Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry rushed 11 times for just 20 yards in the 27-3 loss to the Cleveland Browns. He did not catch a pass, so the 29-year-old obviously posted one of the worst games of his career. The Titans' offensive line was pushed around by the Browns' fierce defensive line and Henry never had any room to make something happen. After a game this disastrous, Henry has a floor even lower than expected. That said, it's far too early to take him out of "must-start" territory moving forward. He'll draw a matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones completed 15 of 29 passes for 201 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions against the New York Jets in Week 3. He also rushed for 13 yards. His biggest play was undoubtedly a 58-yard touchdown strike to Pharaoh Brown. Jones will remain a low-end fantasy QB2 heading into a difficult matchup versus the Cowboys next Sunday.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots running back Ezekiel Elliott rushed 16 times for 80 yards against the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon. He also delivered a seven-yard reception. When all was said and done, Elliott had three fewer carries than Rhamondre Stevenson but led the team in rushing yards. It's still hard to trust the veteran as a steady fantasy option going forward, but he could have occasional RB3/FLEX appeal based on matchup. The Patriots face a stout Cowboys defense in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill completed 13 of his 25 passing attempts for 104 yards, no touchdowns, and no interceptions in the blowout loss to the Cleveland Browns. The 35-year-old was sacked five times and was under constant pressure from Myles Garrett all game long. Tennessee's offensive line is a major issue and will make the floors of Tannehill and all the Titans' fantasy options low in 2023. Tannehill had plenty of fantasy success in 2020 and 2021, but he looks beyond his prime and is not on the fantasy radar in single-QB formats.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders quarterback Sam Howell completed 19-of-29 passes for 170 yards and four interceptions along with one carry for 18 yards in Sunday's loss to the Buffalo Bills. After a solid performance in Week 2, things couldn't have gone much worse for the former Tar Heel in Week 3. In addition to his woeful passing performance, Howell took nine sacks from the Bills' defense, upping his season total to 19 sacks in just three games. Although the Commanders are 2-1 heading into Week 4, it's going to be hard to consider them and Howell legitimate threats after this miserable outing. The second-year quarterback will hope to bounce back in Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson totaled 59 rushing yards on 19 carries against the New York Jets in Week 3. He also turned four targets into just one three-yard reception. Stevenson led the team with 20 opportunities but was out-produced by Ezekiel Elliott (87 scrimmage yards). The 25-year-old should continue to be viewed as a fantasy RB2 going forward, though next week's clash with the talented Cowboys could weaken his production.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper caught seven of his eight targets for 116 yards and a touchdown in a 27-3 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. Cooper put the game out of reach with a 43-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter on a play where he got wide open behind the defense and easily hauled in the deep pass for the score. The touchdown goes down as Cooper's first of the year. Through three games he has 17 catches on 25 targets for 243 yards. Cooper will be locked in as a top-20 wide receiver heading into Week 4's divisional matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson will remain the starter versus the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4, head coach Robert Saleh confirmed on Sunday. The comment came after Wilson went 18-for-36 with 157 yards, zero touchdowns, zero touchdowns, and three sacks in a 15-10 loss versus the Patriots. Wilson has twice as many interceptions as touchdowns this season and has struggled drastically, though it's worth noting that his two starts have come against incredibly strong defenses (Cowboys and Patriots). His job won't get any easier against an all-around strong Chiefs team on Sunday Night Football in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Elijah Moore caught all nine of his targets for 49 yards in a 27-3 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. Moore also lost a fumble and lost one yard on three carries in the blowout win. The veteran wideout has been heavily involved in the Cleveland offense through the first three games of the season as he has finished first or second in targets in each of Cleveland's contests, totaling 25 targets overall. Moore has yet to have a breakout game in 2023 but that could come in the near future if he continues to see heavy targets. He will face off against the Baltimore Ravens at home in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr (neck) was taken to a local hospital for additional evaluation after exiting Week 3 vs. Green Bay. The veteran received an X-ray at the stadium but will now undergo additional testing. Specifically, the medical staff will be looking for potential internal injuries. After Carr exited, Jameis Winston took over, completing 10 of 16 passes for 101 yards. New Orleans, which dropped to 2-1 after Sunday's loss, faces the Buccaneers next Sunday.