    D'Andre Swift Sep 23 4:40pm ET

Detroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift will go up against a Cardinals Defense that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing backs through two weeks. It has been a less-than-ideal start to the rookie's career, missing most of training camp and then dropping a game-winning touchdown against the Bears in Week 1. But Swift posted five catches for 60 yards last week and slowly is getting more snaps. Enter the Lions matchup against the Cardinals, a team that allowed 115 receiving yards and two touchdowns to the 49ers running backs in Week 1. This could be an opportunity for Swift to flash his potential, making him an intriguing, albeit risky, DFS selection in Week 3.

Josh Lambo Sep 23 4:40pm ET

The Jacksonville Jaguars are placing kicker Josh Lambo (hip) on the Injured Reserve on Wednesday. Brandon Wright will be the team's kicker in the Week 3 game on Thursday night against the Dolphins. It sounds as if Lambo has a chance to return in around a month, barring any setbacks. The 29-year-old is perfect on his three field-goal tries through two games this year, and he's missed one of his seven extra points. You should go on ignoring Jacksonville's kicking situation for the time being.

Adrian Peterson Sep 23 4:30pm ET

Detroit Lions running back Adrian Peterson will try and hold onto the starter's role in Week 3 against the Cardinals. After posting 93 rushing yards in Week 1, that number fell to 41 last week while splitting carries with teammates Kerryon Johnson and D'Andre Swift. The Lions running backs, however, will have a favorable matchup against a Cardinals Defense that is allowing the fourth most fantasy points to running backs through two games. Arizona has already allowed three different runners to post 10-plus fantasy points, giving Peterson a chance to provide RB3/FLEX fantasy value in Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Dalvin Cook Sep 23 4:20pm ET

Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook will be an X-factor Sunday against the Titans in Week 3. Minnesota is 0-2 and absolutely need a victory against a Titans Defense that is allowing the 14th most fantasy points through two games. Cook has been held in check from a rushing yards perspective but already has three touchdowns on the season. The Titans have already allowed 10-plus fantasy points to three different running backs this season, setting up Cook to post RB1 numbers in Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Aaron Jones Sep 23 4:20pm ET

Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones will look to stay hot against the Saints in Week 3. Jones exploded last week for 228 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns and now has four total touchdowns on the season. Jones and Co. will face a Saints Defense is allowing the 14th fewest fantasy points to opposing backs through two games this season but their defense has certainly given up their share of points. Jones is one of the hottest offensive weapons in the NFL right now and should continue to post RB1 fantasy numbers in Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

    Marquez Valdes-Scantling Sep 23 4:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling could be the featured receiver against the high-powered Saints in Week 3. With star teammate Davante Adams' (hamstring) status up in the air, Valdes-Scantling could see plenty of targets as the Packers offense is off to a great start this season. The 25-year-old has 160 yards and one touchdown through two games and will face a Saints Defense that is allowing the 11th fewest fantasy points to opposing receivers. New Orleans has not allowed a receiver to post more than 79 receiving yards to a pass-catcher through two games and quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been on fire in the early portions of the season. Valdes-Scantling will carry excellent DFS fantasy value for Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Marvin Jones Sep 23 4:10pm ET

Detroit Lions wide receiver Marvin Jones Jr. will try and jump-start a Lions offense in Week 3 against the Cardinals. Jones Jr. has struggled to fill in for injured teammate Kenny Golladay, posting only 78 receiving yards with one touchdown in two games. The Lions will face a Cardinals Defense that has allowed the fewest fantasy points to receivers during the early portion of this season. Jones Jr. is worth rostering in most fantasy formats but does not deserve a start in Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Ezekiel Elliott Sep 23 4:00pm ET

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is one of the best fantasy running back options in a Week 3 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks Defense has been good against the run this season, but they've also only taken on the Falcons and the Patriots, two teams who don't focus on the running game much. Meanwhile, "Zeke" has 185 rushing yards and 64 receiving yards already. He's a surefire RB1 with easy-to-see overall RB1 upside this week.

    From RotoBaller

Justin Jefferson Sep 23 3:50pm ET

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson will try and continue his maturation Week 3 against the Titans. Jefferson caught three passes for 44 yards last week as he continues to slowly earn the team's trust within the offense. He will go up against a talented Titans Defense as the rookie continues to battle for targets with teammate Bisi Johnson. The Vikings offense is under the microscope to perform and Jefferson is hoping he can be one of the solutions. Despite his slow uptick in production, Jefferson is far from being fantasy viable at this point heading into Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Allen Robinson Sep 23 3:50pm ET

Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson is off to a slow start this season but has a fantastic matchup against the Falcons in Week 3. Robinson has posted only 107 yards through the first two games but the Falcons secondary has been getting torched. Atlanta's defense is currently allowing the fourth most fantasy points to opposing receivers and have already allowed four opponents to post 90-plus receiving yards against them. Robinson's fantasy value, however, is tied to the inconsistent arm of quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, making him a promising, but volatile, WR1/2 in Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Dak Prescott Sep 23 3:50pm ET

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott had an outstanding game in Week 2 and is set for another big game in Week 3. The Cowboys will take on the Seattle Seahawks in what should be a high scoring game with two powerful quarterbacks at the reins. Prescott scored three rushing touchdowns last week while throwing for 450 yards. He'll be an elite QB1 option again in Week 3 and needs to be started in all formats.

