Ted Ginn Jr. Aug 25 12:34pm ET

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Ted Ginnwas limited like most of the Saints starters in Sunday's preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Ginn caught both targets thrown his way for a total of 17 yards before stepping off the field on Sunday. He missed most of last season after suffering a knee injury in Week 4 and will have to be at his best if he wants to keep his starting position this season. He's probably not worth a roster spot in standard-sized leagues to begin the season.

Alvin Kamara Aug 25 12:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara saw one quarter of playing time against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. Kamara finished the first quarter with four carries for 15 yards and one target from quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Kamara failed to catch his only pass and exited the game not long afterward. Kamara should continue to see limited action during the preseason, but he'll be a strong RB1 in fantasy drafts in the Saints strong offense.

Sterling Shepard Aug 25 12:33pm ET

New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard(hand) had his first full-contact practice since breaking his right hand early in training camp. Shepard, who is entering his fourth season with the Giants, has been sporting a yellow non-contact jersey, prohibiting him from any form of contact. Doctors have cleared Shepard to practice unrestricted, so expect him to potentially take the field Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys.

Alvin Kamara Aug 25 12:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas didn't get any playing time in Sunday's preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Thomas participated in team drills last week and worked one-on-one with Saints running back Alvin Kamara. Thomas should suit up for the next two preseason games, but playing time should be limited until the first game of the regular season. He's RotoBaller's No. 4 fantasy wideout and will likely come off draft boards late in the first round.

Latavius Murray Aug 25 12:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints running back Latavius Murray played one quarter in Sunday's preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Murray came off the field with four carries for 13 yards, which were similar numbers to starting running back Alvin Kamara. Murray looks to be a solid flex option this season with RB2 upside.

Jared Cook Aug 25 12:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints tight end Jared Cook didn't see much action in the Saints second preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Cook was targeted two times and caught one pass for four yards before heading to the sidelines early. Cook has been excelling in training camp and getting praise from his new teammates. He is poised to be a good tight end option for the 2019 season with his new squad while taking passes from future Hall of Famer Drew Brees.

Cameron Meredith Aug 25 12:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith showed his handiwork in last week's joint practice with the Los Angeles Chargers. Smith went 3-for-3 in one-on-one drills against Chargers defensive players last Wednesday. In Sunday's preseason game, Smith hauled in one catch for 16 yards. With former teammateCameron Meredith now playing for the New England Patriots, look for Smith's production to increase in 2019.

    From RotoBaller

Keith Kirkwood Aug 25 12:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Keith Kirkwood did not suit up for Sunday's preseason match against the Los Angeles Chargers. Kirkwood missed eight practices after suffering an undisclosed injury back in early August, but he returned to practice in full pads last Wednesday, participating in stretching and conditioning while working personally with an athletic trainer. With star wide receiver Michael Thomas back from his holdout, Kirkwood takes a huge hit in fantasy value.

Emmanuel Butler Aug 25 12:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints rookie wide receiver Emmanuel Butler didn't get to show off what everyone has been talking about in the Saints second preseason game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Butler has been the talk of the town at training camp so far this season by showing major talent as an undrafted rookie. In Sunday's matchup with the Chargers, Butler was targeted three times but wasn't able to complete a catch. Butler should only be valued in dynasty leagues, for now, until we see more from him on gameday.

    From RotoBaller

Jared Cook Aug 25 12:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints tight end Josh Hill was only targeted one time in Sunday's preseason win against the Los Angeles Chargers. Hill wasn't spotted at the Saints-Chargers joint practice last Friday, but obviously there is nothing to worry about, as Hill suited up for Sunday's game. Hill should be avoided in fantasy lineups with tight end Jared Cook taking over the starting role. Expect Hill to be used primarily as a blocker this season.

    From RotoBaller

Jared Cook Aug 25 12:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints tight end Dan Arnold followed up last week's touchdown performance against the Minnesota Vikings with zero catches on two attempts against the Los Angeles Chargers in Sunday's second preseason matchup. Arnold isn't expected to be a consistent fantasy option this season, sitting behind tight end Josh Hilland starting tight endJared Cook. Arnold is more of a roll-the-dice DFS option and should only be used in special offensive plays this season.

    T.J. Yeldon Aug 25 12:33pm ET

In Thursday's second preseason game, Buffalo Bills running back T.J. Yeldon carried the ball seven times for 26 yards, averaging 3.7 yards per carry, while adding a ten-yard reception. Yeldon has a lot of work to do to earn playing time this season. He's either going to need to explode in the next two preseason games or have someone ahead of him on the depth chart get injured in order to see the field early in the season. LeSean McCoy, Frank Gore and Devin Singletary all figure to get more touches than Yeldon at this point.

