Season Thirty-One of FFF began with a bunch of blowouts, with a 19-point spread being the closest game of the weekend. The first week also brought a return to power of last year's playoff teams, as 5 of the 6 teams that made it to the postseason in 2024 won this week.
WEEK #1 RESULTS:
DUTCHMEN SMACK GENERALS: The Dmen laid a 40-point beating on the Gmen, as QB Herbert lit it up for 37.1 pts, and King Henry ran crazy for a big day. Generals were led by Nacua and had only one other starter in double digits.
SCHEME TEAM BLAST TROYSBOYS: Scheme Team's power lineup (Four #1 or #2 draft picks, two in first 3 Rounds) rolled over TBoys here, with Baker and their RB tandem of McCaffrey and Williams leading the way. Troy had poor QB play from Dak and nearly a no show from AJ Brown.
ND STOMPS ON XTREME: ND had the second highest game of the week behind Mahomes and a very balanced scoring attack. Xmen were let down by their stars and missed Fields' huge day on their bench.
HAMMERHEADS COMEBACK AGAINST TOASTEROVEN: Lamar singlehandedly led the Heads back on Sunday Night for a tough win here. Hammer missed Keon Coleman's huge game on their bench. Toaster were let down by their big names but did get a solid performance from Hurts.
BARON'S CORNER DESTROYS RAIDERS: The Baron was top dog this week with an impressive outing led by MVP Josh Allen (46.7). A monster game from the Colts Defense also ignited the Corner's big division win here. Raiders are loaded with young players but none of them really showed up today.
HONEYMOONERS SLAY WHITE CITY DEVILS: Mooners had a nice all-around game, even from their bench, as they cruised to an easy victory over White City. 'Keepers' Bijan and CeeDee lived up to their billing. Devils had a strong game from QB Williams, but not much else here.
WEEK #2 MATCHUPS:
DUTCHMEN VS. SCHEME TEAM: Game of the week. Two early season favorites face off in this key 'B' Division showdown. Both teams coming off of strong wins and feature powerful RB tandems. One of their gunslinger QB's could be the difference though.
GENERALS VS. ND: These teams had opposite performances in Week #1, with Gmen having the lowest score of the week and ND having the second highest. This game figures to be a bit closer due to matchups for each team.
XTREME VS. TROYSBOYS: Two teams coming off of bad losses in Week #1 and hoping to rebound here. With big names up and down their lineups you figure there has to be an improvement this week.
HAMMERHEADS VS. RAIDERS8: Raiders had the Hammerheads number last season, so Heads hoping to turn things around now. Raiders have some attractive matchups that should bolster their scoring this week. Head's Lamar traditionally struggles against the Browns, who he faces this week.
THE BARON'S CORNER VS. HONEYMOONERS: The other huge matchup of Week #2 here. Two teams coming off of strong Week #1 games hoping to keep the fire burning. Baron will need someone else besides QB Allen to help out in a game where they'll need to put up points. Mooners will have lineup decisions to make after most everyone on their roster fared well last week.
TOASTER OVEN VS. WHITE CITY DEVILS: Two more teams that struggled a bit in Week #1 that have a chance to turn things around here. Redemption game for both squads.