    From RotoBaller

Anthony Miller Sep 23 3:50pm ET

Chicago Bears wide receiver Anthony Miller will have a chance to bounce back from his catch-less performance in Week 2 against the Falcons this week. After posting 76 receiving yards and a game-winning touchdown in Week 1, Miller was shut out against the Giants. He will now go against a Falcons Defense that is, through two games, allowing the fourth most fantasy points to opposing pass-catchers. Atlanta has already allowed four different receivers to post 90 or more yards against them, setting up an opportunity for Miller to get back in the box score. While the matchup lines up favorably, Miller is a highly volatile fantasy option for Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Kirk Cousins Sep 23 3:40pm ET

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins will try and bounce back from a horrific Week 2 performance this week against the Titans. Cousins posted, perhaps, one of his worst statistical lines of his career last week, completing only 11-of-26 passes for 113 yards and three interceptions. The veteran passer already has four interceptions on the season and will go up against a Titans Defense that is allowing the 18th most fantasy points to passers through two games. The Vikings are 0-2 and need a win desperately and their success in Week 3 will be tied to the play of Cousins. Until he can prove otherwise, Cousins should be a fantasy stay-away against the Titans.

    From RotoBaller

Adam Thielen Sep 23 3:40pm ET

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen will try and get back on the right track in Week 3 against the Titans. After a promising Week 1, Thielen caught only three passes for 31 yards and the Vikings offense imploded against the Colts. The Vikings will now go up against a Titans Defense that has allowed the 15th most fantasy points to opposing receivers and have not allowed more than 84 yards to a receiver. The Vikings season already is on the line and will need to feature Thielen to achieve success. The veteran receiver will carry WR1 value, albeit with a low floor, in Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Mitch Trubisky Sep 23 3:30pm ET

Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is off to an inconsistent start through the first two games. He has completed only 59.7% of his passes but has five touchdowns through his first six quarters of play. He will have a chance to improve upon those numbers against a Falcons Defense in Week 3 that currently is allowing the most fantasy points to opposing passers. It's early but Atlanta is allowing an astounding 386 passing yards a game, including three rushing touchdowns and five passing touchdowns. Trubisky is averaging only 216 passing yards this season but that is a number he should easily eclipse in Week 3. Trubisky has a shot at posting top-15 fantasy numbers among quarterbacks and should be a solid QB2 against the Falcons.

    From RotoBaller

    D.J. Chark Sep 23 3:23pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars WR DJ Chark Jr. (back, chest) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 23, and is listed as questionable for Week 3.

Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players should check the inactive list for Chark's official status. He can be a No. 3 receiver or flex option if he is able to play, but players will need other options available in case he is ruled out.

    From TheHuddle

Josh Lambo Sep 23 3:23pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars PK Josh Lambo (hip) will be placed on the Reserve/Injured list because of a hip injury, according to head coach Doug Marrone.

    From TheHuddle

Matthew Stafford Sep 23 3:20pm ET

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford could surprise in fantasy heading into the team's Week 3 matchup against the Cardinals. It has been a brutal start for the Lions combined with mediocre production from the Lions offense. Stafford, through two games, has passed for three touchdowns, two interceptions and is completing only 58.7% of his passes. He will go up against a Cardinals Defense that is allowing the seventh fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. But Arizona has lined up against Jimmy Garoppolo and Dwayne Haskins Jr., two quarterbacks that do not enjoy the talent that Stafford possesses. With star receiver Kenny Golladay returning to practice and on course to play in Week 3, Stafford could finally fulfill the fantasy buzz he garnered in the offseason.

    From RotoBaller

Philadelphia Eagles Sep 23 3:10pm ET

The Philadelphia Eagles Defense will look to bounce back after a rough Week 2 performance in their Week 3 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Eagles defense allowed the Rams to score 37 points last week, with Rams quarterback Jared Goff looking comfortable all game. The Eagles only recorded one sack. Going up against the Bengals this week, who have one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL, the Eagles should theoretically play well, but they've been too inconsistent even through just two weeks to trust as a high-end defense. They're somewhere in the 12-15 range of fantasy defenses in Week 3.

    From RotoBaller

Davante Adams Sep 23 3:10pm ET

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) will be questionable heading into Week 3, but his injury may not be as serious as many thought last Sunday. Adams is the unquestioned No. 1 receiver on the team and was held out of the second half of the Packers 42-21 win over the Lions with the injury. But head coach Matt LaFleur downplayed the severity, telling reporters: "I know he wanted to go back in the game. I just told him, 'Hey, let's see how these next few series go and see if we need you.' ... If we don't need him, we didn't want to put him back in a position to do further harm to his own body." So the fact that the coaching staff was considering clearing him to return to play during the game should give fantasy managers a sigh of relief. Adams' status will need to be monitored all the way through the week, perhaps up to game time against the Saints.
