The Gamblers hold serve, maintaining the top spot in our Real Power Rankings©. The only thing keeping them from a perfect 36 is being tied in record with The Baggers - and inexplicably, The Doves and The Wombat Platoon!

The Underdogs - the ultimate feast or famine team this season, being the only team to be highest and lowest scoring team in a week - raced up the rankings by dropping 124 on the unsuspecting Phoenix who are still trying to figure out what the hell happened. The Baggers 114 was a close second and jumped them almost as much - and got them over the 30 mark!

The Smash, on the other hand, dropped like a rock this week. Just when we were starting to think this season might be different, we are reminded that Wardell gonna Wardell! This week they were less ‘smash’ and more ‘splat.’

The Chaos finally get the vindication that they are the unluckiest team - ironically, by snagging their first win of the season.  Even now, they are only TIED for that title with The Brute Squad who are 2nd in Points, 3rd in Breakdown, but sitting at a mere .500.

The luckiest team is still The Wombat Platoon, who are somehow tied for the best record in the league while beating only The Tsunami - who have been the lowest scorer thrice - in Points and Breakdown. Can't explain it, can only report it...

This week's Poor Bitch (and this season's most consistent scorer so far) is The Phoenix who posted a respectable 85 losing points.  The Lucky Bastard is The Wombat Platoon, who only outscored one team (and The Tsunami) yet got the dub! Dying here of "not surprise"!
