Yes, my friends, The Doves have finally attained the title that has (numerically) eluded them for weeks. Team owner Dan Bakley: "Yo, Wombats, I'm really happy for you, and I'mma let you finish, but The Doves just had two of the luckiest wins of all time!" (probably). (Seriously, the last two wins involved a last-minute turnover by their opponent and a C.D. Lamb drop in the endzone...)

On the flip side of that coin, we continue to have a knock-down, drag-out for the title of Unluckiest between The Gamblers and The Brute Squad.  Interestingly, they have the same Real Power Score© of 21.5pts, whereas last week's three-way was spread across the board. To get here, though, The Gamblers, with low score of the week, had the biggest drop and The Brute Squad had the biggest jump from last week!

In other news, The Baggers held onto the top spot, losing only one point with their mediocre performance this week in a one-point loss to The Brute Squad. The Sea Monkeys held onto their second place spot in a solid showing with second highest score for the week, trailing The Chaos by one point (yes, The Chaos! who had this week's highest score! Well, it WAS the lowest league score of the season...)

This week's Lucky Bastard is The Phoenix, who topped The Smash (and only two others) by two points.

Our Poor Bitch is The Tsunami.  1) They jumped out to a big lead against their old man and watched it dwindle the rest of the matchup.  2) They lost the week before Thanksgiving dinner and you just know there will be a comment made... 3) They beat seven teams and tied one, losing only to The Doves and two others.  Our deepest sympathy!
