguars have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season.

Treylon Burks Dec 6 1:50pm ET
    Treylon Burks

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said he's hoping to see more from wide receiver Treylon Burks on Monday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins as the team ramps him up. Burks missed three games with a concussion before returning in the Week 13 overtime loss to the Indianapolis Colts, where he played only nine offensive snaps and wasn't targeted at all. The Titans will probably have to take to the air often against Miami in Week 14, but even with increased snaps, it doesn't mean that Burks will suddenly be in play as a flex option for fantasy managers in the deepest of leagues. The 23-year-old former first-rounder has been a bust so far in his NFL career, catching just one touchdown pass and missing 12 of a possible 29 games due to injuries.

Isiah Pacheco Dec 6 1:40pm ET
    Isiah Pacheco

Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (shoulder) is not taking part in practice with the team on Wednesday. Pacheco is dealing with a shoulder contusion. It's probably not a serious enough injury to keep him from playing in the Week 14 battle against the Buffalo Bills, but fantasy managers should keep a close eye on Pacheco's practice status the rest of the week. As long as he returns to the field on Thursday or Friday, he should be fine. The 24-year-old has been used slightly more in recent weeks with Jerick McKinnon (groin) out, and he finished with 21 touches for 123 scrimmage yards and a touchdown in the Week 13 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Pacheco is the clear leader of KC's backfield and is a must-start in fantasy lineups as long as he's active.

Joshua Dobbs Dec 6 1:10pm ET
    Joshua Dobbs

The Minnesota Vikings are sticking with Joshua Dobbs as their starting quarterback for Week 14 against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Vikings considered a possible change at the position during their bye in Week 13, but with All-Pro receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring) returning from Injured Reserve this week, Dobbs will finally have the team's top offensive weapon to work with. Nick Mullens and rookie Jaren Hall were Minnesota's other options, so it was always more of a long shot that the Vikes would go away from Dobbs, who needs to cut down on his turnovers if he wants to keep the starting job the rest of this season. The 28-year-old is in a nice bounce-back spot as a QB2 with upside against Vegas this week after throwing four interceptions in the Week 12 loss to the Chicago Bears.

    From RotoBaller

Mike McCarthy Dec 6 1:00pm ET
    Mike McCarthy

Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy experienced abdominal pain Wednesday morning that warranted further evaluation and resulted in a diagnosis of acute appendicitis. McCarthy is scheduled for surgery Wednesday afternoon, is expected to be released from the hospital later on Wednesday and is anticipating coaching on Sunday night against the division-rival Philadelphia Eagles. Dallas' three coordinators will run the team's practice on Wednesday and until McCarthy returns. It's a bad week for the Cowboys to be without their head coach for any amount of time, but McCarthy's medical condition is unlikely to affect the Cowboys' on-field product this week in a game with a lot riding on it.

Aaron Rodgers Dec 6 1:00pm ET
    Aaron Rodgers

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) will not take part in practice on Wednesday. It's another planned day of rest for Rodgers, who could potentially still return in 2023 after tearing his Achilles in the season opener. However, if the Jets continue losing, it's unlikely we'll see the 40-year-old take the field late in the season, even if he's physically able to do so. The Jets are going back to former first-round QB Zach Wilson as their starter in Week 14 against the Houston Texans after he was benched the last two games in favor of Tim Boyle. Expect Rodgers to return to limited practice participation later this week, but those holding out hope that he'll return this year are probably going to be disappointed.

    From RotoBaller

Zach Wilson Dec 6 12:50pm ET
    Zach Wilson

New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson will start in Week 14 against the Houston Texans on Sunday. Tim Boyle started the team's last two losses but was benched after halftime of the Week 13 loss to the Atlanta Falcons for Trevor Siemian. Now the Jets will go back to Wilson, who has gone 3-6 in his nine starts for the Jets in his third NFL season. There were conflicting reports earlier this week about Wilson's reluctance to take the starting gig back after being benched in favor of Boyle in Week 12. With Aaron Rodgers (Achilles) unlikely to return again in 2023, Wilson should serve as the Jets' starter under center the rest of the way as he tries to put some good tape out there. He's probably an upgrade over Boyle and Siemian but should still be regarded as a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues. Wilson has completed 59% of his passes, has been sacked 38 times and has lost five fumbles in 2023.

