Two Mannings loses for first time, Still #1
After 10 weeks, we still have a lot of football to play with just a few spots in the playoffs locked up. One of those locked spots will belong to We'll Get Right who put up the high score this week with a very impressive 166.5 points, just beating out Young Gun who also put up over 160. I must say it looks like Jonathan Taylor probably won this game for Right and every owner that had him with that massive 67.6 scoring-fest against the Dirty Birds. We'll Get Right also locked up their Cayenne Division title, even though Hammerheads and Went 4 Wood could tie up their overall record, Right has split games with Hammer and Wood, and Right has a better divisional tiebreaker, so they get the title. Congrats on the extra $70 this week with high score and division We'll Get Right!
Our #1 team, Two Mannings One Cup, took their first loss of the season as The Pelican took them down in a very low scoring affair with both teams scoring under 100. Manning maintains their #1 rank and has ruled the league since week 3, but have they peaked too early? Hmmm. Manning has wrapped up their division, but many other divisions could be locked up this week in some hot divisional championship action, and tiebreaker battles coming up.
Games of the Week (Commish now 12-15) I lost all three this week. ouch.
The Swami-Commish got crushed in week 10 with all three of my picks going down in defeat. I'm looking at you Swamp Dogs, Two Mannings One Cup and Escalades. Now I have to really win out the rest of the season to get over .500.
#1 Two Mannings One Cup (9-1) vs. #24 We Touchdown There (6-4)
Touchdown needs this win to keep up with Winging It in their division. Manning needs the win for Coach of the Year.
#3 Metry Mayhem (7-3) vs. #4 We'll Get Right (7-3)
The two division leaders of the Red Conference go at it. We'll Get Right has locked up their division, but Metry is tied with Let It Ride in their division. A win is a must for Metry.
#5 Danimal Instincts (7-3) vs. #8 Drunken Chef (7-3)
Both are current leaders in their divisions, but need the win to stay ahead of the teams with 6 wins nipping at their heels such as Silver Bullet, Escalades, and F'n Trouble.
