The name is Rivera, Jon Rivera, Coach if you're nasty!

Coach Rivera has No Time To Lose, as The Kingmen are off to a blistering start!  With one third of the regular season in the books, Coach Rivera's Super Spies have yet to take a W.  With stars at every position, the Kingsmen have a License to Win and if they can keep their skills sharp they may just be headed for a date with The Plaque!  As of right now they have the rest of the UFFL shaken but not stirred!

On to our weekly game focuses!

UFC Game of the Week:

VA Disciples-238     /     Bombers-237

Brown's Bombers continues to crash and sputter as they are off to a horrible 1-3 start!  Coach G has taken two losses by a total of 1 point!  That's not a mistake, One loss in OT and this week they lose by a grand total of one point!  Don't ever doubt the importance of your head Coaches!  CJ's 45 only laid the Stroud over the beaten body of the B-Men and 37 from "Q" (to keep the Bond theme going) was ALMOST enough, but Prunty pulled out the late MNF win mostly thanks to Coach Payton, but 50 with help from Drake London is Falling and 38 from Sam I am Darnold, VAD stayed in the hunt while pointing The Bombers in the wrong direction.

VA Disciples 2-2     /     Bombers 1-3

UFC WOODSHED GAME OF THE WEEK:

Kingsmen-354     /     The Riffs-215

We already covered The Kingsmen's Licence to Kill, and boy did they use it to the fullest with a 139 point assassination of Coach Dre and The Riffs!  As Paul McCartney said in the great Bond song Live and Let Die, and The Riffs definitely did thanks to 75 from Mr Bijan Robinson's Neighborhood and 77 from Puka Hakuna Matata!  The Riffs mustered up 43 from Run CMC and 36 from Jordan but it just didn't Addison up!  The Riffs were left bloody and beaten in the 'Shed for the second time this young season!

Kingsmen 4-0     /     The Riffs 2-2

UFC Game of the Week:

Aztecas-268     /     GreenWave-265

Coach Edwin and his Aztecas (The team formerly known as The LumberJacks) squeaked out a three point win in this dramatic UFC matchup!  Josh Allen led the Mayan Sacrifice with 54 and Travis Ettienne added another 50!  Coach Mullins and his GreenWave battled back with 70 from Josh Jacobs Jinglheimer and added 72 from Ohhh-My-rion Hampton and nearly closed the gap!  Both teams left the hard fought battle with .500 records staying right in the thick of things!

Aztecas 2-2     /     GreenWave 2-2

UFC WOODSHED GAME OF THE WEEK:

Dogs Of War-367     /     ThunderCats-237

Veteran Coach Elder (Senior That is!) beat the Bejesus out of Parker and his T-Cats by a whopping 130 points!!!  Bijan put the mustard into it with his 75 points and Bo Nixed any chance the T-Cats thought they had with another 68!  And Parker thought he had a shot thanks to Justin "Strawberry" Fields forever (McCartney again) and his 73!  Archane added in 30 but is was not nearly enough as Elder out the WAR in his Dogs of War and trampled the T-Cats into the 'Shed, ironically just like The Riffs in UFC, for a second time this season!

Dogs Of War 3-1     /     ThunderCats 2-2

Injuries continue to pile up!  Waiver wire is getting thin, but we are only a third of the way home!  No one is out yet....except maybe The Bombers.....

Till next week, as always, Aim High!
