High scoring was back in FFF Week #10, as 8 teams topped 100 points.  Most of our games were close and the division standings have really tightened up as we head down the back stretch of the regular season (four games to go).

In the 'A' Division, Raiders8 have won three in a row in impressive fashion to close the gap on front runner Hammerheads, with Baron's Corner and White City Devils looming not far behind.

In the rough and tumble 'B' Division, Dutchmen pulled just ahead of Scheme Team and ND, with TroysBoys lurking in the distance.

In the Points Standings, teams 6-12 are only separated by 65.6 points, so there is still a lot to play for.

WEEK #10 RESULTS:

DUTCHMEN EXPLODE IN WIN OVER HONEYMOONERS:  Hot Dutchmen have won four in a row to regain top spot in 'B' Division, scoring over 112 points in all of those contests.  Dmen's Gibbs (36.7) had his best game of the season right after his worst game of the season to lead Dutch to an important victory.  Dutchmen's curious pickup of Jets' Defense paid off nicely, as Dmen had the second highest score in FFF this week.  Honeymooners have lost three in a row and started the wrong Falcon RB, but who could blame them.

ND NIPS GENERALS:  In the closest game we have had in FFF this season, ND won by 0.2 points over Generals and kept their 'B' Division title hopes alive in the process.  Devon Achane (37.5) led the way for ND, who had many poor performing starters.  Generals were led by TE McBride.  Both teams had bad games from their QBs.

RAIDERS8 OUTGUN SCHEME TEAM:  In a great battle of two teams in the top four in our FFF Power Rankings, Raiders8 emerged victorious over Scheme Team in a contest with large implications in their respective divisions.  Raiders' QB Love did just enough on Monday Night to get the big win, as the Raiders had a pretty balanced attack led by RB Henderson, who more than doubled his previous best game of the season.  Baker led a Schemer squad that played well, but just came up a little short in this shootout, as McCaffrey had his second worst game of season.

XTREME SMASH HAMMERHEADS: Xtreme had their best game of the season when they needed it most as they held off Hammerheads for their second win, ensuring they don't tie the FFF record for fewest wins.  Xmen's Taylor had the best game in FFF so far this season (48.1 points) and their QB Stafford added 37.7 more to pound Heads.  Hammer gave it a good fight, but a zero from a starter (yet another injury) and an off game from QB Jackson doomed them.

WHITE CITY DEVILS HOLD OFF TROYSBOYS: Poor Monday Night performances by two TroysBoys stars (Barkley and Brown) cost them a chance for a win here against White City Devils.  White City were led by QB Caleb and WR Egbuka to get a nice victory.

TOASTER OVEN BURNS BARON'S CORNER:  In their most lopsided victory of the season, Toaster Oven easily bested Baron's Corner in this one.  Toaster were led by WR Jameson Williams and nearly had five starters top 20 points.  Baron had his second worst game of the season with extremely poor WR play, with the Bye Week leaving him stripped of players.

WEEK #11 MATCHUPS:

DUTCHMEN VS. SCHEME TEAM:  The Game of the Week, as has been mentioned.  Dutchmen are #1 in Power Rankings and Points Standings, Scheme Team is #3 in both.  Dmen lead Schemers by one game in 'B' Division and already beat them in Week #2, so they would own the Head-to-Head tiebreaker with a victory here.  Slumping Schemers have lost three of last four, while Dmen are hottest team in FFF.  Dutch's players do have some tough matchups this week, so maybe that gives Scheme Team a chance.

GENERALS VS. TOASTER OVEN:  Two teams looking to score points to have a chance to make FFF playoffs. Gmen have lost 5 of last 6, while Toaster has won 3 of last 4.

XTREME VS. ND:  Rematch of Week #1 contest won by ND, which was Xtreme's worst game of the season.  ND needs win to try and keep pace with Dutchmen for 'B' Division title.  Both teams have lost 2 of last 3 but are coming off of big wins.  ND is #2 in Points Standings and Xtreme is #4. Both teams lose key players to Bye, but Xmen more so (RB Taylor).

TROYSBOYS VS. BARON'S CORNER:  Must win game for both if they have any chance left of trying to take their respective Division titles.  Both teams coming off of tough losses, but slumping Baron have lost three in a row with fewer points each week.  No help here for Baron as Bye week yet again hurts him.

HAMMERHEADS VS. WHITE CITY DEVILS:  Hammerheads narrowly beat White City in Week #8, so Devils looking for revenge here.  With a win White City can close the gap in 'A' Division, and some attractive player matchups put him in position to do so.

RAIDERS8 VS. HONEYMOONERS: Huge opportunity for Raiders, who are averaging 123.7 points per game the last three games and can catch Hammerheads in standings with a win and a Heads loss.  Raiders' young players are finally producing, and they have some great matchups this week.  Honeymooners have lost three in a row and need points to salvage their playoff chances.    Mooners won their Week #7 matchup as Raiders hit rock bottom, but from then on Raiders have blossomed.
