In our first week of the 2025 season it was Papa's 69ers that led the way in scoring, putting up  138.4 with Josh Allen leading the way with almost 50 points. Kicker Boswell put up an impressive 20 for Papa, along with decent double digit numbers from 4 other RB's and WR's. Papa even left over 20 points on the bench with Keon Coleman of Buffalo. Congrats to Papa for taking the week 1 #1 ranking and our weekly $20 high score prize. You only get that prize if your number 1 after week 1. If your #1 after week 12, you get the Coach of the Year award and $250! That's a bit more work to do.

It was honesty a very mediocre first week of scores with almost 30 teams in the league not breaking the 100 point mark. We had a few teams break 100 and still lost, such as Wildcats, Fantasy Girls, Went 4 Wood and Truckboys. Usually if you it 100 your odds are good at winning, but such is fantasy. Yet, we did have 9 teams go under 100 and still win their first games. Nice to have that kind schedule and division.

In the Jimmy Bassett Guillotine competition, 4 teams got the axe this week with weak scores. We'll Get Right, NFL Not for Long, our defending champ Cookie Monster, and Drunken Chef are all out of the Guillotine Competition after the first week. I guess if you must go, do it quickly right? The winner of this competition will be crowned after week 12 with a $150 prize.

Waiver wire starts today, so if you have injuries that need replacing, go into your teams tab, and the waiver wire sub tab.There is even a video link in their to show you how to do it. Make your claims, and backup claims for available players that fit your needs. Remember you get 1 Injured Reserve spot so you can move your injured stud into the IR and pick up someone else. Waiver wire will award players tonight at 10:00pm. Tomorrow morning you can start free-for-all pick ups.
