Josiah Deguara Sep 18 10:00pm ET

Green Bay Packers tight end Josiah Deguara (concussion) is listed as doubtful for Monday Night Football against the Lions. The 24-year-old did not practice all week long and seems like a lock to be inactive. He played in 8.8 percent of offensive and 27.3 percent of special teams snaps last week. Assuming Deguara is held out, Dominique Dafney would likely serve as the team's No. 3 tight end.

Sean Mannion Sep 18 9:50pm ET

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sean Mannion has been promoted to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals. He was part of a similar transaction last week and ended up being active for the season opener. Rookie Kellen Mond was inactive, and the same is expected to be true in Week 2. Mannion, 29, hasn't appeared in a game since 2019 when he went 12-for-21 with 126 yards and two interceptions.

Ameer Abdullah Sep 18 9:50pm ET

Minnesota Vikings running back Ameer Abdullah was signed to the team's active roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Cardinals. He played 10.8 percent of offensive and 14.7 percent of special teams snaps in Week 1. He also logged three total touches for 19 yards. The 28-year-old will fill a third-string role behind Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison.

Laquon Treadwell Sep 18 9:40pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Laquon Treadwell was elevated to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos. The 26-year-old spent training camp with the Jaguars but found himself on the practice squad to open the season. In 2020, he played in five games with the Falcons, catching six passes for 49 yards and a pair of touchdowns. It remains to be seen how much of a role the former first-round pick will have or if he will even be active. Jacksonville has a healthy receiving corps featuring D.J. Chark Jr., Laviska Shenault Jr., Marvin Jones Jr., Jamal Agnew, and Tyron Johnson.

Sony Michel Sep 18 9:20pm ET

Los Angeles Rams running back Sony Michel could remain in a clear backup role for yet another week. "You have confidence that you can utilize him, if need be," explained head coach Sean McVay. "But Darrell Henderson, I thought, did a great job." This certainly does not sound like a vote of confidence in the former Patriots first-round pick, especially after he logged just one carry for two yards last week. McVay added, "You do want to be able to say, 'Hey, if we're able to sustain drives, be able to get some things off, could you expect to see Sony?' That's a possibility, but Darrell's a guy that's done a really nice job and I was really pleased with how he got stronger as the game went on." Michel doesn't figure to carve out a significant workload soon and thus can safely be left on waivers.

Trey Ragas Sep 18 9:10pm ET

Las Vegas Raiders running back Trey Ragas was promoted to the active roster on Saturday. He'll presumably fill the No. 3 role in the backfield with Josh Jacobs (toe, ankle) sidelined. Ahead of Ragas, Kenyan Drake and Peyton Barber will occupy lead roles on Sunday. Ragas, a rookie, joined Las Vegas as an undrafted free agent this offseason. Through four years at Louisiana, he racked up 3,999 scrimmage yards and 43 total touchdowns. He has no fantasy relevance at this point.

Tee Higgins Sep 18 9:10pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins had a strong showing in Week 1, finishing the win over the Minnesota Vikings with 58 yards and a touchdown off four catches. Although his scoring output was sidetracked by a trip to the locker room for an IV, it was still a successful performance overall. Higgins should continue to be involved during the Week 2 clash against the Chicago Bears, primarily with Joe Burrow expected to continue to throw often moving ahead. As a result, fantasy managers should classify him as a must-start option in all formats while keeping him on the radar for DFS formats.

Joey Slye Sep 18 9:10pm ET

Houston Texans kicker Joey Slye was promoted to the active roster again ahead of the team's Week 2 contest against the Browns. He was very impressive in Week 1, connecting on all three field-goal and all four extra-point attempts. All in all, he owns an 80.3 percent field goal rate and 90.7 percent extra point rate through 33 career games. After spending two seasons with the Panthers, the now-25-year-old joined the Texans' practice squad when Ka'imi Fairbairn was placed on injured reserve.

Jamaal Williams Sep 18 8:50pm ET

Detroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift (groin) should be good to go for the Week 2 clash against the Packers. The sophomore continues to be plagued by a nagging groin ailment. However, after he practiced fully on Friday and head coach Dan Campbell indicated he is "fine," he should see the field, although he'll likely continue to carry the questionable designation leading up to the contest. Nonetheless, Swift has plenty of upside, although he may split carries again with Jamaal Williams, who had a team-high 54 yards and a touchdown off nine carries in Week 1 against the Niners. Still, Swift should remain classified as a starting option against Green Bay, despite his ongoing battle with the injury.

Kalif Raymond Sep 18 8:40pm ET

Detroit Lions wide receiver Kalif Raymond (thigh) was added to the injury report ahead of Monday night's game against the Packers. He enters Week 2 listed as questionable. The Lions' depleted receiving corps is already without Tyrell Williams (concussion), making Raymond's injury all the more troublesome. If he can't suit up, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Quintez Cephus would be in line for a significant increase in targets. Trinity Benson would also figure into the mix, too. Outside of the wide receiver position, running backs D'Andre Swift and Jamaal Williams and tight end T.J. Hockenson are on track to carry the offense.

Jamaal Williams Sep 18 8:40pm ET

Detroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams (chest) is no longer an occupant on the team's official injury report. The veteran practiced sparingly throughout the week, which now appears to be purely precautionary. He had a fantastic Week 1, too, racking up 54 yards and a touchdown off nine carries during the loss to the San Francisco 49ers. With D'Andre Swift questionable with a nagging groin issue, Williams could be in line for an uptick in fantasy production, regardless if the sophomore back is active.

Jamaal Williams Sep 18 8:40pm ET

Detroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams (chest) practiced in full on Saturday and does not carry an injury designation heading into Monday Night Football against the Packers. He started Week 1's contest over D'Andre Swift but both turned in highly effective productions. Now, Swift (groin) is listed as questionable for Week 2, though the expectation is that he'll get a near-normal workload. Regardless of Swift's status, Williams represents a mid-range FLEX range in a revenge game against his old team.

    D'Wayne Eskridge Sep 18 8:30pm ET

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Dee Eskridge (concussion) was downgraded to out ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans. This comes as no surprise considering the rookie was unable to practice all week long. In Week 1, he hauled in his lone target for six yards. He also rushed twice for 22 yards on the ground. This week, the Western Michigan product will likely be replaced by some sort of split between Freddie Swain and Penny Hart.

    From RotoBaller

Joe Burrow Sep 18 8:30pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase is looking to find the end zone for the second straight week. After a volatile preseason filled with dropped passes, the rookie led the team during the Week 1 win over the Minnesota Vikings, finishing with a team-high 101 yards and a touchdown off five catches (seven targets). While teammate Tee Higgins spent some time in the locker room to receive an IV, which opened the door for an uptick in looks from Joe Burrow, Chase should still be taken seriously as a viable DFS and redraft fantasy option for Week 2.

    From RotoBaller

Marcus Mariota Sep 18 8:10pm ET

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Marcus Mariota (quadriceps) landed on the injured reserve list on Saturday. The backup signal-caller re-aggravated a preexisting quad injury after a 31-yard run during the Monday Night Football overtime win over the Baltimore Ravens. The 27-year-old is anticipated to miss the next three games due to the designation, so it's conceivable he could make it back as soon as the Week 5 matchup against the Chicago Bears. Nonetheless, while Mariota is expected to have a minor role in the offense this season, Derek Carr still has a firm grasp as the team's starter moving ahead. However, if Carr were to succumb to an injury while Mariota is out, Nathan Peterman would likely slide in to fill the void, although he isn't a reliable fantasy option.