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson completed 27 of his 33 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns while adding 16 yards on the ground in a 27-3 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. Watson bounced back from a rough Week 2 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers to shred the Titans on Sunday. He found Amari Cooper and Jerome Ford for his two touchdown tosses in the easy win over Tennessee. Watson now has thrown for 678 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions through three games. Now trending upwards, Watson will next take on the Baltimore Ravens at home.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams (knee) appeared to suffer a serious injury during Week 3 versus the Minnesota Vikings. He was helped off the field and carted to the locker room with a towel over his head. The talented wideout caught seven passes for 121 yards and one touchdown before departing. Amidst fears that this could be a long-term injury, Joshua Palmer and Quentin Johnson will likely see a significant increase in volume going forward.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford carried the ball 10 times for 18 yards and a touchdown while adding another 33 yards and a score on two catches in a 27-3 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. Ford has now found the end zone in consecutive games as he operates as the Browns' lead back with Nick Chubb sidelined for the season. Ford scored Cleveland's first touchdown in the second quarter on a 19-yard pass from Deshaun Watson and later crossed the goal line again on a three-yard run in the third quarter. Even with Kareem Hunt in the mix, Ford is settling in as an upside RB2 in fantasy moving forward. He will face off against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens running back Gus Edwards (head) is being evaluated for a concussion. The 28-year-old had picked up a solid 51 yards on 11 carries before exiting. With Justice Hill (toe) inactive this week, Baltimore's backfield will now be led by Melvin Gordon until Edwards is able to return.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears running back D'Onta Foreman (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Week 3 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. This is the second consecutive week that the veteran running back has been made inactive. Chicago will proceed with a combination of Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson leading its backfield.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr (shoulder) has been downgraded to out for the remainder of Week 3 versus the Green Bay Packers. He went to the locker room during the third quarter of Sunday's game and was initially listed as questionable to return. Now, his day is done. Prior to his injury, the 32-year-old had completed 13 of 18 passes for 103 yards and one touchdown. Jameis Winston will handle quarterback duties for the remainder of the contest.
From RotoBaller
Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (hamstring) and wide receiver Kadarius Toney (toe) are both active for Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears. They had been listed as questionable. Pacheco looked impressive with 70 yards on just 12 carries last week, and he ranks as a fringe top-24 fantasy running back with a very favorable matchup against the Bears this week. Toney, meanwhile, hauled in all five of his targets for 35 yards last Sunday but is best left on your bench for the time being.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr (shoulder) is questionable to return against the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. He exited during the third quarter of Sunday's game and was taken to the locker room. Prior to his injury, the 32-year-old had completed 13 of 18 passes for 103 yards and one touchdown. Jameis Winston will handle quarterback duties for New Orleans until Carr is able to return.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks tight end Will Dissly (shoulder) and cornerback Riq Woolen (chest) are inactive for Week 3 versus the Carolina Panthers. Both players had been listed as doubtful, so their absence comes as no surprise. Colby Parkinson should earn more snaps as the No. 2 tight end behind Noah Fant. Meanwhile, Tre Brown and Mike Jackson will acquire some of Woolen's workload.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks safety Jamal Adams (knee) is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers. The 27-year-old hasn't played in a game since Week 1 last year. While there was hope that he could return Sunday versus the Carolina Panthers, that won't be the case. The Seahawks face the Giants next week and are on bye in Week 5, meaning there's a possibility Adams doesn't return until Week 6. However, ESPN's Adam Schefter previously noted that the safety has a "strong chance" to play versus New York next Monday.
