Dynasty | The Giants have signed wide receiver Jamison Crowder. Dynasty Analysis: Crowder's play has really fallen off of late as he was replaced by Isaiah McKenzie for most of last season in Buffalo and only caught six passes for 60 yards on the season, battling an ankle injury in the process. The Giants already have Wan'Dale Robinson and Parris Campbell to man the slot. They also brought back both Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton, plus traded for Darren Waller this off-season. New York is clearly addressing a need for pass catchers, so it's hard to see just where Crowder fits in here. At this point, Crowder is unranked and that will likely remain unchanged.
Alabama quarterback Bryce Young had a strong throwing session at his Pro Day on Thursday. It may not have been an eye-popping day for the potential No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft, but his performance was smooth and lived up to expectations based on his outstanding play for Alabama in his two seasons as the starter. "There's never been a more instinctive guy," Alabama head coach Nick Saban said. "(Young) plays the quarterback position like a point guard -- he's got great instincts, great feel, can change arm angles, very accurate with the ball, really quick processor and decision-maker." If Young does come off the board at No. 1 overall in April, he'll be taking his talents to the Carolina Panthers and would likely be starting from Day 1.

The Carolina Panthers re-signed kicker Eddy Pineiro to an undisclosed two-year deal on Thursday, according to a source. Pineiro will return for his second season in Carolina after going 33-for-35 on his field-goal tries and 30-for-32 on extra-point attempts in 17 games. In addition to 2022 being his best in his third NFL campaign, Pineiro also went 15-for-16 from 40-plus yards. Even with Carolina's offense struggling to find a consistent quarterback all year, the 27-year-old was able to finish the year as a top-10 fantasy kicker. The Panthers offense could once again struggle to punch the ball into the end zone with a rookie signal-caller at the helm in 2023, so Pineiro should make a decent low-end fantasy kicking target this fall.

Former New Orleans Saints running back Tony Jones Jr. signed an undisclosed one-year deal with the Denver Broncos on Thursday, according to a source. Jones played in just six games last year between the Saints and Seattle Seahawks and had just 10 carries for 24 yards and five receptions for 30 yards. In the previous two seasons for the Saints, he combined for 57 carries, 155 yards and no touchdowns while adding five catches for 29 yards through the air in 12 games (five starts). Jones could have a slightly bigger role early on behind Samaje Perine for Denver if Javonte Williams (knee) isn't ready to go, but even in that scenario, Jones won't have much fantasy upside. The Broncos could also add to the position in the draft, which would further bury Jones on his new team's depth chart.

Dynasty | Free agent Ezekiel Elliott is reportedly garnering interest in the free agent market. Dynasty Analysis: Elliott himself says he's narrowed his decision to either the Eagles, Bengals, or Jets. We'll wait to see what actually happens, but it's clear Elliott has little desire to retire and wants to play for some kind of contender. His signing will be impactful one way or another, but it's way too early to speculate. It is interesting, however, to see the specific teams mentioned as it could indicate they're not done building their rosters at the position. Elliott has dropped all the way down to RB33 in our rankings and that's bound to change one way or another here soon.
Free-agent RB Ezekiel Elliott (Cowboys) is not having any talks with the Eagles at this time, and the Eagles are believed to be happy with their situation at running back, according to sources.
Fantasy Spin: Elliott has been linked to the Eagles, but the two sides are not talking. He likely will be part of a committee next season but could be at least a flex option in fantasy leagues depending on his situation.

Kentucky quarterback Will Levis is having dinner with Carolina Panthers owners David and Nicole Tepper, general manager Scott Fitterer, head coach Frank Reich, assistant GM Dan Morgan, vice president Samir Suleiman and assistant coaches Jim Caldwell, Thomas Brown and Josh McCown on Thursday, according to sources. Levis will throw during his school's Pro Day on Friday. While most pundits expect the Panthers to take either Alabama's Bryce Young or Ohio State's C.J. Stroud with the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft, they are doing their due diligence with another signal-caller projected to go early in the first round. The 23-year-old's numbers in college leave something to be desired, but he has a cannon for an arm and can also pick up yards with his legs. It would be a surprise if he isn't taken in the first 10 picks of next month's draft.

