With two weeks left in the regular season, the first week of the playoffs is getting very close to being set.  There was a lot of mulligan action this week as teams try to lock up a spot in Week 15 and beyond.  Here's what we know this morning:

The Soup Nazis moved to 10-2 and have basically locked up the bye.  While it's possible that The Van Buren Boys or The Ribbon could tie them in record, the points tiebreaker is all but over, so TSN can start making preparations for the final four in Week 15.

At 8-4, The Ribbon and VBB are now at "win and in" territory.  One win for either team in the next two weeks, or a loss by Downtown in the next two weeks puts these teams into the playoffs.

The next tier is the 7-5 teams: Dips, Bisque, Vandelay and Close Talkers.  They are all at the "win out and in" territory.  Win your last two games and you are in the playoffs.  If not, then it might come down to an overall points tiebreaker.

Downtown is the remaining team still in the playoff chase at 6-6.  They don't need to win out as long as one of the 7-5 teams loses in the next two weeks, but if they don't finish 8-6 they will need to get in via points.

Unfortunately, Vile Weed, Spongeworthy, The Muffin Tops and Coco are now playing spoiler.  No playoffs this year, but they get the chance to take someone else out with them.

With Thanksgiving on Thursday, the FA picks will be moved up to Wednesday night.  That change will be posted shortly.  Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!!!