    From RotoBaller

    J.J. Nelson Aug 25 12:33pm ET

Oakland Raiders wide receiver J.J. Nelson was absent from the team's practice Tuesday after spraining his ankle in Thursday's preseason game. Nelson thought he was healthy enough to return in that game, so it's a bit of a surprise to see him on the sidelines nearly a week after. The Raiders haven't shown any concerns with Nelson and are likely holding him out as a precaution. His status for the team's preseason Week 3 matchup versus the Packers is up in the air, but he should be good to go for the regular season opener in Week 1. With no starting role, Nelson can be avoided in all formats, but could enter the discussion if Antonio Brown or Tyrell Williams were to miss any time.

Ryquell Armstead Aug 25 12:31pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Ryquell Armstead has cleared concussion protocol and is expected to play in Thursday's preseason meeting with the Miami Dolphins. Armstead and former Texans running back Alfred Blue are competing to back up Leonard Fournette, but Blue's dealing with a foot injury and won't play Thursday, opening up a chance for Armstead to impress. Fournette is the team's workhorse back, but with him expected to be the team's best third-down option, it's possible Armstead or Blue gets to see a little early down work. It won't be enough for either to be fantasy relevant without a Fournette injury, though.

Ronald Jones II Aug 25 12:30pm ET

Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones II (knee) has been hampered by a minor knee injury this week. During the Bucs' preseason matchup against the Dolphins last week, Jones II slipped on the soggy grass and overextended his leg during the opening kickoff. Although there is no structural damage, the slip may have led to the discomfort that Jones II has managed this week. Although he missed practice on Monday, he was spotted on the field the next day and appears to be in line to continue playing this preseason. Jones II is losing time to prove himself in the Buccaneers backfield and needs all the reps he can get.

    From RotoBaller

    C.J. Uzomah Aug 25 12:30pm ET

Cincinnati Bengals tight end C.J. Uzomah scored a touchdown during Thursday's preseason encounter with the New York Giants, snagging a 26-yard pass from quarterback Andy Dalton late in the first quarter. While Uzomah hasn't been a factor much this preseason, he could have a role this upcoming season, especially if tight end Tyler Eifert goes down with another injury at some point, with his only hurdle to clear being rookie tight end Drew Sample, who had a touchdown of his own against the Chiefs in Week 2 of the preseason.

    From RotoBaller

Rashaad Penny Aug 25 12:30pm ET

Seattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny continues to struggle to run in the NFL. Facing mostly second- and third-stringers, Penny only tallied 22 yards on eight carries, but one of those was a second-effort from a couple yards out to score a touchdown. Penny did show plenty of drive by making two big second pushes to accomplish things on runs that looked dead in the water from the get-go, but he was otherwise pretty inconsequential for the team. Chris Carson is clearly ahead of him on the depth chart, but he's also a big-time injury risk, so Penny could suddenly see himself in the big chair at any point. That said, C.J. Prosise and J.D. McKissick both looked good in this game and would be gunning for that spot as well.

    From RotoBaller

Leonard Fournette Aug 25 12:29pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette saw his first snaps of the preseason in Thursday's loss to the Miami Dolphins. Fournette carried the ball seven times for 27 yards and also added two receptions for 19 yards. He was targeted three times. Fournette is the best pass-catching back on the Jaguars' roster, and Thursday seemed to find the team testing to see if that'll be a workable position to be in or if they'll need to add a third-down back. Fournette did fine in the role, though, and for right now we can pencil him in as a three-down back. A healthy Fournette has the upside to finish as an RB1.

    From RotoBaller

Dede Westbrook Aug 25 12:29pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dede Westbrook was targeted seven times in Thursday's preseason loss to the Miami Dolphins. He turned those targets into four catches, 29 yards, and a touchdown. Westbrook is Jacksonville's top receiver and his growing rapport with quarterback Nick Foles makes him an incredibly interesting pick in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts, especially in PPR. Westbrook is going see a huge percentage of the available targets in Jacksonville.

    From RotoBaller

    D.J. Chark Aug 25 12:29pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver D.J. Chark suffered a concussion in Thursday's preseason meeting with the Miami Dolphins. Chark is expected to be one of Jacksonville's three starting wide receivers, but with the regular season kicking off in just over two weeks, there are now going to be worries about Chark's availability. If he passes concussion protocol in time, he's got the chance to stretch the field for quarterback Nick Foles and provide some situational fantasy value. If Chark misses time, expect an increase in usage for Chris Conley.
