TBL Week 3 Preview

Two weeks in, the Big League already has its share of drama. The Yinzers look unstoppable, the Rebels are flexing their muscle, and the Atoms are fighting to avoid the dreaded 0-3 hole. Week 3 serves up heavy favorites, desperate underdogs, and star power across the board. Let’s run through the slate, SportsCenter-style, with positional edges and bold predictions.

Believers (1-1) vs. Atoms (0-2)

The Believers stabilized in Week 2 but remain tied to Joe Flacco’s limited upside. Bijan Robinson and Justin Jefferson give them firepower, but Justin Herbert and Tyreek Hill are waiting on the other sideline. If Hill breaks a big one, the Atoms finally climb out of the loss column.

Edge Watch:

  • QB: Atoms

  • RB: Believers

  • WR: Push

  • TE: Believers

  • DL: Atoms

  • LB: Believers

  • DB: Atoms

Pick: Herbert and Hill deliver.
Projected Score: Atoms 276, Believers 262

Dealers (1-1) vs. Kamikazes (1-1)

Devon Achane was electric for the Dealers, but can he keep pace with Jalen Hurts and Christian McCaffrey? The Kamikazes roll out one of the league’s most complete lineups, with Josh Jacobs and Micah Parsons adding to the arsenal.

Edge Watch:

  • QB: Kamikazes

  • RB: Kamikazes

  • WR: Dealers

  • TE: Push

  • DL: Kamikazes

  • LB: Kamikazes

  • DB: Push

Pick: Hurts + CMC are too much.
Projected Score: Kamikazes 301, Dealers 250

Rebels (2-0) vs. Mercenaries (0-2)

The Rebels look every bit like early contenders. James Cook’s breakout adds juice to an already deep squad. Meanwhile, the Mercenaries are still searching for an identity and can’t seem to find any consistency.

Edge Watch:

  • QB: Rebels

  • RB: Rebels

  • WR: Push

  • TE: Rebels

  • DL: Push

  • LB: Mercenaries

  • DB: Rebels

Pick: Rebels stay perfect, Mercs stay winless.
Projected Score: Rebels 312, Mercenaries 218

RockStars (1-1) vs. Goats (1-1)

On paper, this might be the week’s closest matchup. The RockStars lean on Dak Prescott and Jahmyr Gibbs, but the Goats counter with a devastating WR trio of Cooper Kupp, Ja’Marr Chase, and CeeDee Lamb. That might be too much to handle.

Edge Watch:

  • QB: RockStars

  • RB: Goats

  • WR: Goats

  • TE: RockStars

  • DL: RockStars

  • LB: Goats

  • DB: RockStars

Pick: Goats’ WRs swing it late.
Projected Score: Goats 288, RockStars 276

Warlords (0-2) vs. MadDawgz (1-1)

The Dawgz are built around their defense, and Myles Garrett looks poised to feast against a shaky Warlords O-line. Kyler Murray is the X-factor, but can he do enough to offset Baker Mayfield and a stacked Dawgz linebacker unit?

Edge Watch:

  • QB: Warlords

  • RB: Dawgz

  • WR: Push

  • TE: Dawgz

  • DL: Dawgz

  • LB: Dawgz

  • DB: Warlords

Pick: Dawgz defense dominates.
Projected Score: MadDawgz 289, Warlords 220

Yinzers (2-0) vs. Conquerors (1-1)

The Yinzers have looked unstoppable, with Lamar Jackson commanding an offense stacked with Jonathan Taylor, Stefon Diggs, and Malik Nabers. The Conquerors’ A.J. Brown is elite, but Russell Wilson will have to play over his head to keep pace.

Edge Watch:

  • QB: Yinzers

  • RB: Yinzers

  • WR: Yinzers

  • TE: Yinzers

  • DL: Push

  • LB: Yinzers

  • DB: Conquerors

Pick: Yinzers roll to 3-0.
Projected Score: Yinzers 305, Conquerors 250

The Bottom Line

Week 3 is about separation. The Rebels and Yinzers look like early juggernauts. The Kamikazes are building momentum. And for the Atoms, Warlords, and Mercenaries, desperation is already setting in. Expect fireworks from Herbert, CMC, and the Goats’ WR trio, but don’t be surprised if a defensive star like Micah Parsons or Myles Garrett ends up stealing the show.