Dawson Knox Dec 6 12:30pm ET
    Dawson Knox

The Buffalo Bills opened the 21-day practice window for tight end Dawson Knox (wrist) on Wednesday. It means the Bills now have 21 days to officially activate Knox from Injured Reserve. His status remains up in the air for Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills are hopeful that Knox will be able to return this weekend, but he hasn't played in a game since Week 7 and will need to prove he's ready in practices this week first. And even if Knox is activated from IR and available on Sunday, there's a good chance he'll have his snaps limited and will work well behind impressive rookie Dalton Kincaid at the tight end position. Given how well Kincaid has played in his first NFL season, Knox could take a back seat to the rookie for the rest of the season as a pass-catcher.

    From RotoBaller

Von Miller Dec 6 12:30pm ET
    Von Miller

Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane said that pass-rusher Von Miller is available to play in Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Miller isn't expected to be placed on the commissioner's exempt list after he was charged with felony domestic violence during the team's bye in Week 13. A suspension could be coming for the 34-year-old All-Pro eventually, but for now it looks like Miller will play this weekend in Kansas City. After blowing out his knee on Thanksgiving in 2022, Miller has been a shell of his former self and has become a rotational outside linebacker for Buffalo's defense. In eight games in his second year with the Bills, he has only two tackles (one solo) and no sacks.

Marcus Mariota Dec 6 12:20pm ET
    Marcus Mariota

The Philadelphia Eagles want to get their running game going in a Week 14 divisional showdown against the Dallas Cowboys this Sunday after getting embarrassed at home by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. The Eagles had 46 rushing yards in a 42-19 loss, with 26 of those yards coming from quarterbacks Jalen Hurts and Marcus Mariota. Offensive coordinator Brian Johnson said there has to be "a balancing act" between the score and the need "to continue to hammer attempts and try to get the guys in a good rhythm and a good flow." Philly is fifth in the NFL in rushing attempts in 2023, so we can be sure that they will keep handing the ball off to D'Andre Swift and Kenneth Gainwell. Swift suffered an undisclosed injury late in Sunday's loss, but he could be in for a big workload against Dallas if he's able to play.

    From RotoBaller

Elijah Moore Dec 6 12:20pm ET
    Elijah Moore

With Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper (concussion) potentially needing to sit out the Week 14 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, The Athletic's Zac Jackson says to expect Elijah Moore to continue to get plenty of looks from quarterback Joe Flacco. Moore and Flacco were teammates for two seasons with the New York Jets, and their connection was apparent in the Week 13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. In addition to Moore, tight end David Njoku and receivers Cedric Tillman and David Bell will have larger roles if Cooper is out this week. Over the last four weeks, Tillman has averaged just over 41 routes run per game, and Moore's average has been 39.5. Moore's 255 air yards in Week 13 were the most accumulated by any pass-catcher in a game this season. He also saw a career-high 12 targets from Flacco in the loss to LA.

Christian Kirk Dec 6 12:13pm ET
    Christian Kirk

Dynasty | Christian Kirk may require core surgery. Dynasty Analysis: It would likely mean the end of his regular season which, of course, also means his fantasy season. Kirk was on pace for his second1,000-yard campaign in as many years but, should he not return, will fall 213 yards short. Still only 27, he remains a viable WR3 asset in dynasty and is found as DLF's WR36.

Jonathan Taylor Dec 6 12:10pm ET
    Jonathan Taylor

When asked if it's safe to say that Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (thumb) will miss a second straight game in Week 14 against the Cincinnati Bengals, head coach Shane Steichen said, "We'll see." Steichen also said he didn't have any updates on Taylor after he had surgery last week on a thumb injury he suffered in Week 12. The 24-year-old was given a three- to five-week timetable after surgery, so it's highly unlikely Taylor is even in consideration to play this Sunday. Taylor should still be stashed in fantasy leagues in case he recovers quicker than expected, but Zack Moss should be expected to once again carry the load in Indy's backfield in Week 14 against a Bengals defense that is vulnerable against the run.

    From RotoBaller

Dallas Goedert Dec 6 11:10am ET
    Dallas Goedert

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (forearm) is expected to return to the lineup against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 14, according to Jeff McLane of the Inquirer. The veteran has been inactive since Week 9 after fracturing his foreman in the win over the Cowboys. If he plays, it'll be just in time for an important NFC East clash that could decide the division winner. He'll have an immediate TE1 outlook in fantasy football when he's active, but his floor is low given the target competition with A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith.