Former Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has narrowed down his options to the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets and Cincinnati Bengals, and he would like to make his decision on where to play next by the end of next week, according to sources. The Cowboys cut Elliott after seven seasons with the team. Although Zeke did have four 1,000-yard rushing campaigns in his time in Dallas, he had become much less explosive the last two years while losing valuable touches to Tony Pollard. The 27-year-old had a career-low 876 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on 231 carries last year, but he'll likely be more of a short-yardage, goal-line back wherever he lands next. Based purely on the teams' depth charts, the Bengals look to be the best fit for Elliott on paper.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released kicker Ryan Succop on Thursday. Succop spent the last three years with the Bucs, but he'll now look for work elsewhere heading into the 2023 season. In his time in Tampa, he made 84 of his 99 field-goal attempts and went 132-for-141 on extra points in 50 regular season contests. The 36-year-old kicker went 31-for-38 on his field goals and missed one of his 25 extra-point tries in 17 regular season games for the team. In his 14-year NFL career, Succop has made 82.9 percent of his 320 field-goal tries during the regular season and has been successful on 96.1 percent of his extra points.

Free-agent RB Ezekiel Elliott (Cowboys) has reportedly narrowed down his list of teams he would consider playing with to the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets and Cincinnati Bengals. Elliott would like to make his final decision about where to play by the end of next week, according to sources.
Fantasy Spin: The way that ESPN's Adam Schefter tells it, Elliott has his choice of the three teams, which is slightly interesting because at least two of the teams (Eagles and Jets) do not appear to need running backs right now. The Bengals would probably be the best spot for him from a fantasy perspective, especially if they part with Joe Mixon as has been speculated. Even if Mixon stays, Elliott would probably get at least 5-8 carries per game and absorb the role previously held by Samaje Perine.

The New York Giants are signing free-agent tight end Tommy Sweeney to an undisclosed deal on Thursday, according to a source. Sweeney is a former seventh-round pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2019 out of Boston College, and he spent the last three seasons playing for the Bills, where he totaled 18 catches on 26 targets for 165 yards and one touchdown in 24 games (four starts). The 27-year-old will provide the Giants with some depth at the position behind recently acquired Darren Waller and Daniel Bellinger. The G-Men also have tight ends Lawrence Cager and Chris Myarick on their current roster. Sweeney will be far from the fantasy radar in 2023.

Following dinner with the Carolina Panthers on Wednesday night, Alabama quarterback Bryce Young met with the Las Vegas Raiders before his Pro Day on Thursday. The Raiders currently hold the seventh overall pick in this year's draft, but it's highly unlikely that Young will be available at that pick. If the Raiders want Young that badly, they'll have to trade up into the top five. The Raiders signed quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to a three-year, $67.5 million deal in free agency, but Young would obviously become their franchise signal-caller if they were to land him in the draft. If Young isn't off the board within the first two picks (Panthers and Houston Texans), it would be a huge surprise.

Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers will have back-to-back dinners with the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants on Thursday night before his Pro Day on Friday, according to a source. Flowers is expected to come off the board in the first round next month, and he put on 13 pounds of muscle in pre-combine training. The Saints pick at No. 29 in the first round, while the Giants sit at No. 25, so if either team really wants him, they may have to trade up within the first round. In his final collegiate campaign, Flowers recorded 78 catches for 1,077 yards and 12 touchdowns for Boston College. The Giants have already added Parris Campbell and Jamison Crowder in free agency, but they'll surely look for a bigger difference-maker at the position in the draft.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins' trade market is headlined by the Buffalo Bills, according to league sources. The five-time Pro Bowler has plenty of interest on the trade market, but financial expectations could impact any further interest from the Kansas City Chiefs. The wide receiver-needy Baltimore Ravens are not among the bidders for his services, according to sources. The 30-year-old wideout played in only nine games for the Cardinals in 2022 due to a suspension and an injury, and he finished with 64 receptions, 717 yards and three touchdowns. Adding Nuk to a receiving corps that already includes Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis in Buffalo would be very exciting for quarterback Josh Allen.

Dynasty | Foster Moreau is out indefinitely after a routine physical revealed he has Hodgkin lymphoma. Dynasty Analysis: There's not much to say here, other than we hope Moreau gets well soon. It's the second straight season where we've had a similar situation as John Metchie was out last year battling Leukemia. We wish the best for Moreau moving forward.
