#4 The Jeffs The starting roster changed a bit yesterday, but the ranking was unaffected. Top Fantasy QBs led Jeff and the following 3 teams to float to the top of the rankings and Jeff has one of the best. Lamar was beyond spectacular in 2024 with 41 passing and 4 rushing TDS, along with almost 1000 rushing yards. He is joined by Tight end Andrews who comes off a 11 TD season. Kyren WAS the best back but now TD catching running back Chase Brown is the top dog. He will be joined by TreVeyon Henderson, rookie for New England. Jeff see's upside. Receivers are “mid” led by 2nd year player Harrison JR and Jameson Williams.
#3 Douganeers As previously stated, a top QB got you to the top of the rankings. And nobody has been a better fantasy point getter the last 6 years than Josh Allen. Already in his short career, 195 TDs, 65 rushing TDs, 4000 rushing yards and 26000 passing yards. Ridiculous numbers. Receivers were also top notch. St. Brown, Metcalf, AJ Brown and Ladd McConkey fared best in the league. Backs dropped Doug out of the top 2. Etienne relevance is fading and Pacheco is just coming back after missing most of 2024.
#2 Mikings Hurts averages only 20 TDs per season but also averages 13 rushing TDs. Those 2 passing, 1 rushing TD games in the NFL lead to fantasy wins for anyone that has him in fantasy. He’s typically the top 2 or 3 in AWFFL league scoring. Gibbs was the 2nd leading RB last season, (only Saquan better). Can he duplicate those numbers? The other back is either Kamara, Breec Hall, Walker III or James Conner. Who knows who will break away as the obvious starter. Receivers, Evans (old but still reliable) Nacua and X Worthy were a favored group by the rankings formula.
#1 Commandovichs Will Jayden Daniels improve on those numbers in 2024? Most think so. Expect 5 rushing 30 passing TDs. What vaulted Matt to the number one spot, mostly was J’Marr chase. Who had almost 100 more points than the next best fantasy receiver. 2nd receiver is Thomas Jr, who also was pretty darn good in 24 with 1300 yards and 10 TDs. Not knowing what you’re going to get can be exciting right? Starting running backs are 2 rookies! (not sure that’s ever happened before) Ashton Jeanty and Omarion Hampton. Both will get a lot of the workload and hopefully for Matt, lots of breaking news (who wants to watch those teams) of a Raider or Chargers touchdown. And if it’s not Jeanty Raider TD, it might be a Brock Bowers score, or maybe a Maxx Crosby sack!! Or a Jakobi Meyers TD, which will probably piss him off. Depending.
